We waited five years for Jack & Elizabeth to get married...and then BAM! We lost Jack without seeing them as a married couple! We want to see N & E as a married couple and a blended family!

It’s time for Nathan and Elizabeth to get married. They have known each other for 6 years and there’s no reason to wait any longer. Marrying the lead couple is absolutely not going to spell the end of the show, but rather will bring it into a wonderful new era.

Thank you so much for the breath of fresh air this season! Please don't take several seasons to have E and Nathan marry! They already know each other well AND we want Alley to have a Mom before she graduates! Please let them get married in season 12!

First of all I want to say thank you to Lindsay for saving this series and getting it back on track! Wish list: 1.Nathan/Elizabeth wedding in season 12 2. A new love for Lucas as he climbs out of the trouble because of Jeanette 3. More mystery! Bill and Rosemary make great partners is crime solving! 4. MANY more seasons!

I want to see Nathan and Elizabeth with their blended family with Jack and Nathan bonding and Elizabeth and Allie bonding further. And Nathan and Elizabeth having a child together! Watching Nathan experiencing that would be wonderful!

Wish list ❤ 1. A Christmas wedding for Nathan and Elizabeth . Please don’t make us wait longer for this family. Bring back Abigail for the wedding or even the season. 2. Rosemary and Elizabeth expecting together in the future 3. More Mountie action , being a hero looks good on Nathan and Bill 4. More interactions with the main cast together . Probably not easy to shoot but always fun to see them all together

Kevin and Erin’s chemistry isn’t going to change simply because Nathan and Elizabeth get married. Romance continues after marriage too. We’ve waited 6+ seasons now to see Nathan and Elizabeth together. They know each other well and are in love. Their kids support it. Time for new storytelling. Let’s see blended family stories and Nathan and Elizabeth growing their family. I promise you the fans you just brought back aren’t going anywhere if you marry them.

Beautiful Season, but I think the Hearties are ready to see Elizabeth married. It’s time..soon rather than later. We have never seen her in married life truly, and for Nathan and Elizabeth to be so in love with a mature relationship..it’s perfect. We absolutely will still tune every Sunday .#GrantUsAMarriage

Season 11 was outstanding! The best season ever! My biggest hope for season 12 is that Nathan Elizabeth get married sooner rather than later. There are so many wonderful stories to tell as a married couple.

Not gonna lie, but this 63 year old Heartie enjoyed the Nathan beefcake scene. Nothing wrong with getting our Heartie hearts racing here and there lol!!

Great jobs admins! If you are relaying Wishlists, here is mine: 1.) Grant Wedding. I know BB likes a slow burn, but when you find your Soulmate, why wait. Elizabeth in the role as a wife and mother would be amazing to see as soon as possible. Plus Jack and Allie as siblings before she graduates and becomes an adult would be beautiful too. 2.) Lucas in the political role gave so much depth this season. I would love to see more of Henry and him working together. 3.) Nathan’s momma. I always imagined her to be such a sweet and warm woman. Jack and Lucas’ mothers were intimidating to Elizabeth. I would love for Elizabeth not to feel that way about Nathan’s mom..but someone she immediately gets a warm motherly figure from. ♥️ Thank you WCTH team!

Great interview! We love the Nathan and Elizabeth pairing, but we would love to see them married and it not take another 5 seasons because we would also love to see them have a baby together! Thank you Lindsay for the wonderful stories you have brought to us these past 2 seasons. We are looking forward to many more.

The Mr. Higgins episode was soooo good as well! Loved seeing Nathan supporting Elizabeth and her resting her head on his shoulder.

Please let us see them engaged and married sooner than later, as it would be wonderful to have some family storylines before Allie graduates! A new baby Grant would also be amazing.

