Ahhh that's what's causing it! I like the elastic band solution, I will try it, simple and cheap. Another option not mentioned is to wear boots and put the top part of the boot over the bottom part of the wetsuit. I've never had jelly legs when I do this.

gonna try it out, I want to improve my upwind riding, it got better but its not perfect yet. I have one problem though and it might sound weird. I often feel like im leaned back but im not as i record myself often and then I see. I can lean back more and more.

Hey! Yes, for sure. When you are moving forward (downwind), it is a lot easier to pull a heli as it is easier to get the kite loop nicely around the back of you. Hope that helps!

Thanks. What if I want to keep the image of the pointer? The image I chose is like a 3D shiny gold hand pointer and coloring it gives it a 2D bland look. If you're able to answer, thank you, if not, I'll just use the 2D bland look temporarily for my videos until I find something better.
Hey. Thanks for the comment! Try dragging the image straight into your timeline without using the Fusion composition feature. If the image's background has already been removed, then this should work for you. Hope that helps!
Yes, great point! That is generally best practice but I personally prefer securing the chicken loop first as I find that the safety line gets in the way when securing the chicken loop if it is connected first.
I have a question about board size. I understand that you need a bigger board for light wind days or for a heavy rider. But how small can you go for the same rider and when do you know to reduce the board size? If you able to ride efficiently on a large board do effect will a smaller board give you?
Hey mate, thanks for the question! Yes, a larger board helps you ride easier in light wind or if you're a heavier rider. In my opinion, board size is simply personal preference. The advantage of a smaller board is that generally you can hold your edge better because it is easier to dig a smaller edge deeper into the water. A smaller board is also lighter and easier to throw around if you are doing board offs, etc. As a point of reference, I am about 85kg, 182cm tall and have owned: 134x39.5 ; 138x42 and 135x41.5 I am currently on the 135 Monarch, slightly bigger profile but I like the speed that I can get. Thanks Teagan, i was struggling at the stage of waterstart and consistent ride, your estimate time required for basic mastery for average person is very realistic imho. The claims for six hour packages might not be appropriate for many beginners.

On the Internet people just say if took them a few lessons and I was just struggling for a long time. I think it also took me close to 40 hours. I will have a look through the rest of your series! Dude, that is the greatest video tutorial so in depth I actually learned more from that than I did a bunch of other videos that I’ve been looking at very new beginner here. I’m really good on. I got a couple 3 m trainers that I’ve been practicing with and can’t hold them at 10 and two and three one-handed so now onto the big kite. I have a core XR 12 haven’t put it in the air yet though any suggestions?

My only advice is always stay on the cautious side in the early stages of learning and take it slow -> don't rush the learning process. Kind of bummed because I was hoping to replace Camtasia with Davinci resolve bur I can see now that these are different types of apps. I need a screen recorder and something that comes with assets like boxes, arrows, etc. I didn't realize I went up to download arrows from somewhere else and it doesn't look like you can record the screen either
Hey, I don't know of any apps that offer all of that functionality in a single app. From my personal experience, OBS Studio is by far the best screen recorder and is used by all the gamers. For any boxes or arrows etc for demonstrations or diagrams, I use Canva for this. DaVinci Resolve is only a video editor. Hope this helps.

Hey! Complete rookie here…😅 lol I wish to record video in the traditional landscape orientation but physically mount the camera in a vertical position on my helmet. Can I do that with this feature? Your help would be much appreciated!
Hey! Thanks for the comment. Yes, you can definitely do that! The camera has an auto-rotate feature so you can film in the normal ratio when the camera is upside down, sideways, etc. You don't need to use horizon lock for what you are looking to do, but it will work. Hope that helps!

Yes, it should definitely save on battery. Also horizon-lock might not support 4k/60... not sure though. Using auto-rotate you'll be able to use 4k/60 no problem. I think if you are looking to record for 2 ish hours you'll probably need a second battery.
How do you upload it on Instagram? I don't get the action cameras. Is it a smart device like smartphones? Does it have software for Instagram and you just upload the video? Or you have to transfer the video from the freaking action camera to your phone to upload the video to Instagram like a descent human being?
Haha, it can be a bit confusing... They are not a smart device, so unfortunately you can't upload straight to Insta from the camera. You'll need to take the footage off the SD card first via your computer or phone and then upload it to Insta from there.

I tried adding one of your arrows (thanks for providing them) and it showed up too big. Part of the arrow is getting cropped off. I can't figure out how to shrink the arrow down.
Hi, thanks for the comment! Make sure that you are using an arrow that matches the orientation and ratio of the footage that you are editing. example: if you are editing horizontal RU-vid style content (16:9) make sure to use a horizontal (16:9) version of the arrow. If you're editing vertical footage, rotate the image of the arrow into 9:16 and then add it into DaVinci. That should hopefully solve that issue 👍
So I also use Davinci resolve upscale method but my video still shows 2k and the video on youtube has quality lower than the video before uploaded and i dont know why this happens. I use 23000 bps while recording games but I still don't know. Please help.
Hey bro! The same happens to me. It's almost like RU-vid figures out that the video has been upscaled after a couple days of it being online and then only logs it as the resolution that it was originally in before being upscaled. The most important thing is that you keep the VP09 codec though which is fine 👍 Hope that helps

No worries at all! Hmm, I'm not sure... Perhaps double check that your export settings out of DaVinci match the OBS footage that you are editing. More than that, I'm not really sure...
