No because zombie respawn no matter what you do. I disable all respawn option and they still pop up. Like zombies that are sitting right next to buildings is a respawn. They respawn no matter what.
Very interesting find, i might just have to give that a shot this winter. Speaking of which, the game A Long Dark is one of the better contemporary survival sims. Green Hell is also fairly good if you can just ignore the storyline amd focus on the survival. Ancestors: a Human Odyssey is also kinda unique.
It also trains your aiming and reloading skill to use a shotgun as your first gun. The hit detection on a shotgun round is so forgiving that it's feasible to start leveling up your aiming and reloading by using shotguns in a combat situation.
Sawed double barrel for ever. Handgun M625 revolver. None of those two can jam, so as long they work you are safe. M14 is fun, but no gun is better than those two.
one of my first games after starting to get better i holed myself in a house out in the boonies, only for a helicopter to bring in a swarm from Muldraugh. by this time i had already barricaded the house with metal plates, so i had a field day popping out from different secure sheet ropes on the top of the house and kiting them around.
The best thing about Shotguns is, you skill aiming way fasterr with shotguns. Every time when you hit multiple zeds with one shot you earn way more xp than killen every zed one by one, and with a shotgun its extreamly easy.
Shotgun isnn't actually good damage. It will usually hit 6 zoms, but not kill them. The REAL reason to use shotguns is that it levels Aiming fast. Real fast. Which means you can start using a pistol or a rifle sooner.

Every day "Allegations getting worse", meanwhile, 1.5 million subs every week still, not depleting at all. audience prob a bunch of idiots that can't see the dislike ratio anyway, especially when it's hidden on mobile = they see zero unless they bring the link to a dislike checker website that isn't the extension, nobody gonna do that. What else.... RU-vid defends a lot of anyone despite what they've done such as Sniperwolf because she brings $ with that stolen content. I wouldn't be surprised if the stock market fall is partially due to MrBeast. His channel is so big that it cannot drop in subs like "TheFineBros" they did a massive unsub on that channel but it was significantly smaller and still very community based that weren't all idiots/kids lol. So MrBeast's fall could actually ruin this platform... we may have to move to something like Odysee, I don't know much about it, but the platform does look good/better than Twitch and Kick, isn't Google crap.
OK thanks for bringing this up. It's not just me?? I get recommended a video. I watch it, then 10 more pop up on my front page. And they're all the exact same video with someone else presenting the exact same information. Everyone is just copy pasting video scripts and ideas for views. There's not an original thought put in to a single video any more.
It be hard being addicted to drama man. Pyro, Asmon, Sunny, I be watching them all. Even og Leafy vids were always my cup of tea. Just that lizard part of my brain feeding off that drama.
I like to set the population to high, with peak population set somewhere around 80 days. So a pretty slow start, overall, but one that means that every area in wich I base during those first weeks still HAS an effective spawn mechanic, at least until the overall spawned zeds number reach peak population. Usually by that poin I'm finishing the resources, so I'm preparing to move away... And by that point, BOOOM, lots and lots of zeds. They are also weak, frail shamblers that can't infect me. But, with the evolution mod, they soon are able to infect, become steadily faster, stronger and smarter (those creeps that can open doors etc) while starting to evolve precisely around the same time they reach peak population. So my playthrough involves usually a few frantic first weeks when I try to get as much supplies I can, clear out the neighboring areas of my chosen base as much as I can, have as much equipement as I can, because when winter ends I now it will be madness The ultimate goal is always of course trying to clear out the map. Yeah... That never happened, and whenever I manage to survive that long there are instances in wich even with a lot of high skills, strenght and stamina (exercised during winter), armed with loads of guns and everything, even being able to set a foothold into a town I still Haven't been to yet, by that point of the game feels a titanic endevour I play in my head the narrative that at first, the virus is basically airborne, and if you are immune you are immune. But as the sickness progresses and there are no more people left alive, the virus itself starts evolving in order to be able to better spread itself, therefore rendering the zombies more aggressive, stronger and everything... And also of course developing the ability to trasmit itself via bodily fluids
I totally agree with you. I see it all over RU-vid and as you pointed out, it's pure garbage. I see people making videos about how to reach 100 subs while advertising their E-book or course. RU-vid is becoming diluted content.
If possible I build under the elder platform. Dig deep enough and you don't need to worry about chimneys. You also have the benefit of a unbreakable walls and a roof!
Thanks for saying this, as a "RU-vidr" it is discouraging to see this everywhere and it makes me not want to make videos. Having said that... I've made a few "drama" videos and it should be said they do get insane views, but it also attracts a terrible audience. So short term gain... long term loss imo.
If you make a new account there is a blank front page now. It just says "Search for something to get started" So you might as well just fix your front page by searching for things you want to see on it. There is no reset any more.

People love gossip and drama I'm afraid, just look at music and television celebrities, people are obsessed with the drama and it's been around for years long before youtube.
I totally feel your fatigue as well regarding the sensationalism and pitch fork grabbing occurring on a daily basis. I think a lot of people are growing tired really quick of the new RU-vid and how it's lost its soul. I'm taking a bet that authenticity will eventually win out again as more and more of these 'sensational' RU-vidrs get exposed for heinous acts behind the scenes. People are beginning to wake up and it's an unpleasant process, but one that's necessary to go through to get back to a time where content can be original and creative again. Even though I'm not super big into survival games at the moment, I'll leave a sub anyways since I support your message :)
We will never get the old RU-vid back. It’s only going to get worse, way worse. Because most people aren’t like you or I, they are the types who watch The Ace Family and MrBeast and Logan Paul. That’s the majority of RU-vid watchers.
I've been sitting a raised platform I built in the black forest, it's right by a grey dwarf spawner and I'm just sitting here letting my skeletons kill them, I've got so many stacks of grey dwarf eyes and wood now xD