Lindsay, Congratulations to you and team on perhaps the best season of WCTH. Beautifully woven stories with a bit of mystery and intrigue to keep us on the edge of our seats. There was a lightness to this season that truly kept us tuned in each week. Fantastic performances across the board… I dare say they’ve never been better. The cinematography was beautiful and HV genuinely looked fresh and new. Loved all the call backs and bringing past stories forward… trust me we noticed them. I’m going to echo what many are saying. Please don’t be afraid to marry Elizabeth & Nathan sooner rather than later in season 12. We’ve seen our heroine married with her husband in exactly 1 full episode in 122 episodes (this is less than one percent). It’s time to let her experience married life and the infinite possibilities that come with it. The Hearties want to see the blended family before it’s too late. Elizabeth and Nathan have been wonderful single parents, but it’s clear after s11 the kids need both parents and N&E truly need each other. Allie needs a mom more now than ever as she navigates life from a teen to a young woman. Jack needs a dad as he is growing into a young man. Also please don’t wait until the end of the season, because we’ll miss out on watching them navigate combining two homes into one and the fun moments that can come from that. Give us family games, book reading, camping, chores, horseback riding, singing. Give us N&E adjusting to married life, give them challenges to face together, let them work as a team which they do so well, heck let them do the dishes together-we’ll watch that all day, everyday. Oh and can we request some wood chopping. I think y’all know you have lightening in a bottle with Erin and Kevin… and as it was so well said in e12… they definitely aren’t “boring” and the ratings have proved and will continue to prove that. Additionally, loved the Bill and RM pairing and Faith with Lily. Loved the dynamic with Lucas and Henry, so fun to watch. The Jeanette storyline really added some new edge that kept people guessing, and reminded us that people aren’t perfect and in HV there is always opportunity for redemption. We love E in the classroom and yes we love our Mountie action too. And please never lose sight of the stories of faith which have always been the running theme in Janette Oke’s stories of the teacher and the Mountie. Thank you again for an amazing s11 and best wishes on s12.

Here’s some of my wishlist: This might sound odd but I would love to see Nathan visit Jack’s grave and have a “conversation” (albeit one-sided) and officially come to terms with everything. I can picture Nathan in his serge saluting. I watched my military brother salute my military grandfather at the cemetery and it has always stuck with me. Maybe the whole family could visit together too (Elizabeth, Nathan, and the children), creating a beautiful blended family who keeps Jack’s memory alive. Also, we haven’t had the opportunity to see Elizabeth as a married woman and I can’t wait to see what that looks like for her. Hopefully, it comes soon! Let’s see a small, intimate ceremony (seems fitting for the characters) and her being carried over the threshold this time! As a busy mom of 5 of our own, I imagine stories where everyone is looking for their own space and two busy, tired parents are trying not to lose the romance while attempting to find time away from kids (much like we’ve already seen with these characters). Parents, you know how it goes. You just cuddle up on the couch and suddenly little faces appear. Lol And do the Grants stay in the row house or do they embark on an exciting journey to build their own home with more space? That would be cool! It would also be really awesome to see Elizabeth and Nathan welcome their own child. I can imagine so many humorous and heartfelt storylines! I especially would love to see Elizabeth pregnant but this time having the love and support of her husband. And Nathan finding out that he’s going to be a dad would be amazing. It would be a very different experience for them. Hormones, cravings, etc and everything pregnancy entails would make such great stories! Seeing Elizabeth and Rosemary pregnant together would be really neat and also such a hoot! Then there’s the added component of Little Jack becoming a big brother and all the stories that goes with that, Allie growing up, etc. So many possibilities! I’m hoping Abigail comes back along with other past characters, and for some reason Lucas and Fiona have always seemed like a good fit to me. Maybe Scout needs a storyline. He helps sniff out a notorious gangster or saves someone’s life. Ha! Ah! I could go on and on! The possibilities are endless on a show like this. I hope this show keeps going for years to come! Its actors, characters, writers, and stories have been such a blessing to so many. Brian and Lindsay, you have brought us all such a gift! God bless you!

What an amazing season! Season 11 was just wonderful! Nathan and Elizabeth are just mesmerizing! I cant get enough of them. They literally speak to each other with their eyes. The chemistry of these two is off the charts. Im so happy they are finally together. I grew up watching Little house on the prairie. I would come home from school everyday and could not wait to watch. My point here is that Charles and Caroline Ingalls were of course married and I have to say that there was wonderful story after story. I never got bored and still watch it to this day. Please dont think that just because Elizabeth gets married that we will not watch. We long for the blended stories. It seems like all this woman has done is date or be alone. Give her the family she and Nathan deserve and show us how they grow together as a family. The blended family stories are what we want to see. Show us Allie falling in love and Nathan not handling it well 😂 and Nathan visiting Jack's grave and telling Jack how much he loves them and will take care of them and please end the Hargraves story. Let Nathan get closure for his guilt over Jack and maybe that Hargraves was the one involved. Lucas falling in love and I would love to see Faith with Tom. These are the stories we long to see.

