Fight PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety by getting your BUTT on your Mountain Bike!

My name is Tony Carletello, I'm a mental health professional/clinician. We address subjects such as depression, anxiety, and various mental health disorders and how mountain biking can be an essential tool for managing mental illness. Im personally developing a mental health treatment model that incorporates mountain biking to reduce the symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The goal is to one day start a private practice (NON PROFIT) using Mountain biking as a tool to address various mental health needs.

I think it is a sabotage. Just instinct to prevent turnover. Body doing anything to keep to prevent get to "dangerous" configuration. You focused, you extend arms. OK, you body will not move backward. You focused on move backward, OK, it will not extend arms. You focused on both, now you feet are just get "weaker" :) Fear is the source, and various wrong movements are just following it unconsciously.

Lots of people that are good at things are not good at articulating or teaching them ... this does not make them bad people nor does it mean they are keeping info from anyone some people figure this shot out on their own and some people never get it no matter how it is taught or shown to them

I love the bunny hop part. It’s seems to be hard to learn to do it. I have a question about equal engagement of both forks. I just saw this saying only engaging your rear suspension. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S2Tnp37bzPo.html

Just adding you have to drive the front wheel up to get height. Look at the guy on green bike vs you. Almost impossible to use the whole lip doing both the same time. Pinkbike breaks it down in his jump video.

I absolutely love riding with music! My ear buds have a bypass function that can even be turned up so I hear more than I would without them. Usually listen to rock music, seems to fit the cadence and tempo well most of the time. I would recommend against listening to audiobooks and doing zone 2 laps somewhere tho. You will end up doing way more laps than you should and won't be able to walk the next day.

I know how that can go. Someone may recommend to start at your comfort zone and do not build up until you feel comfortable. Your body will let you know when it's ready to go to the next level.

I turned the video off when this clown didn’t remember what bike he even rides. Makes me wonder if he even rides. Hmmmm. Maybe I’ll watch the rest of the video to see if he does or not. Either way, I ride I9 hydra classic rear and DTSwiss 350 front on DT Swiss wheels on my trek fuel ex5. I love the buzz. Ok. So I watched the rest of this. This dude is not a rider.

You know, I9 doesn't just make Hydra hubs. They also make 1/1 which i have a pair and i love them! They are better than the ones i had. (stout). I think most wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 90 points and the engagement of the hydra using 29er wheels.

so why would you maybe not put invis on an aluminium frame bike? My bike and last bike was aluminiums and only for 1 chip and it was on the lower tube. Is it work just doing that part of the bike the under side of the tube yourself with 3m tape? And leave the rest uncovered? My last bike was brand new all over the rest of the frame. Just got new bike not sure what to do. Thanks

English bunny hop what a load rubbish sorry to be negative but, we have done it the other way you showed for decades that so called English one he done there was something you done on your first ever try as a kid getting the both wheels off the ground that was it or you would land the rear wheel on the edge of a crib and puncture!
