I'd Rather be able to work on my truck. I refuse to buy anything newer than 2004 because they decided that stupid stuff like this was more important than reliability and repairability.
If you need more towing capacity than a couple kayaks I would walk away from the maverick and go join the middle aged people who stop at yellow lights and wait under the light after it turns green way to long and get a Subaru
Ok, just another stupid option that when it fails you get to spend an outrageous amount of money to fix. So sad that people so love all this new crap they put into cars not realizing what it's going to cost to replace. Just like those big tablets on your dash that control everything. AHH Rams do the same thing. And it's so aggravating . If you running all over large job sites and in and out your truck. Pulling off or creeping and it slams into park.
My brother was towing 6k with his 05 4Runner with the 4.7L V8. And we are not on flat ground, we deliver firewood all around Orange county and surrounding counties. 1,800 lbs tongue weight. We used the hitch receiver that came from the factory with the 4Runner. Super springs international make great suspension assist products, and without them we would be riding on the bump stops at all times. Now he has a 02 7.3L powerstroke that tows like nothing. But we were towing With the Toyota for over a year.
I actually saw a Shelby F150 in Brenham Texas a few years ago at a Chevron gas station. You can actually get a Raptor converted into a Shelby, but not by Ford. There's a separate company that does that, and it was expensive at the time, costing as much as the Raptor. So, basically, to get a Shelby conversion, you have to pay as much as two Raptors.
There's nothing platinum about that suv. It's mediocre at best. Looks more like a bait and switch build. They give you one good thing and then sacrifice the rest with the mediocre feature. Everything has to be perfect and in the proper layout. NoT let's give the customer this and then replace that with something inferior.

I have one of these. The trunk is supposed to auto open...looks like they removed the motors and gears so they can manually open can close it. Ghetto AF. I have the same car, paid 20k with a working trunk. It also doesn't have an awesome sound, it's made to be quiet....clearly a guy who doesn't actually drive a Bentley like ever
@Loyall-D2 ok so your saying that a toyota prius is a great manual i mean like the mustang is more fun, comfortable, and more easy to use like im pretty sure a teenager would have a blast with this mustang unlike the prius + im not talking about the Darkhorse, im talking about a GT or a Ecoboost