Hi Lindsay. I have been waiting since we saw it taken... A callback of "The Keeper!". That picture Carson took of N and E could be a fun side story if perhaps a mountie had it all this time. 😜 Hopeful for a wedding in S 12. Ready for a Grant family. ♥️

Lindsay (and the whole writing team), you gave us such a great gift in season 10 and 11. THANK YOU!!! It was wonderful to finally see our beloved heroine overcome her fear, realize she had been running from the truth, and then finally tell Nathan she was and is in love with him. ❤ Season 1 had always been my favorite until now. Season 11 is now my favorite season! As for what I (and I know many others) would love to see moving forward, we really want to see Nathan, Elizabeth, Allie, and Jack be a blended family! We would really love for Nathan and Elizabeth to get married sooner rather than later (please at least by halfway through season 12?), and then a baby on the way! I know babies can be complicated on set, but these are definitely the wishes for many of us. We have never really been able to see Elizabeth navigate married life (for more than about a week). It’s time. And we want to see Elizabeth and Allie as mom and daughter before she graduates which we know has to be coming soon. Marriage for the heroine absolutely does NOT mean the end of the show. It’s something we’ve been waiting for forever! And we know our amazing writing team can handle it! Because you all are THE BEST!!! We would love to see this show go on for generations! ❤

I love what Lindsay and the writers gave us this year. And I’m glad there wasn’t a wedding for Elizabeth and Nathan this season. I understand taking time to sort things out, but the stories won’t end if they marry, and I think it would be hard for Nathan to keep waiting and waiting to get married. Give us at least the promise of a future wedding next year please! To be honest, I lost interest in season three when it was taking so long for the relationship with Jack. I didn’t start watching again until six and had to go back to fill in the missing parts. I don’t want to lose interest again because the relationship is stalling.

Season 11 was the best one! I agree with most though would like a wedding next season. We’ve seen 11 years of Elizabeth and only a few as a married woman, time for new storylines with blended family. ❤

Nice interview! Lindsay, thank you for the beautiful, heartwarming, and interesting stories. I appreciate you and your team! S11 was unique and enjoyable. Brian Bird, as you know, marriage is an exciting destination, but also a deep and rich journey. There are shared sorrows and joys. There is no need to shy away from it in a series. Here is my wishlist: 1. Elizabeth and Nathan marry very early in the season in a quick ceremony in Bill's office. Kids and Rosemary/Lee are present. Kids are officially adopted. Why deprive Allie of a mom and Jack of a dad even longer? Hallmark, marrying the lead couple is outside the box thinking and has not been done before. 2. I would like the deleted scene of Nathan and Little Jack discussing where they stand with Elizabeth to be put back in. It would have been an important scene. 3. A Grant baby. Think: Yours, Mine, and Ours. 4. Blended family stories. Among them, a duet by Elizabeth and Nathan. Also, the family singing together would be delightful. 5. If Fiona is able to return from TN, let her go work for Lucas. Then let the romantic sparks fly. Her personality would be challenging to and supportive of Lucas. 6. Can Tom head up national park planning as his new job and seek out Faith/Lily? It would be nice to see Faith succeed in a romance with a wonderful man. 7. Can we see Faith being a doctor and working with patients? Maybe Elizabeth has a high risk pregnancy with some complications. 8. Apple juice scene 3.0. Erin and Kevin are phenomenal scene partners, and they can bring a range of emotions and depth to a single scene. 9. More of: Deep stories with Allie. Maybe one involving Elizabeth? More Mountie work and action with Nathan, Bill and Rosemary working together. E11 was my favorite of the series. I have watched it over and over. E 6, 9, 10 were my favorite episodes of the season. I loved the depth and would like more episodes similar to these with Nathan and Elizabeth working together as husband/wife, supporting and encouraging. Thank you, Lindsay, for all your efforts! They are greatly appreciated!

We never got to see her during married life with Jack and would love to see her and Nathan and all the family stories with them. I would also like to see Bill find love. And maybe have him and Rosemary open up an investigator service. That would be fun! And maybe have Tom come back and put him with Faith? Thank you!

Thank you for such an incredible season 11. I feel like Elizabeth is finally herself again for the first time since Jack died. As many have said, I'm not really interested in more courting for Elizabeth. I want to see her and Nathan married and getting to actually live out life together, basically what we didn't get to see with Jack and what Elizabeth didn't know if she'd ever get when he passed. I want to see the bonds between Nathan & LJ and Elizabeth & Allie growing even stronger and eventually a little sibling for them both. E&N deserve to get to raise a child together happily from the very beginning. She never even got to tell Jack they were expecting! Those are the moments I want to see. I'd also love to see Abigail back and how her story with Henry could develop. I absolutely love Henry's redemption arc and everything you've been doing with his character! Definitelu all for Henry 😀 I also look forward to Lucas's hero's journey continuing and him getting back on his feet stronger than ever.

