(Also, as I've already told you, I hope that the total track distance is removed due to it benefitting larger countries so a lot of smaller countries are guaranteed to lose a point)

Safety and distance of tracks is a bit unfair IMHO. The first should be adjusted for population, the second by area.

As a Swede, I would have been very surprised if Sweden would have come up on top here. The punctuality was essentially a draw, and the safety has little to do with the trains themselves. And France is a pioneer in high-speed rail.

Fair enough, but Sweden definitely is a very cool country with fantastic trains.
