Absolutely amazing tutorial, you explained everything super clearly and made it really easy for beginners (like me!) I was trying to make one for my Mum, but I didn't realise changing the yarn size (or weight I think it's called??) would affect the project so much lol 😆 When I try to wrap mine around twice, it looks like it will fit a newborn baby instead hahaha 🤪 So word of warning if you're a beginner like me!!! 🤣🤣Again, awesome tutorial and thank you so so much for explaining things so clearly!!! <3 <3 <3

Looks like a nice hat. Would have been good to see it on someone to see the fit.

I love this scarf. I've been looking for a stitch that would suit my needs. I just need a video to make the matching hat😊. Thanks for sharing.

One tip with long chains and to make sure it wont twist is: After a couple chains take your hook out, insert into the chain you will be slip stitching into (the first chain) then continue chaining until you are at the number needed and just pull your hook and working yarn through the first chain you've left your hook in. I hope this helps and makes sense I tried my best to explain! Happy crocheting! I love this piece by the way! Well done!

Thanks for making this great tutorial and making the pattern free! However, I feel like the camera didn’t really focus on the part you were crocheting and instead focused on the background so I had a hard time making sure what I was doing was exactly like what u did hahaha… but otherwise, great tutorial. Thanks!

Question. When you turn your work around and slip stitch into the first stitch..is that the same stitch as joining?

Thank-you so much for such a great, clear video. I was having problems ending the cluster row from a previous video I had watched & then I was so lucky to find your video. It all came clear.

Thanks for this tutorial. I am a small person and most shawls overwhelm me. Although they are beautiful, they're just way too big. I like this is customizable.

@croydencrochet

Yes absolutely! Just keep in mind if the yarn is a different weight, then original measurements will be off.

So on the third round do you slip stitch on the slip stitch of the prior row? And half double crochet on the hdc of prior round? Thats my confusion. Thanks I hope you can help me.

I just downloaded this pattern from your Etsy shop and now I’m glad I have this video to refer back to as I try this pattern. If I want to make this a lap blanket for a friend who is 6 feet tall how many chains across would I use?

I just finished making this for my mom for christmas this year! I only started crochet this summer and this was very easy to follow along. I think the hardest part was knowing exactly where to put the slipstitch at the end of each row. I think next time I might make it a tiny bit longer as well! It's a very pretty pattern, the baby pink yarn I chose looks great with it.
