Hey mate good spot. It's an Evolution dust bag for a mitre saw. it's the only one ive found that actually fits. I will give you the link. this is an affiliate link just so you know. it won't cost you any extra, I just get a tiny bit of commission if one is purchased. I believe they sell them in screw fix too. but its apart of a kit. amzn.to/4dozidy
@@carrotcarpentry2914 no worries dude. The saw I’m using is a brushless 18v and fits it lovely. If you’re talking about the non brushless model. I’m pretty confident it would fit that one also. I will try and do a video of it for you potentially over the weekend if you like so you can see it up close.
Hi my fellow pasloadians. Have any of you tried making your own string of nails? What methods have you been using? Im thinking lay em down together aligned at the correct angle and run a small bead of silicone.
I’ve opened it up and looked at both the micro switches and the metal ‘band’ that pushes the top switch isn’t stuck in/on and it doesn’t seem to be broke/stuck in any way??
George, my ppn gun has the fan running constantly as soon as I connect the battery. I noticed the small black cable needs soldering on but connecting that by pushing it in makes no difference. Any ideas what else it could be?
The earth cable on the fan was also loose which you’ve mentioned in the video. The little black cable. Would that potentially be making it not fire and keeping the fan constantly on?
My lever feels like it just doesn't crank it in like it used to. I'd hate to send if off for repairs, but I'll try to get any dust out first and see if that helps. (Milwaukee oscillator)
Can I somehow get the blue cap off and use an old gas as a new contractor I'm subbying to only supplies the old gas and now I have ran out of 360xi gas what can I do?
yeah dude I believe you can, someone commented on here saying they had success using a screwdriver to pull off the blue cap. I have a feeling though the gun won't register the gas potentially. in which case there is a female end underneath the blue tab and you can just then refill it from the 350 gas. just remember to put the 360 gas you want to refill in freezer like I say in the video to top it up some more
@Georgous92 I've got to 360 xi guns but the new Co tractor I work for only supplies the fischer gas, just bought my self a 350 plus and now I've managed to get the blue cap off and it works in my gun it locks in but wobbles slightly
No need!... just swap the adaptors off of the top (the blue SERIES-i can be prised out carefully with a small flat screwdriver, so no need to damage by cutting it) - they are interchangeable 🙂 The blue SERIES-i also has a removable female adaptor with seals that can be used to transfer from/to other cylinders.
Hi George, I have the 350+ and it hasn’t had much use but every now and then when you shoot a nail it has a delayed noise from something being slower in the return. Sometimes will be a slight pop sound like an air lock? Just wandered if you have experienced this at all?
Hi yes, I have experienced something like that more commonly on the 350. I sometimes would have it if I was firing into something very dense. Could potentially be the reed valve needs a little clean from the build up of black carbon on it.
@@davidtate166 if they can fix it for that and you haven’t had to spend money on repairs all those years could be worth it. It sounds like it maybe the Roller switch at the back of the gun not connecting to the switch. What model is it?
Sounds like the switch isn’t being pressed which activates the spark. If you take the gun apart see if you can operate the two switches in the trigger assembly. It could be just a loose wire on the fan assembly not soldered in properly.
Hi George, i have an IM360Ci that isn't firing. I've stripped it down with the help of your video & none of the possible causes that you have identified seem to be the reason. Any other suggestions or possible reason of it please? Many thanks, Simon
I have exactly the same problem. Could you please tell me how to get to that page where you adjust the mac filtering ? I logged in my vodafone but can't find that. Typing that numbers on Top gets me nowhere.
On your router you should have a long number starting with something like 192. Type that into your address bar and it should bring up the router settings. I think there a qr code to scan which should bring it straight up.
MAC filtering was already disabled on my (2022) router: So no option to do that. I think I found the answer (worked for me anyway): 1. Login to 192.168.1.1 -> Under Sharing -> General settings -> Printers: Share All = [MAKE SURE THIS IS TOGGLED OFF] (I think if it is toggled ON, then the Router gives the Printer an IPAddress which is not in the subnet: 192.168.1.*** instead it will be 192.168.**.*** and therefore not listed as one of the wi-fi devices) 2. You can check the IPaddress of the Printer by printing out a page with all the settings: Click wifi button keep pressed until Power button flashes, then click wifi button again: This will print an information page: Verify you have a IP address listed and it has a value 192.168.1.*** 3. If your IPAddress is not 192.168.1.*** then you need to reset (a. Click wifi button keep pressed until Power button flashes, then: To connect to wifi (for using laptop for printing): click Black&White Button (or colour button for smart phone) then click wifi button, then when power button is 'flashing fast' click WPS button on Router until it’s light flashes (not just a tap), then you can wait (about 3 seconds more) for wifi button on printer to go solid blue. 4. Go back to steps: 1. & 2. again: The IPAddress should be: 192.168.1.*** now 5. Check that your printer is added by checking under: 192.168.1.1->Overview->Wi-Fi - You should see it listed as active and 6. Now you shoud be able to add the printer to your computer/smart phone. (Note: You may also need to restart your print spooler)
Can anyone help? I took the gun apart to clean it because it was so dirty (I just bought it used). When I put it back, the tip of the gun won't move up & down when I press it. What did I do wrong?
