Welcome to a cricket channel where matches from all over the UK's North West will be uploaded regularly. The matches could feature from any of the clubs in Merseyside, West and Central Lancs, North Wales, Greater Manchester or Cheshire.
I'm looking for a collaborator/s to help with commentary. The selection process is undemanding: you need to have played at prem or county level, have an authoritative voice, a great sense of humour and don't mind sitting on a stool, recording for 7 hours a game, most of which will be left on the editing floor. Or you could just be a really good bloke who wants to help.
There's no money in this though. Getting close to the action will be your only reward!
There's no big deal about it but working with the Northern Prem executive is a lot more fun than the Liverpool Comp one. The Northern Prem has great grounds, great players and great cricket. What's not to like? There's lots I miss about Sefton and the comp teams but life moves on.
Absolutely yeah. County ground, excellent facilities and oh yeah, a first class cricketer scoring a ton. Wouldn’t mind seeing you play, you must be good if this is village 👀
Ironically I'm at the other Eccleston tomorrow. I'm afraid my programme is mapped out this year with the Northern Prem. Who knows in the future and thanks for watching?
The channel has an average view time of 11 mins. When you think of the number of times viewers return to watch their favourite bit; that's pretty good. RU-vid say that 70% of people watch these videos on their phones with the sound off, so what's the point in commentary? Of course I would love to find some one to do 'live' commentary but it's a pretty skilled occupation and it's unlikely I will find someone prepared to spend the time for zero return and has the necessary skills. So, until I do, I suggest you watch a cricket channel where the videoing is naff and they tell you that their mate just hit a four or you could just let the sounds of the cricketers tell the story of the day on here.
@@cricketnorthwest1415 Ty for anything you provide. Sure most people appreciate it. I truly do. Good to watch any cricket at all levels from pro to village and all in between. Nicely edited and with enough info to let viewer know state of play. Can't ask for more, or shouldn't.
Thanks for the sub! I'm cheating a bit by splitting a finals day into three over the next three weeks. I need to catch up on games I recorded a while ago for my other channel. We'll soon be into the latter stages of cup competitions though, so if invited, I'll be recording lots of video.
