Original gator car was 1974 Ltd Ford bourham it had the 429 Cobra jet engine with twin turbo actually double supercharger and quad carburetor but in the movies it was actually fill with real mountain dew sticky licky white lighting for fuel consumption or moonshine since the 429 Cobra jet engine was already in the boss mustang 71-74 model that replaced the 302 boss engine from 1968-1971

I hate that kit…I built a frame, tubbed it, making a pro street and I still haven’t finished it. The interior sucks. I even covered the seats. Did a lot of interior detailing. The whole thing has fit problems. I’ll finish it. But it’s a pain in the ass. Yours looks good…
Thanks @@wooddawgz1504 Sorry to hear the issues you’ve had with it. The interior was the biggest challenge I faced with it so far. The suspension I chucked, mostly in favor of Iceman Collections suspension components. Hopefully you will get yours done with fewer issues ahead. ✌🏽😎👍🏾
I 3d printed a narrowed rear clip, lowered spindles, coil springs and tubs. Put a 9 inch outta a nascar kit and slicks and front runners off a diecast. I changed them out so I could put 4 wheel disk on it. The frame was messed up outta the box. All those locating pins and the body won’t work right. I put the 409 outta the AMT 58 BelaIr in it. It was looking good but I got frustrated with it. It might wind up as a project truck in a garage diorama…lol