@@Georgous92 I have 900-420 & 404-400. The 900-420 is the one that the nose would not move up & down (move very little). I know I put it back correctly. The 404-400 nose is more simple with just 2 parts. Can I switch the nose between these 2 models? The 404-400 is not firing. When I removed the plastic handle apart into 2 pieces (like you did at 11:25), I pressed the switch, the fan is on & working. But when I put the plastic cover back, it does not work. I did not try your method yet (by adding plastic to the switch or cutting 1/2 of the plastic out as you explain in your video). Do I have to replace that part (what do you call it)? It does not make sense to me, it does not work when I put the handle cover back together.
@@Georgous92 I put the simple nose of 404-400 on the 900-420. Everything seems to be working fine but it won't shoot the nail. It works fine before I cleaned it. Now it won't shoot just like the 404-400.
It’s probably a build up of carbon on the reed valve it needs all the black to be cleaned off that should help. Either that or a new electro valve. Cleaning the reed valve is cheaper to try.
Finally someone who really knows there stuff. I have a im360ci and it’s showing a red light on the gas even tho the gas is full. Doesn’t happen all the time but enough to be very frustrating! So that would need a new antenna? Do you have a link?
Hi matey. I've got an older 350 after I cleaned it and changed the o ring it now makes a whiney buzzing noise when pushing down and doesnt fire. Have you any suggestions before I hand it in for repair. Thanks.
Just double check your fan blades. Could possibly be bent slightly that’s why it’s making the whiny noise. As for it not firing it sounds like it’s not sparking. Just check the wiring on the spark unit and there’s a little actuator switch inside the gun which hits the sparking switch when depressed. Just check the arm hasn’t snapped and it’s hitting the switch.
Nice !!! Fixed it boom 🎉. After I already assumed it was toast or at least gonna be out of commission till I had time to have it repaired. So of course my go to was run out and buy a better one lol. 🤷♂️ Hey now I got a Fein and a Makita. One for finish and one for demo a rough work. Anyway thanks for the video 💪🤙
My Black&Decker multi-evo circular saw attachment started rattling, break not stopping it automatically upon release, and the blade wiggles a bit after I let a friend make just a few rips with it. He's an amateur so I didn't want him using it but we were in a hurry and I needed to nail things together. Now he's not only mucked up my circular saw attachment but also bent a drill bit by not using the drill on the right settings and on full blast (he barely holds the trigger down while drilling holes). What might be wrong with the attachment? I wonder if I should try fixing it or just returning it to Costco.
For a simpler life I would probably try returning it if it’s still under warranty. As if you open it up and it goes wrong again later on they may not fix it as it’s been opened.
George a Paslode ppn35i positive placment gun firing no problem was green light but now orange light which is service light how to turn off orange light thanks
Normally you hold down the star button for 30 seconds to reset. But if it’s flashing red it can be a sign of a loose wire. Check the one to the antenna or electro valve. Also check the wire to the back of the fan it might need re soldering
@@Georgous92 the star button ?the trigger button or fan button ?I’ve serviced and cleaned orange button flashing wires look fine no antenna on the 35i just 1 led light
@@tim62744 the start button is where all the led lights are that tell you how much gas and battery power you have left. It should have an antenna. Watch the video from 7mins all the time stamps are in the description which describes different faults.
Thanks for sharing. I have the same tool, but where the blades have worked loose so often, it has now worn away the circle of small gripper bumps / nipples on the fixed collar. Any idea if that part is replaceable? Thanks in advance!
The best thing I could think of is getting a pair of big grips and try rotating the pin to see if that frees is up with maybe a spray of wd40. And if you have access to a bench vice maybe grip the pin in the vice and pull up with the multi tool if that makes sense?
I tried your tip (using expert mode to configure the Vodafone Hub), but MAC filtering was already disabled on my (2022) router Tried everything including connecting to the printer (HP Deskjet) direct via USB and telling it what router and password to use Still did not work. BUT then noticed that the Firewall in the router was enabled. Disabled the firewall and it connected OK Have re-enabled the Firewall and printer is it still connected and working Have not tried other option: disabling the Firewall connecting via WPS then re-enabling the Firewall but suspect that would work as well
Thanks for taking the time to put your troubleshooting methods on here. Glad to hear you managed to get it working as I know how frustrating it can be. When all you want to do is print something! Which is why I made the little video in the first place haha. Im sure you’re info will help some other people out on here too!
