The only immersion-breaking thing about this encounter is that the three Oseram guys immediately recognize Aloy as a Nora, when you dressed her up in the most Carja outfit possible. They have literally no clues that they are dealing with a Nora, lol.
Okay someone pointed out that Aloy's hair is a dead giveaway. IDK that random Oseram would know that about the Nora, but it's a fair point. There is a super obvious clue.
Hands down the best quest in the game. The writing is excellent, the Oseram trio is crazy adorable, plus an underwater level that doesn't suck! Not to mention how beautiful Vegas Strip starts to look after. Love it.
lol some of these comments here haha , they forget that her genes were taken from one of the smartest if not THE smartest woman on earth before the apocalypse happened , then she got a sight which helped her get smarter by giving advanced information on everything , PLUS her physical training , PLUS what she went through since she was a kid , all that experiences , battles , solving different problems , come on .... after all this time and she can't be that smart? seriously ?
Yeah great, so the pointlessly snarky Mary Sue has the "chosen one child" origin as well as a "justification" for being Mary Sue. Great writing. Truly. 🙄
Why is all her body fat it stuck on her face? This face and waist shape doesn't match, it should either be a bigger body or a slimmer face to make sense.
I don't why the fuck this stupid woke bullsit game keeps showing up in my feed but suck it RU-vid,who ever posted this idiotic diversity hire shit. Obviously you're "algorithm" is broken garbage because no matter how much we thumbs down you fucking tards are just keep say oh oh well you like the swill well how's about the same swill over again!!!??? Fuck you idiots here's a rocket science why don't you stop showing people what they hate and stop trying to get us to change our minds about it!!?
Ashly Burch mentioned the first work she's done for the game is "a mid-game main quest set in the desert". I would argue then, that this was also one of the segments the developer worked on first. It feels more dense, detailed and lively, like everyone was still at 110% when they work on it before slowly getting into the rhythm for the long haul. Aloy's dynamic expressions in this scene? You don't get that level of detail in the rest of the game; I mean, it's exceptional work across the board, but this scene is on another level!
Where are you struggling with your process? I’ll try and answer any questions. I make my models in Blender, texture in Substance Painter. I export 3 textures for most models - albedo, normal, and ORM (occlusion, roughness, metallic channel packed into one texture). I use OBJ for 99% of my models because I don’t like GLTF/GLB. Any vertex painted models need to be GLTF/GLB/FBX as OBJ doesn’t support vertex painting. I tweak all my lighting while the project is running to so I can more easily move around and see without the grid/gizmos/object icons getting in my way. I use a very low light bias (0.01) so I get really accurate shadows but I also blute the shadows a little so they’re not so harsh. In my world environment, I don’t use SDFGI, I prefer to bake the lighting using VoxelGI. This works better for me since I’m not using dynamic day/night.
@@RuSosan The story of BG3 may be better. I don’t know-I’ve never played this game, and BG3 has an amazing, addictive story. But people were also blown away by the mocap, despite the janky gestures, weird expressions, and obvious reset to default at the end of every dialogue. Why were people so impressed by that aspect of BG3 when this earlier game blows the animation out of the water?