I am so here for Nathan and Elizabeth relationship development, but I agree with others that what we haven’t seen on WCTH is Elizabeth married and living a married and family life and the challenges that brings. I am hoping we get to see a sibling(s) for Allie and LJ in the future. ❤

Thank you for stories of substance, depth and great messages. Please continue to tell stories that grow each character and that are true to who the character is as a person. Would love to see more interaction between Nathan and Jack and Elizabeth and Allie. Also more of who Nathan and Elizabeth are in the town both individually and together, with romance as well. Would like to get back to more Mountie action for Nathan and see Nathan and Bill together again. Keep telling the family stories and give us more teacher / student moments. The HV kids are awesome!! Jaeda was fantastic and I would love to see her story continue as she faces challenges growing up. I do think Nathan and Elizabeth should marry…they know each other well and in a sense have already been working as a couple in S11. They have children already and would love to see them all together. With how S11 ended with their romance and passion it makes sense to move them to marry sooner than later. Thank you Lindsay and the writing team for the beautiful stories in S10 and S11!

I loved S11, of WCTH. Thank you Lindsey for the wonderful way you have brought this show back to one I have always loved. Jack and Elizabeth didn’t get their married life, because Daniel left. I had no idea, ( wasn’t following on SM) that Daniel was leaving the show. So when he was killed, I was so shocked and sad. But I kept watching. Nathan and Elizabeth have known each for years, and loved each for a long time. We the fans want to see them married and sharing their lives with Allie and Jack, and a new addition, need more babies in Hope Valley. Kevin and Erin, portray these two so well, please give us a marriage between Nathan and Elizabeth, we’ve waited so long.

Lindsay, I would love to see a Nathan & Elizabeth wedding next season. You’ve done a beautiful job telling their love story that I have full faith that you can tell an incredible married blended family story. I’d love to see a little awkwardness between them & missteps as two people who have been single for decades find their way together as husband & wife. Single parents learning to co-parent under one roof would be full of storylines & drama. I’d like to see domestic Nathan (he’s washed a lot more dishes than most men in HV I expect!) Will Elizabeth expect that? Will she know how to navigate two more kitchen helpers? Will Allie get some relief she didn’t know she needed to just be a kid? I imagine there will be a bunch of overlap between chores Allie had and Elizabeth had. I hope we can also see more Mountie action for Nathan. (Please bring in RJ Hatanaka from WHC for a guest appearance & as a best man for Nathan!!) How does Elizabeth respond to Nathan going on mission? How does that change the relationship for Allie and Elizabeth to have each other instead of wait alone? Can we please see some Christmas moments & N&E singing Christmas carol lullabies by the fire? I’d love to see a dirty Mounties storyline with Hargreaves behind it hopefully cleaning up the Ft Clay storyline once and for all. I’ve got hopes. 😂 Can’t wait for s12.

I loved this season. It truly did feel like home. Thank you all for bringing us such wonderful stories. And, because you asked, What I would like to see in S12 is Elizabeth settled down. Her single/dating life is getting a bit stretched. Something new for her would be married.

Kudos on the most wonderful season! I saw so so many answers along the way to fan wishes-father daughter singing, the choir, blended family moments… My wish is for more blended family, more father-daughter moments (or E and Allie/N and Jack Jr). I would be fine with an E&N elopement because that or a small justice of the peace service would be realistic for their situation. In that time single parents needed to get married quickly to survive. I would love for Tom Thornton to spend time in HV with Faith. Bill and Nathan, team Gravery is always great, so more please:). Very good interview, I always enjoy hearing from Lindsay. She always has a contagious smile & I liked hearing how excited both her & Brian are about S12. Some things I'd like to see on the show going forward/wish list is 1. I echo the words of other fans- would love to see N&E married. They have built a years long, very close relationship that they are now embracing fully without reservation. I would like to see them work through this cliff hanger about J together & see them come through stronger because of it. That on the otherside of that N&E enjoy alittle more time as a couple & with A&J throughout S12. Then see them realize that they don't need to wait anymore & decide to get married so they can be one family. I'm hoping that the writers would consider that to happen sooner rather than seasons down the road. Along with that, I would be ecstatic if the keeper photo or plaque were to come back. Especially the confetti star- I think N could incorporate that somehow when proposing to E. One thing that could be a fun activity to do as a family in the future is a camping trip for them. 2. I would like to learn more about Nathan. Maybe some personal interests like more guitar moments. I enjoyed the stunt work in ep 11 & would love more mountie scenes with B or even have Mountie Gabe guest star. B's investigative work alongside R was fantastic & that scene with B studying the crime scene was well done. 3. Tom Thornton! It was his storyline along with F&L that I just absolutely adored. Tom Thornton is the character I didn't know I needed this season & I would love for him to come back. He was exciting, kindhearted, & I think has lots of potential for the show. That early morning scene with him sitting outside, while the laundry on the line floated in the breeze was an incredible camera shot. 4. More music, I enjoyed the festival in 8. The barbershop quartet at the dance was such a great added touch to that ep. We also never got R a theater but a play put on by the town could be fun. 5. I also hope we keep having such great family moments with Newton, Sargent, Pal, & Scout. They add such a great Thornton-Grant family connection. 6.Also probably the most important thing of all is to keep getting all these wonderful storylines that the writers team & those involved have given us. Season 11 has really been superb & I feel the show has really upped its game. The cinematography & all the new fresh camera angles we've seen has really enhanced the show. It really did expand our view of HV. I'm really looking forward to 12 & more seasons to come.❤

