Hello! I'm a wife, & MOM to boy/girl twin 11 yr olds; we are an open & honest family. YOU-TUBE is a hobby and its done whenever it fits into my schedule. When a subject/photo/video/book/song is interesting to me, I post for all to see! My husband is a veteran of Iraq/Afghanistan; I support our military/foreign allies. I do try to respond to as many comments as possible to get to know good people. 🙏Love hearing what YOU ALL THINK TOO! 😁👍 My Narrative is that we should get rid of RACISM. If you are respectful then I will be respectful to you. #GoldenRule
One of my favorite songs, and the lyrics are so thoughtful, which is typical of Neil. Did anyone else notice Neil switched his grip style on his left hand? I'm curious why he would do that. "I didn't know the girl, but I knew her family. All their lives were shattered in a nightmare of brutality." I heard a rumor this was about Leslie Mahaffy (ie one of Paul Bernardo's victims). Anyone know if this is true? Edit: I just read that it was supposedly about Kristen French, another victim of Paul Bernardo.
Late to the party, sorry. Kristin, you actually bear a striking resemblance to Judith Durham, bangs notwithstanding. Many of us lost their hearts to her over the years. One of the most beautiful love songs of all time sung by one of the most talented groups ever.
Quite strange to hear " you can't do that now " , where everything is now " allowed", but where no-one dares to do anything in case it offends someone. The reaction videos to this performance are very similar, being shocked that he goes into the audience and kisses his fans and he doesn't get attacked, injured or sued into bankruptcy.
It's Gonna Be Alright , Elvis And MLK Are Together In Heaven They Are Waiting For The Rest Of God's Family To Come Home, Martin Luther King Really Loves The Song , The Greatest Tribute To Him , He Knows That He Is Very Fond Of Elvis Singing This Song To The Whole World 🌍 , And He See Elvis In A Different Light , In Fact It's A Very Powerful Song That Goes With His 1964 Speach,
Why can’t you do all this analysis at the end of the song? Sorry, just heard about YT blocking stuff if you don’t pause. I’d forgotten about that. Weird thing is, this is how you introduce a contemporary audience to musical classics of the past. It’s ironic that it actually rewards artists of the past, both culturally if not monitaril.
I know I’m late to the party. Lol. Say what you want about their sound musically from 1982-1992 (I personally love it), you can’t deny that some of Neil’s best lyrics were written during that period. Love these two songs.
I love your video and coverage of this song... which is one of my favorites. You are one of the few covering these songs that truly GET Rush. My first Rush show was Signals (83') at the Forum in LA. I love this song.... and you have a great look going on too.
This is my favorite album especially with Phil. I love that he does high and low range with his vocals, and you know there are 3 albums before this one starting in 1983
