Do you admins get paid by Hallmark? I know you split up the interviews but wondered if there is compensation? Maybe it’s a perk you get to go to all the reunions!
As a long time viewer since Season 1, I am so appreciative of the excellent writing in Season 10 and 11! The callbacks to other seasons were incredibly done. I loved these last two seasons because they were fresh but also felt like the series was similar to the best of the past seasons. You brought us such deep storylines, coupled and paired actors with incredible chemistry, feel good family stories that left us feeling joyful, in that special Hope Valley way! The series really feels like a new Era with infinite possibilities. Yes to new experiences and the comfort the residents of Hope Valley bring, in the day to day life at the school house, in their homes and in community! Yes to a beautiful new blended family who will navigate all the joys, adjustments and humor that comes with it. Yes to the community continuing to help, inspire, and be there for each other. Yes to all the depth of new storylines for the characters we love!
Best season ever! Nathan and Elizabeth make my heart sing, and that confession/kissing scene was the most romantic I have ever seen. Thank you for making everything right in HV.
It's fun going back and rewatching these interviews after the fact, after the upcoming season airs. Love how Kevin is so engaged in these interviews, and seems like he actually enjoys doing them!
I love Pascale as Rosemary brings such a breath of fresh air to the show. I enjoyed the mystery solving duo of Bill and Rosemary. What I would love to see more of are Elizabeth's students moving on and going to their next chapters. Some of these kids have been in school long enough and should be moved along.
I wonder if Jacks storyline might be he is being striped of his status because it was his fault for the mudslide and Elizabeth, Nathan and the group get into an investigation to restore Jacks name.
I recently became a Heartie and just binged watched all 11 seasons and then had to re-watch Elizabeth and Jacks journey. God what a love story, but I do love Nathan and Elizabeth.
They’ve been doing a lot of call backs lately. And if they are going to be set in Capital City, why not! I would be over the moon excited if they did that!!
In Season 12 I'd love to see Nathan and Elizabeth take the horses out for 'exercise' or just get out of Hope Valley town to see a bit of the beautiful scenery, like Elizabeth and Jack did.
Great job and interesting as always ladies! Hi Marg. Thought I'd attempt a response as to why a lot of Hearties want to see the Nathan and Elizabeth relationship move to an engagement and marriage (sooner than later anyway) instead of seeing more prolonged dating and romance. It's true that E & N haven't spent time as a couple on the show and there could be some interesting things to that. Obviously they have to get past whatever the cliffhanger entails. But Elizabeth has spent many seasons "courting". Granted it's been different men, but courting stories none-the-less. I think fans are just ready to move on from that scenario. I'm trying to remember when Lucas and Elizabeth spoke "I love you" to each other for the 1st time. Seems Elizabeth may have done that after Lucas had babysat Jack and was asleep on the sofa. And maybe Lucas said this to her for the 1st time when they were in his office and she was disappointed he hadn't given her an engagement ring for her birthday? Check me on that but I think it took a bit of time for them both. Nathan and Elizabeth have already said "I love you" to each other. I think that's worth noting. Basically Lucas and Elizabeth spent much of their dating days going about Hope Valley sharing smooches. 😂 Granted N & E showing their affection for each other in episode 12 was nice but I think fans are saying we don't need a whole season 12 and/or 13 of it to prove they're ready to get married. 😉 They know each other very well, the good and the bad, and love each other very much. I think the only point of prolonged dating would be if they were unsure of those two things. Just my two cents! Btw, not saying they should get engaged in episode 1 of season 12 but maybe half to 3/4 way thru? 😊
I wholeheartedly agree, and I feel like at this point we sound like a broken record. Wanting to see the Heroine of our favourite show in a mature married relationship should not be taken as contentious or a negative. We have watched her court for over a decade and I would have wanted to see this no matter who the suitor was. The fact that they are blending families it seems more important than ever. On a side note I do hope that Elizabeth returns to classroom, this is why I fell in love with WCTH and H.V. It really confuses me that there is little interaction between her and her students anymore. Dropping her students off for Henry to do gardening lesson was out of character. I hope they are able to fix the balance of relationships vs her duties as a teacher, perhaps the addition of Jack in the classroom will help.