My Season 12 wish list is similar to many other lists: 1. Nathan & Elizabeth wedding and baby on the way. In this era, couples married and lived their lives together, including raising more children. Season 11 was beautiful and so appreciated in every way. It has been replaced as my favourite season. That said, it is not realistic to have Nathan and/or Elizabeth sharing deeply romantic kisses with each other (obviously so deeply in love with each other) and yet remain unmarried. At this stage of their relationship, N&E should be married, living together and sharing a room....NOT living apart and having to knock on each other's door to say "good morning" and kiss. ***The couple that SHOULD still be dating and getting to know each other better, just got married in the finale. How is that right?*** 2. Return of Tom Thornton - The presence of Tom could be a permanent (but subtle) reminder of Jack. He would have stories to share with Jack, Jr about his father, that not even Elizabeth would know about (much like Nathan's father shared "Colleen stories" with Allie). He could find a good job locally and perhaps be paired up with Faith (and Lily)? 3. A move for both The Grants and The Coulters - they both can build reasonably sized homes and still be neighbours. 4. More of Nathan & Bill working together (include RM - they made a great team!) 5. FINALLY, one thing I have not seen mentioned on any other wish list, is something that potentially could mean a lot to Canadian viewers (and would cost nothing to do). Please consider referencing CANADIAN cities (other than Hamilton) instead of people always coming from or going to US cities. After all, the show is supposed to take place in CANADA. EXAMPLE: It has already been suggested that Angela is considering school - in Hamilton (which is so far away). Perhaps she can find a suitable Teacher's College for the Visually Impaired located in the Province of Alberta (and closer to home in Hope Valley)? Perhaps people travel to HV from Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, or Vancouver to see the new National Park? Maybe Nathan & Elizabeth go to Niagara Falls, Ontario on their honeymoon???? They could leave their children with the Thatcher grandparents in Hamilton, as Niagara Falls is a short distance away. There was a missed opportunity to have Lucas come from Quebec (where French is spoken). Perhaps his new love interest could come from there and that could be the start of their connection? The scenarios are really as endless as the storylines you tell. NOTE: To my recollection, not since Season 1 - A Telling Silence has a Canadian city (other than Hamilton) been referenced. (Mountie Jack mentioned Medicine Hat at that time). It is too late to correct the political terminology, but it is not too late to show off Canada in other ways. As it stands right now, the only truly Canadian thing about When Calls the Heart is our beloved Mountie! Thank you so much @Lindsay.Sturman for the great season. I loved in S10-11 the scenes of Elizabeth visiting Jack's grave - we got insight into where her head & heart were at as well as it seemed like an important step in her grieving journey. It respects Jack's place in her story and keeps his memory alive. In S12, or at least sometime before or after Nathan proposes (whenever that happens!), it would be beautiful and powerful, I think, to have Nathan visit Jack's grave similarly (either with Elizabeth or alone - maybe she introduces them, then leaves to let N say what he needs to privately). Not exactly like asking a father for his daughter's hand but I envision something along the same lines of showing respect to the man who knew and loved her first. Nathan could visit in uniform, offer a salute, one Mountie to another. He could thank Jack for protecting and loving Elizabeth first as well as for indirectly bringing Nathan & Elizabeth together. MOST importantly, he could promise Jack to protect & love Elizabeth and their son the rest of his life the way Jack would have if he could. As exemplary Mounties who both fell in love with the same woman, Jack & Nathan have a lot in common (as Tom said in S11). Now that Nathan & Elizabeth are finally together, especially if they ARE "endgame," I just feel like there are a number of important things Nathan would have to say to Jack if he could, and that would be beautiful to see.

