Things I would like to add: 1. Roots will take up to 14 inventory spaces (blood + all herbs) for a pretty bad reward. I would call it ineffective space investment 2. Realistically, you will lack bottles more than herbs if you wanna stockpile tinktures, and there is are much more effective ways to earn money than selling herbs (especially going into mid-late game, because the prices will skyrocket, while herbs will cost the same, so going for huge amounts of herbs isn't worth it 3. The range in which herbs won't respawn at 7:30 is pretty small, so my go-to strat for picking herbs is: A. Go out of my lair with clean inventory at 5:00 after finishing all other night tasks B. Collect all the herbs at the Guzzle's springhead, crowstone and at raga's. If you are going too fast and have extra time, you can go to thr cemetery C. Go to Shekhen and collect all the herbs there D. Wait till 7:30 a bit outside of shekhen (but not too far). You should ideally arrive to shekhen at 7:10-20, so you won't have to wait for long. E. After it hits 7:30, recollect herbs from every location i listed By doing this, I came back at 9:00 on day 3 with 110 herbs (in just 3.5 in-game hours). You can start doing this at the start of day 3 and repeat every 2 days. While it is only 55 herbs a day, you spend way less time on collecting them Notes: you barely get any ashen swish and don't get any white whip by this method. I find this to be a non-issue because tinktures made of swevery to be the best, regardless of who you are gonna use them on, player or NPC (btw don't waste plus tinktures on diagnostics, just use normal ones). As for selling - I just don't recommend to sell any herbs on days when ashen swish or white whip are requested, unless you have some swish you randomly found, because looking for them specifically to sell is not worth your time
Oh it’ll happen eventually just probably not soon. I want to finish the video I’m currently working on first but videos seem to take me longer and longer to make lately. In the future any challenge runs and play throughs will be streams tho.
If the room in the Bachelor’s route turns out to be the secret one you can enter in Patho 1 and you can only access it if were a backer back in the day I’ll be surely disappointed
I actually think the old design of the shmowders are cute. The new design looks more like an actual medicine than the heart shaped box they used to be in. Looks more like a kid made it
The new design is clearly supposed to look like a matchbox, which is both pretty common and was used in one Russian story to store something akin to a genie, I think the new design is more interesting
You can stop the plague on day 10 from infecting the children You should enter the abattoir on day 9, preferably without exhaustion, after that you will wake up on day 10 in front of the well, but the plague will not be there, now the only thing you need to do is wait until 13:00 to save Lara (just brew the panacea and cure other people or use boats to skip time), after that you can just sleep until day 11 and then talk to the plague, it will infect the children, but now it's too late and you just saved 7 cures that you would use on them.
The dock, and Lara’s back door, there’s lots of things like that all over the town. All of s sudden there will be a clearing between buildings that feels purposeful, but completely empty. It feels like a lot was changed but it also ads to the mystery of the town. Also btw the burning steppe girl cutscene is so jarring and loud that they have to change that… I hate it
I have a trick to add onto this: Time your visit to Shekhen for around 23:30 or so. You can pick all three herb beds, then run far enough off to the side so when midnight hits, all three herb beds respawn at once and you effectively double your productivity
Whoa, it's Smooth Grief! I'm so happy to see him in the wild. Some of his late-game dialogue is different (and [SPOILER]'s dialogue about him) as well, but you hit most of the relevant lines about his appearance.
I questioned the same thing when I was making that fact but it’s never said exactly when Simon dies. The kains say something along the lines of “we’ve lost someone recently as well” and the townsfolk mostly speak of Isidor’s death on day 1, which lead me to believe Simon must have died at least a few days before Artemy arrives in town. Although it is possible I’m wrong
We need more mod like inventory and bargaining stuff (An apple. Strawberry. Peach. Carrot. Tomato. Potato. Mushroom. Orange. Cake. Candy. Cookie. Toy for childrens like ball, teddy bear or something. Gun scrap. Rope. Flower, gold or gem for women. More bug like cockroach, butterfly or ladybug.) And more mod like animals (Dog, cat, crow, rat, bug, spider, goat, pig, bee, frog) And environmental and climate things (Thunderstorm rain, heavy wind, tornado, acid rain, cold wind, earthquake. Barrels, campfire, Personal seller or trader. Garbage in front of houses. Homeless people.) Also great test stream love you! 🥰🙌🏻
Flametrowers have 10000 hp. This explains why I focused on shooting one with the rifle for over 10 minutes and they didn't die. But if you somehow miraculously kill one, do they drop anything? Weapons, ammunition, clothes or something like that?
Where'd you even get a good condition rifle? Anyway, a lockpick will instant kill any enemy if you attack and it breaks. An almost broken lockpick can even kill flamethrower guys. They really don't drop much. Some raisins, walnuts, or other low value items. Gameplay Spoilers below if you haven't finished the game. Kids leave the next day I believe so there's not a lost of value in killing them. You probably don't need the food if you made it that far, but regular soldiers are better. If you're really desperate you can kill a soldier, run inside a building, wait a bit, and stealth away when his friend forgets you. Even if you're completely out of food, soldiers have enough for the rest of the game.
About the chairs: after watching this video I finished my playthrough and noticed that the metal one on the left is equal to the one that the Inquisitor has in the Cathedral, and the cushioned one is equal to the one in Town Hall that Dora sits on. About each chair corresponding to one of the healers, I see your point. The game is obsessed with trios, but I don't think they always match correctly with the healers. As an example, the Stone Yard has the Polyhedron which is associated to the Bachelor, the Knots have the Theater which is associated to the Changeling, and the Earth has the Abbatoir which is associated to the Haruspex. However, the Olgimskys live in the Knots and are associated to the Haruspex, and the Saburovs live in the Earth and are associated to the Changeling. In a similar way, even when trios match to our healers, the "position" of the triangle might change. You can see the Bachelor as being opposed to the Haruspex, and the Changeling being the middle term, but I would argue that you can also interpret the Haruspex as being the middle term. For example, in the Pathologic 2 artbook, the developers describe the Bachelor as "solids + upward vector", the Haruspex as "water + forward vector" and Clara as "vapor + sideways vector"; in terms of states of matter the Haruspex is in between them, and in terms of vectors they are simply along independent axes. As a final comment, from the angle in which you see the play in the dream, the Haruspex is in the right, the Changeling in the middle, and the Bachelor on the left. If I had to guess, the chairs would be distributed in the same way. I think that whether we are looking for meaning where there is none or not, it is a testament to the depth and attention to detail of Pathologic 2 that the community keeps finding these things and attributing meaning to them. It is likely that we have given meaning to things the devs didn't consider, and it is part of the game now.
I'm so confused. I gave the orders to the commander and they destroyed Polyheidron. I should get Good Ending (Diurnal Ending) but I got a Fellow Traveler (Bad Ending) ending. I don't know what I did wrong. I forgave Oyun. I saved the children. 4 or 5 people died. I don't know. By the way, when I took blood after Polyheidron was destroyed, the game froze there and the 12th day was written on the screen. The game wanted me to go to the Theatre. Can you explain?
@PixGame basically, after you die a certain number of times, the fellow traveler appears in the theatre and offers to remove all the handicaps in exchange for "something". this locks you into the traveler's ending
iirc if you die 7 times, the traveler offers a deal that removes the negative effects of dying in exchange for your final day. It locks you into that ending edit: whoops for some reason I didn't see that someone answered you until after I replied lol
The bit with the voices is super interesting!! I had never attempted talking with Isidor because i was afraid it would hurt grace more and i love her too much. Great video!!
