Mainly for practice. I wanted to see how my list would fair against a lv4 with vermintide and hagtree fetish for the whole game, rather than just for a single turn.
@@Yong-Duke I am thinking of putting a lvl 4 on a magic carpet, but hagtree is too good to pass on with a lower level shaman. Between the short range of the spells and to stay out of “dodge”, I’d suggest a chariot for him. And maybe a unit of ungor as a screen. 360 degree los that can draw los through ungor is a pretty nice combo
Here the Lord of Change is used a lot with negate armor saves and illusion to hurl 2D6 shots at the enemy that automatically wound without armor saves with the doppleganger. Highly recommended
@davideallegra8022 haha yeah actually thought about that exact build right after the games we played. Definitely will give it a go. Though against some armies and depending on the situation if that spell doesn't go off the lord of change is in big trouble 😅
Can you actually cast Steed of Shadows on your Brimstone horrors? They are Troop Type Swarm but the spell says 'Infantry' type only. Great report as always!
Glad youre enjoying the reports 🙂 Yeah, so on page 105 of the main rulebook, it shows the troop types table. And under the infantry troop, type swarms fall under it. Hence, they can be used with the steed of shadows.
The Brettonian horn really screws up your flying movement and your steed of shadow spells. I can't wait to see a battle report where you can really setup your NASA Launchpad and achieve liftoff :)
As far as rules are written, yes, it just states that for the heralds, they require a unit with the same dameonic alignment. So if the furies have whatever mark you want the heralds, it would meet that condition.
Thanks man appreciate it. And will definitely start planning the basing tutorial video. Been pushing my painting guides off since I've been focusing on getting my armies ready for some events 😅