I love how cute and playful Nathan and Elizabeth are. I would love to see that dynamic continue I know everyone wants to see Nathan and Little Jack develop a closer relationship, but I also think Allie needs a mother. I would love to see Elizabeth help her navigate through her later teenage years, and decide where she wants to go or what she wants to do. Woman to woman. Once we officially get a blended family, I think an adoption would be cool too. Taking the time to develop these stories in my personal opinion just means we get to get more excited about what’s to come. If Little Jack is supposed to go to school in season 12, it would be cool if he the challenge of seeing “Mama” but is reminded of how when he’s in school, she’s still the Teacher, and not just her son anymore. And please, can we get one picnic with Nathan and Elizabeth by themselves😂

I'll just confirm what's already been said. Thank you for a great season, certainly one of the best! Hope Valley has found its soul again, the romance/humor/mystery balance was spot on. Best wishes for S12: Like many, I'm tired of courtship, dating for E, it's been almost 11 seasons. It's time to give us a nice blended family story (with ups and downs), don't wait, Allie is almost too old for that. There are enough single characters left for the budding romance. I'd like more scenes at school. More family moments, with interactions with their children but also N &LJ or E &A. I'd like to see Rosemary and Bill again, but with a slightly deeper investigation, to see them in action. I'm hoping for some nice, moving stories, like Higgings or Allie's. They make for great scenes and performances. I want more real conversations between N&E, that's what I missed in the slow burn, not the kisses but their deep connection. I'd prefer fewer but more deeply developed storylines, a more even pace throughout the season, the first 5 episodes seem slow then the last ones precipitated. All the storylines were good in S11, but they often left me with an aftertaste of "not enough", too superficial.

I want to see little Jack, while walking with Nathan, say to Elizabeth "Take a walk with us". I think it would be a beautiful full circle moment. I would also like to see Nathan and Elizabeth go to the Mountie Ball because she never got to go with Jack. I also hope there are some good mom/daughter things with Elizabeth and Allie....we saw Nathan and Jack with the riding lessons which was adorable.

I sure hope we don't have to wait too long for Nathan and Elizabeth to get married! The 'slow burn' does not need to continue. In their case there are so many stories about married life and blending 2 families that could be told, so why wait?

Thank you for a wonderful season 11 ❤️ To be honest I only have one wish for season 12 (the rest I leave up to the talented writers): I WISH THAT NATHAN AND ELIZABETH WILL GET MARRIED IN SEASON 12 🥰❤️ Here are some of my reasons for wanting this: - We have waited long enough. This has been a love story 6 years in the making. There’s no need to drag it out more. Nathan and Elizabeth have loved each other for a long time. They don’t need to date to get to know each other. They already know each other way better than Mike and Mei did when they got married. Let other characters, like Lucas or Faith, do the dating. - Married life is romantic. Elizabeth has essentially been dating for 11 years. It would be nice to see her married for more than one episode. Married life with N and E would not be boring, they would bring the romance and passion in their married life. - The blended family. The blended family would provide endless possibilities for great storytelling, stories that haven’t been told on WCTH before. - Allie needs a mom. It would be nice for Allie to experience having a mother and little brother. She is getting older, and will soon graduate and move away from home. I would love to see them as a family of four while Allie is still at home. - Jack needs a dad. Jack has never experienced having a father in his life, and Nathan would be an amazing dad for him. - It would not be realistic for Nathan and Elizabeth to have a long courtship. They have loved each other for a long time, but pent up their feelings. Now that they are free to express these feelings they can’t stop kissing and touching each other. In real life that would lead to a quick marriage, because of the desire to be together as a husband and wife. - The Hearties are not getting any younger. This might sound a little harsh, but a lot of the hearties are elderly people. They have already waited 6 years for N and E to get together, and want to see them get married before they die.

Since Nathan and Elizabeth are older and more mature now, I hope you get them married sooner.

N/E wedding early/mid season so we get lots of blended family stuff. To see N/E conquer everything together. I'd love to see Tom Thornton move to town! Rosemary and Bill partner up more even though I don't want them to have a reason to 😅 More spoken I love yous between N/E. Actions are louder than words but the words are powerful ❤️

I loved the surprise of both Bill & Rosemary's relationship and Faith & Lily, I only wish they had more air time. There's definitely a consensus amongst us who love the N&E pairing that the last thing we want to see is them dating. I personally do not wish to see Elizabeth being courted anymore, respectfully it feels silly at this point. I am hoping to see Nathan being a Mountie. I also hope that Elizabeth returns to the classroom. I am excited to see Lee in Capital City with Lucas, I think that will be interesting.

The call backs were amazing this year! It really is something that sets this show apart. How it can use its rich history to elevate its storytelling. So few shows can do that!! As for my list: 😉 Id love to see how Elizabeth snd Nathan react to Little Jack being in danger - like he gets lost or something. I think facing that together could really strengthen their relationship and lead to some amazing heartfelt moments. Id be interested in seeing some conflict between Little Jack and Allie, snd how N snd E co-parent through that. More returning visitors would be amazing. Or getting to meet Nathan's mom. Kevin McGarry had a great idea to bring in the Constable Gabriel from WHC. Having Hargreaves exposed as a crooked mountie would also be so cool!

