Question, and maybe you could help. I have this printer and love it, but I seem to being going through ink faster than I was expecting. I have lots of waste.

The printer automatically runs a cleaning cycle every 4 hours. We recommend leaving this feature enabled if the customer uses the printer for less than 1 hour per day. If you are printing for more than 1 hour daily, you can press the emergency stop button on top to allow the white ink and circulation system. This will prevent the 4-hour auto-cleaning cycle from occurring.

can you wetcap it and turn it off overnight ? i like to save energy and ink

It is best to leave it on 24/7 so that it can run it's auto cleaning. You can wetcap the printhead to do an immediate head cleaning for maintenance purposes, but the printhead should not be left in the cleaning solution for an extended amount of time as it may cause damages to the printhead.
