Hi what other Driver's will this controller work with this? Will the DM542, I understood your explanation about the problem, but I don't understand which words I should look at in the description of products to know which Drivers are compatible.
Thank you for video. In program 3, are you able to set a maximum 3 that it will not exceed? Such as you don't want someone taking it over 100 RPMs. Thank you
También quiero preguntarte si sabes de que amperaje son los fusibles. No consta en el esquema y no cuadra los montados con los de repuesto. Un saludo y gracias
Worked through your video in detailed steps. I have an issue in that for mode 4, and probably others instead of running 1 and 2 turns the motor goes 7 turns. I must be doing something wrong, but what. Set to defaults and adjusted per your setting for dip switch but no joy. I am running out of hair to tear out. Also, if I may. What is the H inF2 and meant to do……Regards. Chris.
Excellent. Had to watch your video several times to tie down the principles. The on line manual is the usual Chinese version of English so hard to follow. The wording in the tables makes sense when one knows the principles but is useless as a teaching tool. You have filled the gap for me. Thank you.
Hi, To follow up on my issue with the SMC02 I have spent the afternoon testing the unit that I have had trouble with. Fortunately I purchased 3 units to use on an XYR photography close up subject mover that I am building. The first of the three that I chose to learn on I now know to be faulty. Working through OGG’s brilliant videos I have now rested all three and have had a 33% failure rate. 2 work perfectly and one has major flaws in the code and a loose assembly probably causing serious issues. Thought I was going mad. Editing the manual into English from probably AI converted and unchecked Chinese helped as well. Massive thanks to OGG for his kind offer of support. Guess I am back to Amazon to order another as returning anything to China from Australia has to be a nightmare.
My motor is just vibrating. What would that mean? EDIT: Just adjusted the pot for the amperage down and it is moving now. How do I fine tune the pot to get the best amperage? I've gone down till motor stops, then up till it starts, then a tad more so when i try to stop it with my finger itkeeps turnign solidly.
Thank you very much for your great videos. I have a question: is it possible to set up an automated continuous movement of the actuator from one dead point to another with this controller without manual pressing CW and CCW buttons?
Hi I'd been thinking to use this driver for telescope tracker. As per thermal performance, will the driver hold when used for more than 30+ minutes at low speed with 24V/1.5A?
Is there a possibility to manually reset the counter, so that after the count is finished, the next count starts again from zero? Is it possible to do this using one of the buttons or does the counter have to be disconnected from the power supply?
Muchas gracias.
Might be possible if you configure the driver in the mode which you need to keep the button pushed to run the motor, and short circuit the button. But there is not direct function for this, I think if you just want to run a motor continuously, the best would be a more basic controller which is on Aliexpres.
Hi there in forward and reverse pin can be imput to signal and not whing ani com for hand wheel encoder encoder had A,B witch is reverse and forward ????
It is somehow limited to fixed steps so it is not so flexible, I am developing a PCB based on Arduino which would be more flexible, if you have arduino progam knowledge would be definitely more suitable.
As an American with hispanic heritage, fluent english speakers tend to take for granted how difficult the english language can be especially when explaning technical details. Thank you for this video and the effort you have invested into educating us.
Hi there Nice presentation, but im wondering and go in circles because I don’t know how can do this , in this set up how can you add up for manual mode with mpg hand wheel encoder if want to turn manual ?
When using a servo or stepper you always need a driver which gives the power to the motor, the driver can be controlled by a pulse generator, this should not be a problem, you will need to drive manually the direction and enable signals.
Just FYI about minutes 27:00 on the video, because I have this controller on a stepper attached to a machinist rotary table. The acceleration setting under F-12 is to control motor ramp up/down speed from a dead stop. So if you had a sensitive load to spin that you wanted to gently accelerate without disturbing violently, you could set acceleration to something like 003. It would very slowly build speed until it hits your target speed you set. The instructions state that you are NOT to click CW then CCW to instantly reverse the load, but rather push stop and let the load decelerate to a stop, then you may reverse. The controller works very well with 0-100 acceleration setting options as long as stop the motor before reversing.
Thanks for the info! I had the feeling at least in my unit that even pressing the same direction the acceleration sometimes did not work. I will need to check again.
Thank you for the video. This set up is almost exactly what I need but I need to activate the controller with a trigger. When 5-12v is present I need to move the motor in forward direction, and when the 5-12v is taken away, I need it to move in reverse direction. Do you know if the controller can take that kind of input?