A friend mentioned this idea to me today.... What if instead of a National Park, a hospital!! It would create jobs for the towns and people wouldn't have to take a big risk by going far away to Union City. It would solve Faith's expenses on the x-rays and equipment and might one day leave an opening for Dr. Carson Shepherd to come back as a surgeon. It would help succeed in the growth of the town too! I would love to see N and E married or at least engaged by the end of season 12. Marriage maybe in 13 if we are lucky enough to get a season 13 and then baby grant shortly after that so they can have a real true blended family. Romantic stuff can still happen as a married couple.

I would definitely love to see Nathan and Elizabeth get married... SOON! Elizabeth sister's Julie was always a favorite of mine, so I would love to see her return for as visit... as well as Cody!

I want a Mountie Dress Ball for Nathan and Elizabeth.

I think the show has made the right decision already as you can see in the ratings. N&E know each other well. We do not need to wait years for her to get married. She has been single longer than she has ever been married. She needs this strong mountie who is always going to protect her. I want to see a family. I’m 2000% over the slow burn and feel these stories can be told in a marriage. I would like to see N try his hand at farming. Have at least a nice garden with turnips and potatoes. A place for horses. Land near town to do these things and out of the row houses. & Contracts to keep actors so they don’t leave the show. E wins for the longest woman to ever date in TV history, that story is old. Let’s move on to families, holidays, & family traditions. LJ needs a dad & Allie needs a mom.

Nathan and Elizabeth wedding! No need to drag it out! Also bring Abigail back if possible! Would love to see more of Faith and Lily and a love interest for Faith! More of the Hickams! Jack starting school! Love interest for Allie! Watching Nathan grapple with that would be funny! Lee and Rosemary are always entertaining! So many possibilities LONG into the future! Molly could use a good story!

I kept hoping to see the Emerson plaque come back in S11. Perhaps the writers may still find a way for it to in S12. It has been Elizabeth's arc since Nathan gifted it to her. I'd love it to have a prominent place in their future home. Nathan and Elizabeth know each other very well, Allie is nearing graduation, and I want to see them marry sooner than later. There is so much love that can be expressed within their marriage. Dating, and especially in this time-period, is not a necessity. There is possibly a little more they can work through with their hearts about Jack, Sr., but after that, there should be nothing else standing in their way to being a blended family and creating a home where Allie and Jack have both a mother and a father.

S11 was amazing! Great job Brian Bird, Lindsay Sturman, the writing team, the actors, all the cast & crew! The strong deep emotional storylines with Elizabeth dealing with Higgins and Nathan loving and supporting her. Allie wanting to know more about & see her birth father, Dylan and how Allie & Nathan handled that situation. Elizabeth loving and supporting Nathan in that situation. It showed a true love, a steadfast love. You don't always need to show romance to show love & these deep emotional experiences Elizabeth and Nathan had prooves that! I loved Bill and Rosemary investigate the shooting of governor Lucas. I enjoyed watching Lucas as governor. I liked his scenes with Jeanette. Then I loved the romance. I love Elizabeth's apology to Nathan, her speech, and her declaration "Nathan, I'm in love with you." For S12 or a S13, S14.... I would like a story about Nathan struggling with the issues of good/evil. As a lawman mountie Nathan could have a hard case that maybe makes him question his faith in God! He questions the goodness in people. Yes, I love the strong, deep emotional storylines. Kevin McGarry does them so well. As does Erin Krakow! I was surprised, but Jaeda Lily Miller did strong, deep emotional stories well too! I wasn't expecting that, but she did great with Allie's birth father story.

Also, just know this was the best season ever in the history of this show. Lindsay, the writers, directors, cast & crew were awesome. It really was the BEST! We would love at least 2 more episodes a season. More wishes: More heartfelt moments with the romance between N & E that shows they were thinking the same thing about each other and learn this as they go along. Tom & Faith-I would love to see Faith married to him. Can I say I love Lilly. What a cutie pie. N&E to be comfortably wealthy & not always struggling. They do however need a farm to grow turnips and potatoes and maybe even an apple orchard. Bring back Jessie & Clara even if it’s a visit. Let Mike walk around with lipstick several episodes (newlywed funny and he could pull that off well). Have Cody visit Robert. A character like Mr. Edwards (Little House on the Prairie) to move to town. Maybe be N&E’s neighbor. Just a funny & silly male character that the town didn’t know they needed. A discussion between Henry & E that she made the right choice & listened to her heart. If her dad can’t come to her wedding, he (or Bill) could walk her down the aisle. Hargraves & N to work it out (maybe a personal matter) & move forward with no more worry. Fiona to send the girls things from Nashville (where I live).Care packages and other gifts. Someone for Lucas to fit his personality like Janette obviously without being a criminal. A wedding & I do like the idea of a Christmas wedding in the woods by the pine trees & the Grant Family planting their first seeds together seeds. Look what one tiny pine seed can grow into…. One large pine (relationships) ❤

Elizabeth and Nathan get married small wedding or elopement soon it has been years coming. An adoption for both Allie and Jack by E&N to make a complete family. A honeymoon for E&N. Blanded family challenges. Meeting each other's parents/ families. A new baby on the way. E and N both getting to experience the challenges of that together and as a family.

