I've learned that David Draiman and Disturbed address depression, addiction and suicide during every concert, performance offering support and understanding. They are one of the most popular, loved bands of our time! 😊❤
This song has so many different meanings... When schools, especially public schools from kindergarten through high school run out of funding the first programs they cut ✂️ are the art's, music, theater etc. Also, ISOLATION, DIVISION, LONELINESS, NOT COMMUNICATING, NOT STANDING UP FOR OUR RIGHTS OR EXPRESSING OURSELVES AND WHAT WE BELIEVE IN, I could go on and on. 😢
Darnell, I loved your reactions and comments. I'm a visual person so I appreciate that you are too. Be sure to watch their live performance on Conan. NOTE: that David Draiman was really sick for the Conan live performance and I heard he was not pleased with his performance, being the perfectionist that he is I can understand why he felt that way. However, the production as a whole was amazing and his performance was EXCEPTIONAL! I loved it. So POWERFUL and EMOTIONAL! Thanks, Diane😊❤ Disturbed "The Sound Of Silence" 03/28/16 | CONAN on TBS Team Coco
OMG, the tissues I've 🤧 gone through since I discovered David Draiman and Disturbed performing their rendition of "The Sound of Silence" on April 29, 2024. That day I have to believe my spirit 🙏 guides (out of the blue) first led me to a cover video by Dan Vasc singing "Amazing Grace" which was phenomenal 👏 and then to the cover video of Disturbed and David Draiman singing this most POWERFUL, EMOTIONAL 😂rendition of Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound of Silence". I'm 75 and was 15 when they released one of the most popular classic songs of our time during the 60's. NOTE: For those interested here's some history of the song... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Silence It's amazing how relevant it is today. Actually I feel it is even more relevant now more than ever, and how we're so attached to our electronics and don't actually share our thoughts and feelings with each other. Because of that it actually becomes more difficult to do so. We are losing our ability to really be able to communicate with each other No wonder we've become so divided. I've spent days listening and seeing the many channel hosts and each of your reactions and hearing all of your comments and have thoroughly enjoyed every one and still 😢 almost every time. I've also noticed that more males have shown more emotion and gotten teary-eyed than the females, just an observation. Thanks, from Diane😊❤
She performed it the last American Idol. She was about to have her son. She has a new version of it, referring to her kids as "they" and avoids her thoughts of her ex-husband. Referring to herself instead.😊
Just to let you know Dimash just put out a new music video that will knock your socks off. It's called "When I've Got You." It's more like a short movie. You've got to watch it.
Thanks, Darnell! What's even more impressive, is that he does everything related to the video; including arranging, editing, lighting, costumes, etc. He's probably the most talented overall musical person I've ever come across.
From PMJ, highly recommend watching Haley sing-Don’t Speak, All About that Bass, and 7th Nation Army; Morgan James sing-Dream On, Maps; and Effie Passero sing-I was made for loving you, and Hallelujah. Phenomenal singers and Scott is a genius with his reimagined arrangements.
These boys can't just be amazing at singing and choreography, oh no. Eli had to go and sing the last song in Korean because, ya know, why not. But that's why I absolutely adore these boys. Keep up the great reactions!
If you want insane costumes and such, I highly suggest Valhalla Calling by VoicePlay as well as My Mother Told Me, The Dragonborn Comes and In the Hall of the Mountain King. For Geoff's solo channel I highly suggest Way Down and the Rains of Castimere. Love the reactions
So this is actually part of a "trilogy" of sorts. The first song in this trilogy is their cover of Warriors by Imagine Dragons, then this, then Seven Nation Army and it's all set in the post-apocalypse. Such a great cover and such a great reaction!
If you like Anthony, I highly recommend reacting to VoicePlay's cover of Seven Nation Army. You want some insane beatboxing, it's in there. Love the reactions!
You most definitely should! It's such a good movie. Geoff also does a cover of Jack's Lament from the same movie. Just subscribed to you and love your reactions!
Hey, my dude! Just a quick update, but Matt Harloff just accepted the head director position at Avon High School, and coincidentally they won BOA this year! Just thought I'd let you know!
Did you ever listen to her covers of Better Days, officially missing you or fly me to the moon? Also you might like their house of the rising sun cover that came out recently