@cathy1883 no, wanting to see Elizabeth married is wholly positive but wanting to see a proposal, wedding, pregnancy and birth in S12 seems to unduly rush matters. We want to get to know Nathan with Elizabeth and vice versa as it will build up and make the proposal, wedding and everything to come even more satisfying, at least to us. Think of how amazing it was when Lee shouted from that window that he and Rosie were going to be parents. It’s building the anticipation for this loving couple as opposed to ones before.
@@cathy1883 - I agree "The fact that they are blending families it seems more important than ever.". Without a marriage, there is no true blended family scenarios. At the end of the day, Nathan & Allie and Elizabeth & Jack will each return to separate homes and live their separate lives. Sad outcome for a couple who knows and loves each other so well as Nathan & Elizabeth.

Nathan & Elizabeth have gone the distance with trials and tribulations and yet, their friendship endured and they not only love each other....they are IN LOVE with each other. Furthermore, they both love Allie & Jack as their own. It's time for their wedding to happen, so they can deepen the level of unconditional love they share with each other both as marriage partners and as co-parents.
Agree with you Cathy!! E&N know each other so well and have declared their love. I see no reason to wait. Rosemary and Lee are the perfect example. They met and lightly courted in S2, first kiss in S3, the next 2 episodes they were engaged and the next 2 episodes they said “I do.” And the show has been sooooo much more fantastic since!!! I
Karen, bully for you! I and a few others have been saying the same thing about Jack being murdered! I agree with all of you that Season 12 be the season where Nathan and Elizabeth grow as a couple and a team. Let them, especially Nathan, be happy and in love and reveling in that. PDA’s with shocked townspeople would be amusing. An engagement, a wedding and babies can come in the not so distant future. You all covered a lot of what I have been thinking! Wow! I hope the writers are watching. It would be a great storyline if Jack was murdered because they thought he was Nathan. It would also give Nathan some exciting Mounty action, finally, going after the killer. Also, I can’t see Kayla Wallace returning. The girl has made it to the big time. Good for her!!
While the storyline could be interesting, I really hope the writers have something else in mind. If, by replacing Nathan, Jack was murdered by someone who was actually targeting Nathan, I can only imagine how Nathan would be wracked with survivor's guilt that I doubt he would ever overcome. It would also renew Elizabeth's grief over her late husband. Almost seven years post-death, Jack needs to be honored for the hero he was in life and allowed to RIP. As for Nathan & Elizabeth, - they need to be happy and in love with each other.
I think it would be interesting instead of a national park, build a hospital. It would create many jobs, solve Faith’s equipment struggles and may bring Carson back as a surgeon.
Hi ladies, I always enjoy your podcasts and I appreciate the conversations that you bring to the table. I’m curious why nearly all of you aren’t very confident of at least a proposal in S12 - if you recall, Jack was going to propose at the end of S2 and Lucas proposed at the end of S9 after Elizabeth picked him at the end of S8 (and that S8 moment didn’t have an extensive and heartfelt declaration of love as what happened in S11 between Elizabeth and Nathan). I guess my point is, the end of S12 would mean the same amount of time would have passed as with Elizabeth’s other pairings by the time they asked her to marry them. So it’s 100% conceivable that Nathan would propose. Nathan and Elizabeth as a married couple could and would have romance still; these are not mutually exclusive things. Having said that, I do trust the writers to give us a beautiful journey between Nathan and Elizabeth. Season 11 was so wonderful for them and there’s no reason to imagine they wouldn’t continue on that path. Whenever Nathan and Elizabeth marry, it would probably be after many more heartfelt moments that we will savor for a long time. 😊
Dawn gave it a high percentage of occurring. Others were less but mostly based on the late season 11 kiss, the thwarted proposal in season 1 and extended courtship in seasons 2-4 and the mention Brian Bird made of a touching, dramatic storyline.
