Today we are testing out a Greninja ex deck from Twilight Masquerade. With the help of the Shinobi Blade we can get any card we want from the deck. With Mirage Barrage we can attack 120 damage to 2 of the opponent's Pokemon. We pair it up with Froslass to put damage on all Pokemon with an ability. This stacks up fast! In the late game we have a Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex!

That Lugia player is BAD. You are in no threat of Lugia dropping, so you can buy a turn before using Summoning Star. You (should) play Mew ex and WaterPon, so you can just wait a turn, get the WaterPon up, get damage on Greninja, KO Froslass (you just watched Manaphy get discarded), then go Lugia KO Active Ninja, Mew copy KO second Greninja, then KO literally anything else with rat. Iron Hands should NEVER see the light of day in this match up unless at the very end to steal the game.

The ladder is currently broken; its supposed to deal 100 even after discarding the double turbo due to rulings and all that. So its really not all huped as its meant to be but the first attack is cool. Hopefully soon itll be fixed but im sure irl gameplay will change my opinion of it

Why? Isn't the damage it deals an effect of the move instead of being direct damage? Doesn't mist energy protect agaisnt it since it's an effect? I could be wrong, but my understanding was that it's the effect of the move, thus not affected by DTE

u first discard the energy there since its not on your greninja anymore it doesnt apply the effect of minus 20

I’m not sure what to think yet of the Froslass variant or Greninja. It’s at least amusing. The Palkia package being weak to Electric seems bad, and it’s not as smooth out of the gate compared to Pidgeot. Pidgeot gets you better access to Canceling Cologne and gust, which sets up a TM Devo or BM Ursa if you’re not taking something small. Ready access to Barrage + gust is also fantastic into Rotom. Cheers!

Pidgeot is the far superior build imo. Frosslas is cool but idk why everybody is stuck on it as *the Gren build

I haven’t come across any numbers it would fix that seem worthy of the inclusion. Like… you could Barrage BM Ursa in the active for 130 x 2 and hit something else. It also gets your Barrage over Scream Tail and Sableye if active. It allows for Blade + Barrage knockouts on 280’s. And then it kills a supporter for turn! Unless it’s a meta call, I don’t see regular value in Grant.
