I’m still hoping that South Western Railway will eventually introduce the Class 701 in service on other routes to replace the Class 455. And not just on the Windsor & Eton Riverside service.
707024/030 was out this night (11/04/2024) I ended up catching it from Earlsfield to Clapham Jn and on platform 2 it said 10 coaches long train so I thought that it would be a 458 or those 701s but the most rarest and unique of all of SWR's fleet the 707 turns up an opportunity not to be missed by enjoying a ride on the oddity that is the SWR 707.
Fantastic to hear. Oddly a few days or so later after “the last 707” SWR brought 2 units back to the South West. My understanding/theory is so more don’t become short formed, but I don’t really know. They’re set to leave soon though, so enjoy them when you can.
I like watching all buses on vision also when get on that I'm never in hurry going my way forward coming back yes though yes !!! I never new they been running that long it's good job the wheels last then😮😊
In case of the safety part, you can use ( Deaths every year divided by No of people travel by train every year in that country) if the data is readily available or else the present parameter would also suffice.