I agree Anna's storyline was short. I don't understand bringing in an actor for such a brief amount of time to only serve that episode. Perhaps it's because there is a different writer for each episode and so it doesn't always flow and sometimes feels disjointed. As much and I like Mike and Mei I don't know why there was so much time dedicated to their love story and eventual marriage. I liked the storyline between Joseph and his brother but thought Minnie's speaking to her brother in law was a missed opportunity. I also found the repeat of Joseph asking what was the problem to his brother to get a response of if you don't know I'm not telling you, it felt like that took way to much time and in the end fell flat. I loved Faith and Lilly's story it was so sweet and just what was needed. I wish more time had been given to Rosemary and Bill to actually investigate. When we as an audience are told things but not shown then it feels like a let down. I really had hoped that Nathan and Elizabeth had been married this last season because the audience has not seen her married. Married to Jack for a short period of time is not the same thing. I don't want to see the Heroine of WCTH dating again. She is way beyond silly picnics and deserves to step into that next phase as does Nathan. I thought Jeanette was intriguing and the actor nailed it. I hope she returns. I think Lucas and Fiona would be great pairing, she's adventurous like him. Once again I hope to see Nathan married early next season and happy, what an incredible arc. PLEASE let Nathan and Elizabeth return to the cabin, hopefully there's another storm, this time more romantic.

I was someone that thought Bill and Rosemary will be investigating a case about Jack Thorton's death because it will come out something suspicious happened and it wasn't an accident that killed Jack. When Nathan was posted in Fort Clay, I tend to think Hargraves or some other dirty cops were involved in some shady crimminal things. Nathan didn't have the evidence, the proof gathered yet, but maybe he started to look for proof. Hargraves realized somehow Nathan was suspicious, so he found an excuse to get him transferred in order that Nathan wouldn't find the evidence needed to take to higher ranking honerable good mounties. So, he found a way for Nathan to not follow his orders. Then this got Nathan transferred to another post. Then Jack came to Fort Clay and eventually he got suspicious that Hargraves or some other cops were dirty. So, Jack actually found evidence and had proof of their crimes. He was going to take it to higher up honorable good mounties. However, Hargraves or another dirty cop found out Jack knew and killed Jack before he could. So, now Bill and Rosemary will solve this murder case involving the late Jack Thornton. The story Elizabeth was told that Jack died saving someone in a landslide or whatever it was is a lie. Jack was trying to catch dirty cops and bring them to justice.
@@LarryTonisRoberts I don't know if it was so much secret or just that some of the stuff he gets involved in he can't share with her as law enforcement Jack would see evil horrible crimes stuff you wouldn't want to burden your wife with, but yes cops can't talk about their cases with loved ones most of the time. However, some of what Jack worked on may have been secret cases he couldn't talk about.
@@LarryTonisRoberts I feel that if Nathan married Elizabeth he wouldn't want to burden Elizabeth with the work he deals with as some of the evil crimes he sees he probably wouldn't share with any of his loved ones. The only person I see Nathan opening up about a case with is his friend retired mountie Bill as there is a brotherhood in law enforcement. They tend to talk to each other when dealing with evils in the world and not burden their loved ones.
@@LarryTonisRoberts The only other person Nathan might talk to about the evils he sees in this world might be Pastor Joseph if he starts questioning his faith because he struggles with the issues with humanity because of a criminal case he is working on. The issues of good/evil and maybe he struggles with his Faith in God because of it.
It would be nice to see the people in town who are still invisible to us. For instance: the family dentist. Who is that? Wouldn't it be nice to see him (of her)? Where is the blacksmith? The women wore fabulous dresses in season 11. Where did they buy them? Maybe a new seamstress could come to town. New people can also become new love interests for some of Hope Valleys bachelors/bachelorettes. And what about new inventions of the time? Maybe the Coulters could get the first washing machine in town. Maybe the café could buy a refrigerator. And more fun, because a lot of the actors can really deliver hilarious comedic performances as well.