I loved this season. I honestly don't mind if Nathan and Elizabeth take their time. I'm here for the journey. Can't wait to see what all of the characters of Hope Valley will experience in season 12. Thank you for this interview! ❤

My wish list. 1. Lucas finds a true love and can finally live the life that he came to Hope Valley for as well as to truly be free from his past. He’s tried so hard and is obviously a different person, so to see that development of his character to continue would be fabulous! 2. Have another close confidant for Elizabeth other than just Rosemary. (In the past she had Clara, Abigail, etc.) it’s nice to see relationship development between friends on the show. 3. See Nathan do more mounty work like in his earlier seasons and maybe have another mounty join him in Hope Valley. Nathan can be like the boss and have others under him. Hope Valley is growing after all and may need more Mounties. 4. Elizabeth to continue to pursue writing. 5. Nathan and Lucas to talk about Elizabeth to really give closure to that between them, kind of like they did in season 9 in the saloon and for Elizabeth to apologize to Lucas for using him whistle she was truly in love with Nathan during their entire relationship.

I'm guessing they found evidence that Jack's death was not an accident. I'm also guessing later on we'll find out Nathan was the target all along and Jack took his place, the killer not knowing about the switch.

Thank you Dawn and Marg for giving us such an interesting interview. Loved all the lists and hearing Brian and Lindsay’s responses and how they’ve worked through the episodes. It was so interesting. I truly hope we see more kisses and special moments between Nathan and Elizabeth and hopefully some of the other wonderful characters. I also hope we can see more singing by some of the cast. I really enjoyed that.

Thank you so much for all you do for us. I have loved WCTH since the first episode and before that the movie. My only wish is that I could join you all at the family reunion. I cannot go for personal reasons but my heart is with you all. Season 11 blew me away especially Elizabeth’s monologue to Nathan. It was beautiful! Jada (Allie) in episode 10 wow!!! Lucas story line and Jeannette again wow double wow. Please give him a beautiful love next season. Looking forward to more Elizabeth and Nathan romance.

Thank you WCTH team for a brilliant S11 - one of my favourites. This Aussie Heartie is very very happy. Felt like it was back to its origins - great stories, love, community, family, intrigue and of course humour (especially from Rosemary). What would I love to see in S12? A scene that I've been imagining (which I shared on the Hearties FB page), and which could happen early in S12: Another family dinner with Nathan & Ally over at Elizabeth and Jack's house. There is chatter about the day, friendly banter and plenty of laughter and groans at Nathan's dad jokes. Ally rolls her eyes and says, ‘dad you really need some new material’. The dinner ends and while Nathan and Elizabeth clear the table, Jack wanders off to the little table where the photos of his dad sit. He stands quietly staring at his dad. Ally notices and walks over. She crouches down and asks Jack ‘hey Jack watchya doing?’. Jack shrugs and says, ‘just looking’ then turns to Ally and says quietly ‘my dad is in heaven’. Ally’s eyes well up. She puts her hand on his shoulder and says ‘yes, I’m sorry. You know my mom is in heaven too’. Jack looks at her and then his face lights up a little and he says ‘hey, I know, you can share my mom’. Ally beams… ‘and you can share my dad’. Nathan and Elizabeth have been watching and listening. They look at each other and smile and Nathan draws her into an embrace.

Cindy Gervais did guess correctly! It was like a lightbulb turning on for the rest of us. We love our weekly New England Hearties Zoom!

Amazing season! Loved all the stories especially Nathan and Elizabeth, Allie’s birth father and the creep, Higgins. Rosemary and Bill sleuthing was the best! I do miss Nathan and Bill solving crimes together though (Team Gravery). Hope we’ll see more of our dynamic duo and epic Mountie action in S12. Any idea if Alfonso Moreno will be consulting in S12?

Everything is and so many different areas.But this was by far the season.I feel that Hope Valley again brought hope back into our lives. I honestly have never felt better about the show and its direction for so many seasons.It's been in the dark and it's nice to see it out in the light. My hope for season.12 is to continue to bring lightness into a world right now.That is so dark and in need of some place to call home and hope. Thank you to everyone for i'm wonderful amazing season
