It is a pedal-assist for sure, so you need to pedal and put a bit of your effort into any climb or ride. However, with 600 W maximum output and a good gearing, it will take you to most of the serious uphills unless you are like 300 kg / 660 lbs...
its like the road bike of the trike world and no trike should deviate from this basic perfect ideal. of course im talking about the greenspeed aero lol
The MGU is an interesting project, but we better like to use proven systems with good worldwide support. Especially when talking about motors that are difficult to disassemble, ship etc. Not like a derailleur, bike bag or things like this. So, we will see, maybe in the coming years. Honza
Proud Ti-Fly 20” owner here with the Shimano EP8. I have over 17K miles on it. Fantastic trike. The addition of the Bosch Perf CX is amazing and one of the many things that that make AZUB great. They give their customers a LOT of options for configuration. Congrats AZUB and thanks for continuing to innovate and evolve. 2 800MA batteries with 240 mile range is crazy!
I have a TiFly X on order with the Brose system. I contacted my shop to see if they could switch my build over to the Bosch mostly for the 800w/hr battery but the sleek look doesn't hurt. Adding the Rolhoff E14 as well if the timing isn't too late. Fingers crossed.
We did. It was great. These two trikes had disc brakes, but we have descended it with drum brakes and our push brakes few years ago and it was possible.
I was just recently gifted a recumbent and needed to make an adjustment as I am taller than the person who gifted it to me. this really helped me a lot. I now know how to fit myself to this bike.
Really glad I was watching all of this on matt’s channel as it happened and I hope it’s not over, I hope Honza and Matt plan to be at cycle con I’m thinking of going and would love to meet them both!