Didn’t the washing machine already come to Hope Valley ? Why am I remembering Florence & Molly around a washing machine with so many suds coming out& Bill walks in to give them his dirty laundry. Did this happen or am I dreaming ??lol

Yes! I too would like to meet the invisible people. I would also very much like a MAP of Hope Valley. I remember hearing someone saying that the inside of the dentist office is actually the set for Lucas’s office.
I see 100% chance they will marry season 12. Remember Erin said this is a mature, passionate relationship and they're not getting any younger. Plus I think they know how long we have waited for these two.
I would love if they got E & N engaged by mid season maybe a Christmas episode proposal and engagement and then E & N married by the last episode in S12. However, I really don't think there will be an E & N wedding in S12. However, I hope I'm wrong!
If they got married this season, I would be very glad. But, I doubt they will. I do believe 100% there will be a proposal. I can see them having a small simple family wedding this time. That may make it quicker.
@@AbigailPaige-is7zr I could see Elizabeth & Nathan having a quiet smile wedding. Nathan isn't a fan of crowds after all remember the Christmas festival & Nathan also not wanting a birthday party? So, yeah I can see Elizabeth & Nathan have a small wedding outside. I don't see it in the church that Jack built. So at Nathan & Elizabeth's wedding would be Allie & Jack Jr, Lee & Rosemary, Bill & Henry. Maybe if Hallmark & WCTH wanted to surprise us with a guest role for an episode Abigail. Then Pastor Joseph officiating. The other thing I could see is Elizabeth's & Nathan deciding they don't get enough alone time just the two of them. They decide to have a intimate personal time just the two of them where they elope saying their marriage vows to each other with Judge Bill Avery officiating. I could see this done in his judge's office or they all ride out to the spot where Nathan declared he was in love with Elizabeth the first time in S8. Then N & E met up in S10 asking how they both ended up there. Starting to have a conversation & then Bill rode up saying they needed to come with him. That's when we got S10's cliffhanger about Lucas.
The “miss” for me in Season 11 is about how far Capitol City is from Hope Valley. In Season 10 Episode 11, Bill says Capitol City is a 22 hour train ride from Hope Valley. Yet, Lee and Rosemary show up with Little Jack and Goldie while Lucas is still in the hospital. Then badly injured Lucas shows up in Hope Valley to recover and stays for months. Travel during that time period was difficult. Not to mention that the governor is away from the Capitol for so long, who is doing the governing? It just doesn’t seem believable to me.
@@janewilson2140 And not only that ,I found it strange that Bill travelled there to check out something about who shot Lucas. We saw him for a minute there & then he was right back in Hope Valley.But its22 hours each way.that didn’t make sense to me.
Yes, the railroad came to Hope Valley in Seasons 4 and was finalized in season 5. Remember when Cody made his speech about a man keeping his word? That was it.
Nathan may not like the idea of Allie dating either! 😂 I could see Nathan freaking out a little bit. I don't want Robert ot Cody for Allie to date though. I think at this point both of those young men are just Allie's friends. I would actually like Allie to meet someone completely new to HV though. That would make Nathan even more nervous. A new young man in the community he knows nothing about. I could see a story where this young man wants to date Allie and she is interested and Nathan as Allie's dad says no. She can only hang out with him in group settings with a bunch of friends because he doesn't know this young man and wants to get to know him better first and for Allie to get to know him better first as a friend. Then I could see Allie disobeying going off with this young man alone. Then Nathan is out in the community doing his rounds in HV and comes across them together. Allie is busted! 😂 I just think it can be more creative than just Robert or Cody!
I want Lucas to have a beautiful but obnoxious love interest that he brings back to Hope Valley. There have to be great stories that could come from that. Think Scarlet O’Hara.
