(probably the most generic description on the platform but it does the job)
I was testing hoarfrost against lancecap recently, hoarfrost really showed up. Walls to block damage for yourself and team that can be broken to kill things/give frost armor/recharge abilities. I wanted the build to work with tectonic edge and lances but cryoclasm was way too good for instant crystal break as well as movement. We ran a 2030 light nightfall (the one on europa with the shirker boss at the end). In the final boss room the walls blocked a ton of incoming fire from mobs and also killed them if they got too close. Kinda essential for keeping my teammates alive/rez chains. Lancecap is just not as good for survivability, good for killing things but not for surviving the things that do lots of dmg. With the incoming wiff refund for glacial strike plus the super slide from cryoclasm it'll be a defense build with cool movement as well. Lances will give 2x frost armor soon though so they'll have better survivability but I still don't think they'll beat the physical walls (that also give 5x frost armor when broken). I also just don't like stalking the cooldown for the lances when running a lance build, it becomes a little bit of a one trick pony.
1 star on boots of the assembler is an atrocious take that goes so much against popular opinion. Easily top 10 warlock exotics. This displays a lack of game knowledge that you should remedy if you hope to make it as a content creator for this game.
good points , but it feels pointless as upping the games difficulty just makes your enemies stronger and you weaker. if the AI gets smart and stuff then its totally worth it , but if a game just gives more health to your enemies , it just doesnt feel worth it to take up the challenge
You should play a game on whatever difficulty gives you the best experience. Some people relish the challenge games can provide. Go hard mode. Some people love to play games for escapism and to unwind without having to either grind or master mechanics (or exploits) to gain an advantage. Play on easy mode. Personally, I usually start games on normal (or semi-easy, game dependent). For me, the true mark of a game I love is a game I will play again while eventually raising the difficulty.
Only a small percentage of the shadow legion are actual cabal. Either ones who stayed with him after he got exiled or defectors from Citlal's legion, mostly high ranking officers and leaders. the bulk of the force are clones bred by calus on his leviathan before season of the haunted, and before he died I'm assuming now on his pyramid.
I think I have a theory for the cabal question at 2:23 . But it requires a little outside the box thinking, so bear with me on this. So as we know when exploring the pyramid, and the relic shaper on mars. The darkness seems to have a habit of making past objects into existance with pre-existing 'molds'. Its what allows us to make weapons we have collected from past dungeons, raids, and exotic missions. It is also what we believe allows the witness to create his tormentors. With that logic in mind, it isn't too far to assume that when the witness is low on soldiers for his conquest. He would simply retain the mold and create a fresh new army of darkness to fight the guardians. Of course this is just a theory so take it with a grain of salt. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
I do enjoy my Hunter more but theres a specific solar warlock build that literally enables you to not die, and get sub 12 -15 min GM run on most GMs with exceptions being the longer GMs by nature. Basically all im saying is, 100% the strongest build in the game objectively. GMs are on autopilot with it
No way. You should always play on Normal to see how you feel about the game, and how enjoyable it is at the intended difficulty. That mode is (almost) always optimized for the best experience. That is why it is the "normal" experience. If the game mechanics are fun but a bit too easy, switch to hard mode to really push the game mechanics to their limits. If the game's story is great, but the mechanics are annoying, switch to easy to experience the story with minimal annoyance. Always start on normal to vibe check the game in it's purest form, unless you have the mindset of "harder is always better even if the game sucks or hard just means bullet sponge opponents and lots of grinding." If you fall into the latter camp, then yes, hard should be your default. That said, I *did* complete Death's Door with the umbrella on my first play-through, but that was only because I had watched my girlfriend play it normally and, while she struggled a bit, I thought it looked too easy for me (it was). Umbrella run was the sweet spot for me, but I would have gotten more hours out of the game if I had beaten it normally, then sought out the umbrella run for more time with the game I loved. So, even going in prepared, I still made a mistake by choosing to play on hard first in the end, which only further's my point.
I strongly disagree. If I am going to get frustrated on something, it better be something actually worth that anger instead of making me feel like a pathetic man-child. I can explore and get 100% on easier difficulties. Minecraft, for examples, emphasizes creativity without the need for being unbelievably punishing. This creativity promotes more gameplay and enjoyment, inviting more players to participate. The fact there's a degree of intimidation when considering to play a hard game just pushes people away when life is hard enough as is. Beyond this, games are often an escape from reality's hardships. While acquiring skills in managing under pressure does help, there are better and healthier ways of doing so. I can see hard games being a great personsal training exercise, but so is weight lifting, studying, and painting. All of the require patience to get all the best enjoyment of the rewards, but it far more tangible and applicable; because of this, these are superior to difficult games in terms of handling life's challenges. It actually fairly rewards you, unlike hard videogames which has a far higher likelihood of leaving people thinking at the end of it "How much time did I waste stressing myself out over some pixels? Was it truly worth it?" The obvious and most frequent answer is no, it wasn't worth the trouble.
Dead Man’s Tale is just so satisfying since it *was* the only lever-action scout rifle in the game until echoes came along with a new one. I refuse to give the new rifle any credit and stick with my exotic that I don’t feel like suffering to get the catalyst for.
Thanks for the heads up i bought the Batman games and it’s fun to have difficult games in Skyrim for my first playtrough I had for some periods easy and then slowly having it harder and harder until I reached level 30-40 that I put it in master and legendary because it would be to boring otherwise after that the bosses where so fun yet hard I’m doing the same in my second playtrough mainly for trophies but for the 3rd I will probably start with the hardest and in survival difficulty
As much as i love Devil May Cry (especially 3), Dante Must Die is stupid. The game is made for air combos and combining your massive arsenal of weapons, giving the enemies superarmor and 6 gajillion more hp defeats the entire point of the game.
I have been a player for over a year. I have anxiety about raids event since I tried VOG and ended up getting yelled at and made fun of due to my anxiety induced stuttering. It has kept me from doing any raids or dungeons. I’m about to quiet destiny 2 because I just can’t bring myself to do the content. I have so much anxiety about it. I have disabilities due to military service and part of me working through some of them is being social. But I just can’t. I know prolly nobody will see this ever, but just know that this game has been tough, and made me feel very unwelcome at times.
I use No Time to Explain because i enjoyed it in D1 and simp for Elsie Bray. You use No Time Explain because you want to make puns. We are not the same (i use it on my Titan)
bro you´re using chromatic fire wrong. use it with arc soul, use and use blinding nades, you throw the nade into a group of targets, thy get jolted, you explode them with a presicion weapon, yes I know outbreak, but it´s best to use chromatic with hand cannons, because they do more damage per shot, and pulses kind of require you to hit the last shot of the burst with presicion, which is kind of hard. use fate bringer with firefly, ace, or even something like hawkmoon any hand cannon would be good, I recomend blinding nades, because they jolt and blind, and essentially if you use hawkmoon the nade and the arc soul get rid of elemental shields... the chromatic fire explotions can also make you amplified and buff your arc soul that´s why arc soul is better than lightningsurge you also don´t want to use lightningsurge cause it requires you to run into a group of enemies, and it makes it kind of awkward to hit crits if you´re too close to targets. you can change blinding explotions, and because the blinding explotions are arc damage, they create ionic traces, which feed into your nades and rift and all yoru abilities coming back. (on top of the blind, which makes enemies not shoot at you, which makes hawkmoon so much better for instance.)
