Wow, just randomly ended up on this vid while searching for some Old World stuff and boy am I glad I did. Really cool stuff and very inspiring, also helps that I absolutely love Nurgle Daemons as a faction 😅 Anyways, keep up the good work, you just earned yourself a new sub!
Insane you make this level of detail and consistency, while painting during a few weeks for an event. Amazing and just such fine looking armies. My army of 2k points is on it's second year. Haha, hopefully I get to showcase my Tomb Kings sometime..
Thanks a ton, really appreciate the kind words. And ain't no shame in that! If I wasn't trying to provide battle reports I may have only ever owned one army. But now working on army number 3 😅 I'm sure those tomb kings look amazing. 🙂
Ohhh I love your style painting. Could you try to do a new video of this paint and a schema colors base…it’s old school and I love it. Have a good day Sebastien from Paris 😊
Dude, I have to say this is an awesome army, but again hacking apart a Bob Olley beastmen feels so wrong. :) Keep me in mind regarding those stirges, I have a number of those head tentacles for beasts should you need any for conversions, and a lot of these nurglings. Fantastic work, I am equally impressed and jealous. 😂
These look so good. I've been tempted for a long time to start a nurgle-only army as my second wfb project, and this video might just push me to finally do it 😅
Lovely army! I laughed when I saw the Beast's derpy eyes, what characterful models accentuated by a great paintjob. The flames and checks are nice too, but I disagree that they're more of an Orc motif. Many factions incorporate them in some form, to me they're just a Warhammer signifier. Your use of them is both appropriate and effective. As for the toad-squigs, why not incorporate them into the next Soulgrinder sculpt? Give it an awful hydra-head of plague toads, or maybe as tumors growing on various parts of the body?
@@TheThumpingBear haha glad you like the beasts derpy look. Definitely what got me to hunt down the models. A lot of charm. Appreciate all the kind words. And I do like that hydra idea with the plague toads. Definitely something to think about.
You're way too hard on yourself - your painting and sculpting is really good! One question - can the Soul Grinder be played in The Old World or is it just for 40k?
Also, and probably dumb comment given the skill you already display with your armies, but you might want to paint the furies before applying the wings. Not sure if you are already pinning the wings, but if you do…once painted applying the glue to just the pin will prevent getting any of it in the surface of the mini
No worries at all, I should have painted the wings before attaching but the honest answer is I'm just lazy and want the model fully assembled before painting 😅
