One thing viewers need to know that the reason you're not seeing these shows is they are waiting to get restored by Warners Discovery. This of course takes time.
Whaaat? No Jabberjaw on MeTV Toons? But who's going to talk like Curly when Curly isn't here? Oh well, I suppose if I want to see someone who talks like Curly, I'll have to watch MeTV or MeTV Plus.
Muppet Babies, Thundercats, Sailor Moon, My little Pony& Friends, Gi Joe real American Hero, Pup name Scooby Doo, Pound Puppies 1980, Cow& Chicken, COPS, Procidis once upon a time and This America Charlie Brown series could be intresting selection Great Review..

what so bad about CN is that the programing now is mid the olny thing good about it is the Adult Swim TOONAMI block i not seen CN in a long time sense i don't have the channel any more and don't get me started on Nicktoons and it's bloat that is Sponge Bob taking up the the hole channel the last time i ever watched TV was when the hub was on the air after the hub went off the air my dad switch from direct TV to xfinity and got the Cheap plan that got rid of cartoon network so without TOONAMI i mostly watch you tube and twitch or just play Xbox .. this is the first in a long time i watch tv
Since they already have Freakazoid on the lineup, it would help if they add Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and Pinky and the Brain in the future. Since they were canceled, they never air past 5 years on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon with the exception of Tiny Toons on Nick from 1995 to 1999. After 2006, they were never seen again, which was a shame since I love those shows along with the classic vintage cartoons! MeTV Toons would be perfect for the 3.
I personally think the channel needs a Hanna Barbera centric show for like an hour a day. Sort of like Boomerang Zoo was. It should air Yogi, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw, Pixie Dixie and Mr Jinks. Yakky Doodle, Magilla Gorilla, Wally Gator, etc. It would be like Bugs Bunny and Friends that focus on the Looney tunes shorts. Casper and Company that focus on the Harveytoons, Popeye and Pals that focus on the Paramount pictures. I think you all get where i'm coming from
I think MeTV Toons should adopt a prime time schedule similar to the alphabet networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.). In other words, during the 3 hours of prime time, they should show 2 hours of comedy cartoons and the last hour of action/drama cartoons. Also similar to the alphabet networks, every night including weekends, should be different cartoons in prime time and not the same ones every day. Also similar to the alphabet networks 3 hour morning news/talk shows, MeTV Toons should have 3 hours of morning action/drama cartoons. It could be the same cartoons Mon-Fri. The rest of the day, late nights and weekends before prime time, MeTV Toons can do what they're currently doing. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!🤣
The only problem with MeTV Toons is that that in several large markets, like Philadelphia for instance, it can be next to impossible to pick it up with a OTA antenna due to the weak signal the broadcast tower puts out in comparison to say PBS.
Well if you think about it. Back in the day, weekday line-up of cartoons had always been repetitive. It's actually nice because you get the sense and the feel of how it use to be. I remember growing up watching Fox Kids, Kids WB, Disney Afternoon, I knew EXACTLY when certain shows came on and I loved it. Now granted it was multiple channels compared to MeTV Toons. But give it time, I'm sure they will add more cartoons to the lineup. I honestly don't want newer cartoons within the 2000s. There's a TON of cartoons within what we have airing now all the way up to the 90s. They haven't scratched the surface yet.
@@justzaveee163 can confirm, the folks who own and operate MeTV aren't exactly investing in their infrastructure any more than they need too... which is amazing since they have 9 different subchannels
I'm expecting a new lineup come Labor Day. What we have here is a summer schedule and for those of us who work all day Bugs and company at 8pm is a good thing.
The quality of the HD remastering is impressive, I remember watching old VHS releases back in the day, and they were very faded and the sound was very tinny. They did say they schedule will be rotated quite often, so it should be interesting to see what shows stay and which ones get added. I remember the early days of Boomerang and how exciting it was, but when the channel went fully automated, and the same 20 episodes of the same shows repeated every week, it left the channel stale, and with so much content they could have aired, it was sad they let it get that way. I hope that MeTV Toons is able to keep the network feeling fresh, while still keeping the schedule filled with classics.
I can't get Metv on my antenna so I really hope Spectrum cable would add Metv Toons, but they DIDN'T!! And I don't want to buy Friendly tv just to get 1 channel, Metv Toons for $8.00 a month!!😡
