Great video 👌. Thinking about going back to zard. I played it at indy... first regional for me and my son. My son got top 50 in juniors With his build. I didn't make day two 5/3/1 but had a great experience with my son 💙
The problem is energy acceleration. Kyurem is Dragon type, so Palkia can't power it up. You'd have to use 5 manual energy attachments or use multiple energy switches and somewhere along the line one of your metal energies has to stick for a turn or you have to use a method that requires reaching and could remove consistency, like Energy Sticker or Metang. It's a huge investment if your opponents don't play a "Colress" card. And if they do it doesn't directly matter what type of energy you play since Kyurem attacks for a Colorless.
Super excited to see how well Kyurem works in Regidrago, would be a great option vs Gardevoir decks if they have Munkidori's set up Same with Haxorus if you need to get more dragons in your discard pile or just need a little bit more damage just on the active compared to Phantom Dive
Been using this archtype since banana hats release. Heres my list - mimikyu is the only annoying thing but i just burn it with delphox and spread damage with valiant and munki Pokémon: 8 1 Munkidori TWM 95 1 Entei V CRZ-GG 36 3 Gouging Fire ex TEF 204 1 Delphox V LOR 27 1 Mew ex PAF 232 1 Squawkabilly ex PAL 264 1 Radiant Charizard CRZ 20 1 Iron Valiant ex PAR 225 Trainer: 20 1 Hisuian Heavy Ball ASR 146 1 Switch Cart ASR 154 1 Super Rod PAL 276 1 Forest Seal Stone SIT 156 4 Professor Sada's Vitality PAR 256 1 Maximum Belt TEF 154 1 Pal Pad SVI 182 4 Nest Ball SVI 181 2 Iono PAF 237 3 Ultra Ball PLF 122 1 Bravery Charm PAL 173 2 Boss's Orders PAL 265 1 Penny PAF 239 1 Mela PAR 236 4 Magma Basin BRS 185 1 Lost Vacuum CRZ 135 1 Counter Catcher PAR 264 3 Switch Cart ASR 154 PH 2 Professor's Research SVI 240 2 Earthen Vessel PAR 163 Energy: 3 3 Jet Energy PAL 190 8 Basic {R} Energy SVE 2 PH 2 Basic {D} Energy SVE 7 PH Total Cards: 60
I played this and it struggled against zard or things with 280+ hp so mine has max belt. And baby moltres for mimikyu. Other than that this deck is great, been doing well online with it (i also added a vaccuum to rid their tools such as cape
I played a lot of versions of this deck, including that one, even one with valiant. Though still really had no answer to mimikyu or any other big pokemon. Switched to the one ebergy moltres for a quick attack as well.n
Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex can't attack after it used it's attack last turn. I needed to switch in and out of the active in order to reset the attack effect and attack. Unfortunately I had no Switch cards in hand so I couldn't 🙈
@@ZapdosTCG I know brother but I just wanted to see how many people were going to say something that’s why I was laughing 😆 but keep up the great work & good luck in worlds. You’re the main reason why I want to start playing again I haven’t played since 2017.
Zapdos, we gotta talk about music choices for future vids 😭 The content is great but the background music shouldn't detract or divert attention away from the video
Gonna play this at my local, you guys think I can replace a line of tina to squeeze in iron hands? I know a lot of people play electric weakness and low hp basic pokemon at my local
Don’t drop any Tina’s. I play a giratina list with iron hands. You can take out pokegear, buddy buddy Poffin, Roxanne, and energy or a stadium to fit: 2 Lightning energy, iron hands. It’s a great combo. Find some way to fit the cards in. This is my list: Pokémon: 16 4 Comfey LOR 79 3 Giratina V LOR 130 3 Giratina VSTAR LOR 131 1 Sableye LOR 70 1 Cramorant LOR 50 1 Iron Hands ex PAR 70 1 Radiant Greninja ASR 46 1 Manaphy BRS 41 1 Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex TWM 202 Trainer: 30 4 Colress's Experiment LOR 155 2 Boss's Orders PAL 172 1 Roxanne ASR 150 4 Nest Ball PAF 84 4 Mirage Gate LOR 163 4 Switch Cart ASR 154 3 Super Rod PAL 188 2 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TEF 144 2 Lost Vacuum CRZ 135 1 Counter Catcher PAR 160 1 Prime Catcher TEF 157 1 Rescue Board TEF 159 1 Artazon PAF 76 Energy: 14 3 Jet Energy PAL 190 3 Water Energy SVE 3 3 Psychic Energy SVE 5 3 Grass Energy SVE 1 2 Lightning Energy SVE 4
You can play this list as either a normal giratina deck or you can play as just a lost box iron hands deck depending on the match. Usually I end up going giratina and then if I can amp for 3 or the last two prizes I do. It’s great because you really only need one mirage gate for Giratina since you’ll be attaching, which leaves more than enough for iron hands.
@alexsmit5430 my local ended already but I will definitely use this next time! I replaced some stuff end ended 2-2 so not bad, will definitely use yours next time!
@alexsmit5430 Yea I bricked against gardevoir and someone only got to 2 prizes left but I wasn't able to ko both kirlias on the same turn so that was a rip but yea, giritina is amazing in my opinion and underrated in this meta!
@@jacobexum9972Almost no one plays it at events (about 1.5% online) and almost everyone I see online says that lost zone box is better in every match up. I’ve seen people say that it isn’t good because 280 isn’t enough damage in this meta, but many decks can’t even hit 280 so it doesn’t make sense.
Yea, picking jet energy in that lugia match would have gotten you to KO the second lugia instead, unfortunate being at 9 in lost zone. I really wish there was a number counter on the board right below the lost zone itself, so that its easier to see how many cards each player has in there (especially since some actions don't let you look at the lost zone cause of bugs)
I wonder if Dusknoir will make Greninja ex meta. Now it has a great tool to deal with Manaphy and extend for KOs. It could play Milotic, too to prevent Turo plays and devo big mons consistently.
you should have shuffle two shadas in the deck then pokegear and add one, suffle roaring and leave 2 energy in the graveyard, use shada and charge your roarings, keep the energy in hand, next turn even if they iono you, you still had a chance to draw the other shada, and with the low count on your deck, it was very probable you would draw it. Penny gets so much hype in this deck, but people forgot you can just simply keep one energy in hand and manually retreat next turn, that's the point of playing only 1 retreat cost mons.
Pretty sure that msot peopel excited about great tree are gardevoir and dragapult players, because those are the only stage 2 decks taht run multiple coppiest of their middle forms. Meowscarada could also get a little buff by great tree.
Gardevoir will most likely not run this, it’s essentially candy+stage1&2 search, which just isn’t as good as stamp or aroma, and you would need to include smt to search for stadium, not to mention most gardevoir decks rn don’t even need/want turn 2 attacks
I'm thinking that stage 2 decks generally won't play the tree. It's usable by the opponent so if you don't vacuum it you're getting one use out of it. It does provide extra consistency but I feel that in order for it to be optimal you'd need to really think outside the box...or maybe inside the box? This could provide a way to consistenly play stage 2s in Lost Zone.
Wow, that's some crazy changes. I can see why they made the changes, but it does seem to favor those that have the time and money to attend all these events. I know a lot of good players and sadly they will miss out not because they are not good, but the system seems like it will favor those able to travel and pay for all the events (hotels, flights, registration, time off work etc).
Constructive criticism you need to turn down your music because if you're relying on talking to people, you need to get closer to your mic and make sure people can actually hear you. I was having a tough time actually hearing you over the loud music
