Hi, I'm Rick Glassman. I'm a goofy guy and a cute boy. As a kid I had debilitating OCD. As an adult, I still have a lot of “things.” The title of my podcast “Take Your Shoes Off” is a microcosm of my need for control and order in a world that... keeps their shoes on. I'm also a comedian, writer, and actor. My weekly podcast ranges between interviews & casual conversations with other comedians, actors, directors, musicians, collectors and anyone else I find interesting. I also have my family on often. Sometimes it's educational (nerding out about comedy, writing, directing, basketball, comics & Magic the Gathering); sometimes it's quite serious talking about OCD, therapy, and personal obstacles. Often it's VERY silly. Whatever you're into, we probably cover it... with a hint of awkwardness. Come on in and enjoy -- but please make sure to TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF.

Beautiful rendition, George! I can understand why you guys started tearing up. Tom's music can evoke such deep emotions. I saw him do an acoustic version of "Day After Tomorrow" and almost start balling my eyes out right there in the middle of the theater. I had to fight hard to hold back the tears.
I love Tom waits. And i love Rick. Sometimes I think my brain works like Rick’s and I think people means I’m robotic and that’s not quite right. Cause this made me cry. Thanks Rick. Big fan.
@rickglassman and @georgekrikes ... i would really love to help wake people up to how absolutely incredible George is ... if he'd be OK with that... I'd really love to have some of the sale reactors that show teddy love react to George if that would be ok!
Im such a huge teddy fan so this episode completed me. But holy crap Rick's friend is absolutely incredible!! How can i find his music? His voice is unbelievable
If someone says “I’m on the spectrum” for one, big indicator that they in fact do NO have it. Second if they get mad that you asked what it is, that’s another indicator
I've gotten to where I approach intuition as a means of knowing I need to pay more attention to whatever is causing my psyche to react.. be it mentally or physically something in my life or surroundings is trying to tell me something and its on me to pay attention and be actively aware while being careful not to allow myself to make assumptions ... or let my ego cause me to have blind faith like I have some kinda super power... if that makes sense lol