I want to see a wedding! E &N have declared their love for each other, so I see no reason to play it slow anymore. They've had 5 years building a STRONG friendship and now an added of romance. Time for them to start their lives as one! But please, don't let their marriage end the show, we would all love to see them happily growing in their married life like the Coulters. But anyway, great job to the directors and writers! This was a terrific season! The best yet? And I bet next will be even better!!
I loved the Higgins episode it was so good. I want to see Elizabeth and Nathan married first before anything else. However, I wouldn't mind in they finish the Higgins sexual harassment case with a trial. We still have questions that are unanswered that the writers could answer. The mounties could finish their investigation into Higgins. We can find out how much evidence they had against Higgins in S4. Did the mounties have any evidence or did they not have anything? Did the women just not want to press charges? Elizabeth confronted Higgins with Abigail. Jack had to leave out of town on a case he was working on so he didn't go with her. Then Elizabeth was able to get her job back when she presented proof letter(s) that Higgins did this to other teachers to then mayor Henry Gowen. Then when Jack got back to HV he knew about Higgins, why didn't Jack investigate Higgins further? Did the mounties just not have enough proof or did Jack not investigate because when he came back to HV he got news about his friend, Doug dying in the war? So, then Jack wasn't thinking clearly as a lawman because he was grieving the death of his friend. Then Jack struggled with the decision to go fight in the northern territories. Jack eventually left to go to the war and fight in the northern territories. Once Jack came home from the war, he was messed up. He had some anger issues because of the war. Bill had to call him out on it. After some healing hapoened then eventually Jack decided to move on with his future and marry Elizabeth. Shortly afterwards Jack left HV getting stationed at Fort Clay. So, Higgins never got investigated by Jack or any other mounties in S4 or S5. Jack ended up dying at his post in Fort Clay in S5. So yes this story can be completed with evidence the mounties have on Higgins from the past seasons up until S11. This evidence will be brought out in trail against Higgins in a future season. All the female student-teachers, female teachers, Elizabeth, Nathan, and maybe even Henry Gowen can testify at Higgins trial since Henry was mayor in S4 and may still have the letter(s) proving Higgins crimes. I think this could be a strong, deep emotional experience for Elizabeth with Nathan supporting her. I could see the writers finishing this story because Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry do the solid, strong, deep emotional storylines so well. So, maybe it will happen in a future season. However, like I said if they do this story Nathan and Elizabeth better be married first!
I have been rewatching older seasons, and I must say that season 11 tops them all! Kudos to the writers and the actors! This show just keeps getting better and better!!
This was so cool! I loved seeing the photos from set. I haven't paid too much attention to it before but definitely will now! These chats make watching the show even more fun!
Thank you WCTH team for a brilliant S11 - one of my favourites. This Aussie Heartie is very very happy. Felt like it was back to its origins - great stories, love, community, family, intrigue and of course humour (especially from Rosemary). What would I love to see in S12? A scene that I've been imagining (which I shared on the Hearties FB page), and which could happen early in S12: Another family dinner with Nathan & Ally over at Elizabeth and Jack's house. There is chatter about the day, friendly banter and plenty of laughter and groans at Nathan's dad jokes. Ally rolls her eyes and says, ‘dad you really need some new material’. The dinner ends and while Nathan and Elizabeth clear the table, Jack wanders off to the little table where the photos of his dad sit. He stands quietly staring at his dad. Ally notices and walks over. She crouches down and asks Jack ‘hey Jack watchya doing?’. Jack shrugs and says, ‘just looking’ then turns to Ally and says quietly ‘my dad is in heaven’. Ally’s eyes well up. She puts her hand on his shoulder and says ‘yes, I’m sorry. You know my mom is in heaven too’. Jack looks at her and then his face lights up a little and he says ‘hey, I know, you can share my mom’. Ally beams… ‘and you can share my dad’. Nathan and Elizabeth have been watching and listening. They look at each other and smile and Nathan draws her into an embrace.
