Great Video: I was definitely not sure which type of lift to buy. You have convinced me to go with a 4 poster since I am a relatively basic hobby user. My primary need is to store two vehicles in the normal space for one. Using the jack stands you discussed as an option in order to get to wheels and brakes solved that access concern.
Great work on the design and the addition of the clay looks better to me. Always pushing to inspire. I find I want to tinker more in the garage after watxhing others do great work.
i'm jealous your headlights sanded that easy, I guess mine weren't in that bad of shape but man I am struggling to get that clearcoat off..... I almost think mine has ceramic coating on it
Damn i just rewathched your last hummer vid and found this. Im doing an engine build myself currently. With your transfer issues it might have answered the question i head about a front locker. Gonna look into this joint in wichita
Landed back on this video, curious if you think the front locker was worth it. Doing a big engine build on my h2 was wondering if you were happy with the front locker. Ive been going back and forth because as heavy as these rigs are, and my type of off-roading, i dont know if id notice much. Just curious. Btw your rig looks outstanding
I used the front locker in the ice and snow conditions in this video and the fact everyone else was barely making it out and I was cruisin out like nothin
Thats what we're after. Great mods for cars is what creates appeal and a constant buyer demand. That keeps these cars relevant and in the minds of future builders. Just tryin to do my part...lol
Scaling a business upward even with funding is not an easy thing. Innovation and technology are time consuming and expensive. Can't wait to see how you push Knightdrivetv forward.
Mate your absolutely killing it! These look so good! I will be getting a set to replace my current set. Also, have you thought about making spot lights/ light bars that would replace the fog light? So use like a 12" light bad that inserts into the same place as the OEM fog lights as a replacement. I'm currently in the process of making these, 3d scanned the OEM fog light shroud so far. If this is something that you would be interested in doing I'm happy to share you my files if it means they would be made by a professional like you. Let me know!
I scanned the corners and entire front end. I have had an idea on that portion of the car for a while, but it has to work into my plan for product and certain factors. I am still debating what I want to do in the corner area. I have an idea thats aggressive but requires modding the bumper, versus an option thats less aggressive but no mod and cool...but not as cool...lol
Theyve been posted in the KnightDriveTV Corvette Enthusiasts group on facebook amd other places...prior videos, etc. Plenty out there. Definitely way way brighter than stock, thats for sure
Happy to see we are getting closer. This is going to be great. I know we all appreciate the hard work and the great things you are doing. Interested in Max Din, waiting patiently and trying to talk myself into it. Thanks Damien.
Awesome, been waiting patiently for the c5 square bezels to go with your headlight assemblies . This is really fantastic news and i can't wait to install them when the pre orders start shopping out one day. 🏁. Than you for your innovation and bringing new designs for these legacy corvettes
Awesome video! I love how engaged in the community you are. I have the square setup, and it's one of the best mods ive done! Keep up the good work man, we all appreciate it!
Like you said, these only help. Epitome of OEM++ to me, which I agree, is the hardest. I adore how curvy the C5 is, but the notchback FRC + square LEDs are the perfect contrast to that, plus the Z06 wheels. I need to put your lights on my car! Still sitting, it'll be my biggest automotive project so far. Soon! Then bezels after they're done.
I have an early version of the squares How difficult will be to swap out to the new brackets so the bezels will fit? What’s next, how about a fully functional front splitter for the c5😊
Amazing video and as a hobbyist this was what I needed to hear as I had not considered a 4-post and you totally sold me. I was nervous about a 2-post as I am not a concrete expert either, but thank you so much! I love to tinker but I am a nurse not a diehard and I want to be alive to play w my cars.
In person these look even better. It is amazing in this day and age you still push the boundaries and ignore the status quo and mainstream way of doing things. Keep pushing bro and you are going to take your place in Corvette history. To think you came from humble beginnings with a Corvette poster on your wall to making these awesome parts for the cars you love. Images of cars with your lights are flooding the interwebs and I'm sure your influencing many younger kids to want Corvettes. Good shit bro good shit!!!!
I like where you're going with the square bezels. On the round bezels I would curve the bezel at the bottom of each round light to fit the bottom of the light that would look very nice.
I designed the shirt myself too...lol. The Snake on the closed portion of Mullholland using the M logo...for those that dont know. I love runnin the cali canyons
Love the fitment on the rounds, not a fan of the reflection on the bezel tho... what if the round k8ndof tunneled out to the front edge to bring out the round look more and eliminate the reflection.
This is not an attempt and being negatively critical! I think its fantastic, what you have accomplished. It Was just something I saw and was offering my opinion and vision.
Hell yes! Man I actually might not paint the bezels. I was fully expecting to from day 1 but now that I've seen them all flush like that on the blue car.... I can't decide.
