Deliverance honestly feels s tier to me. Craftable demo + chill clip is insane. Instant grenade with like 2 kills and next season can stun all champs. Precision frame gives it really solid range and if your a crucible player you can map people with it. I use it in almost all my loadouts
@@Ysl489 dont take this the wrong way, but starfire exists, hoil exists, and nades on hunter are kind of eh. Wouldve been better before we had so many ways to regen nades, but even then, not exactly great.
Lingering dread over Ignition code is wild IMO, slideshot is so amazing for blinding being able to blind entire rooms in seconds without having to wait for autoreload and millitia's birthright is a nice sidegrade with slideways autoloading. I would put them both in S+ tier.
You do realize lingering dread has chill clip and blinding and now that stasis are able to stun overload and unstoppable the usage rate of lingering dread is going to sky rocket even more
@@50_Sea_50_Weed it’s not about it’s blinding power it’s the fact that it can roll chill clip and has an elemental affinity tied to it that makes it better than other kinetic primary GLs since in lightfall it seems that we are getting stasis shield and strand shields enemies moving forward. Even bungie has said it kinetic legendary weapons mostly special don’t offer enough viability since kinetic doesn’t have any affinity that can synergies with subclasses
trace rifle is quiet underrated imo. it has better dmg than almost any primary and you get the benefit of getting more heavy if you use double special. been using hollow denial with repulsor brace since gyrfalcon got a rework and it's just so good. the other two also have incandescent and voltshot, both are great for pve
I made a comment about this too, traces are so good for double special that the best speed runners in the world literally use ones that have shoot to loot for memes Their perks barely matter as they are incredibly powerful base and contribute to ridiculous heavy drops

My main concern is that I usually run out of ammo fairly quickly when using double specials, but I guess the extra heavy drops would make up for it. I guess I could also see myself using the trace until it runs out of ammo, then switch to a primary

@@lazeatscrayons2426 Not always the best choice for something like a day 1 no, but for most content they outshine primaries in almost every way. Also it really depends on the day 1 encounter. For example, kings fall totems was made easy through using Heritage, Retraced Path, and Gjhallarhorn. Gally deals with the majors that spawn the wizards as well as packs of ads, Retraced and Heritage deal with everything else. Pairing it with any of the solar builds and font of might/well of life made for a great build IMO. Special finisher can get your ammo back if ammo economy becomes an issue, especially with classes utilizing Hands On (super energy on melee kills) or Ashes to Assets (super energy on grenade final blows). Additionally, running some finders/scavengers can help or Hollow Denial specifically has Lead from Gold, and being that you generate so much heavy you end up wasting a heavy shot just to pick up a brick to proc the perk. I know this next part is a wall of text but I just want to give you an idea of what I mean For example, I was farming Master Caital pretty much all week when it was around, and I was running Izanagi (damage + works well with bait and switch and I had a friend already using wither + weakening clear), Hollow Denial (this trace over Retraced Path because of void shields, if there weren't any shields I'd feed into Font of Might), and Cataclysmic (bait and switch plus font of might is nuts). Hollow Denial being void would easily shut down the incendior shields on master and you could kill them with a bit more ammo, or do what I was doing which was to weaken them down for a melee. On a solar hunter with knife trick and assassins cowl, the melee would kill them from about half health making me invis and healing me through cowl as well as providing radiant. The knife refunds, and through hands on is an easy super generator. Alternatively on a solar titan, once you have roaring flames x3 the shield burst (breaking a shield with the correct element deals bonus damage and stun) is enough for the melee to one shot making the trace even better. On a warlock I used karnstein for healing but I had a friend using Hollow Denial and starfire with a very similar method. Whenever my friends or I ran low on special, I would weaken a psion through my trace, get the finisher, and provide ammo. It takes a 1/4 of your super I believe, but with hands on and infinite throwing knifes that heal you it only takes a few to get the super back. All of these create wells, which you can utilize font of might and something like well of life on top of it if you want. If you're doing the starfire method, substitute Hands on for Ashes to Assets and it serves the same purpose if you ever need special ammo. Hopefully this helps!
@@lazeatscrayons2426when u run low on special, just swap to your heavy and kill some enemies with your abilities, also you wanna run finder mods or if possible scavengers mods for your special weapon. If that’s not possible and u still run into ammo issues, have a second pair of boots and chest with heavy scavenger & reserve mods to hotswap when u need the heavy. Used this for day 1 kingsfall, worked super well.
The fact ignition code isn't S Tier and that you call the very next weapon the ultimate blinding grenade launcher instead of ignition code is incredibly surprising. Slideshot + Blinding Grenade. Literally the best Grenade launcher in the game.
If you ever get a gunnora’s axe with threat detector and voltshot, please test it. It combines the ad-clear power of trinity ghoul with the damage of a normal slug Shotgun. Also, it’s jolt multiplier relative to its damage makes it one of the strongest weapon types to use voltshot with!
Trinary System is A teir. Solid roles for either pvp or pve. Graverobber/Swashbuckler or Feeding Frenzy/Kill Clip for PVE; use barrels for preferred balance of range & stability.
deafining whisper is easly s tier, especially on any void subclass, it has some great rolles, auto loading, lead from gold or vorpal, ambitous assassin plus, unrelenting, wellspring or rampage and its the only void wave frame and i believe the only wave frame grenade launcher that rolls with lead from gold and autoloading, and you pair it with a void warlock or hunter, it basically has permanent vilotile rounds, a better chain reaction
You’re not at all weird for Impulse Amplifier as a top-pick on glaives. If you weren’t aware, the speed of the glaive projectile is determined by the range stat of said glaive, so anything that increases range is going to make shooting the glaive multitudes better. S Tier perk pick on glaives!
yeh only reason its not is because riptide has a faster firerate so it can benefit from getting chill clip off quicker, but if you dont need it quickly then auravandil is good i personally use my deliverance
Different tools for different jobs. Auvandil is prob gonna be better for overload, I don't wanna wait on the looking charge time to get a second shot while an unstop ogre is bearing down on me. Give me riptide for that situation
For lingering dread I prefer either ambitious assassin vorpol or ambitious chill clip, it pairs really well with an autoloader chill clip bump in the night Also for judgment of kelgoroth, just running close to mele with anything else us amazing, I watched a team one phase the harpy boss in spire with just three of this, although I refuse to use glasses so I have yet to level mine up yet
Zealots Reward is the best fusion for farming artifice armor in Duality. It has Shield Disorient and Rampage and it absolutely shreds in master duality. Me personally I’d move it to A tier on that alone.

In my opinion all the traces deserve to be in a- or s-tier, double special is just too good and they are the best guns for that kind of playstlye in scenarios where u have to perform mechanics. Also ignition code is an easy s-tier, by far the best blinding gl (yes I won’t be able to stun champs next season, but it’s offensive capabilities are broken af. This gun alone can control the ads in a room in day 1 raid encounters, like golgi for example) + I’d put all of the wave frames in s-tier (the void one is the best one for double special with auto loading lead from gold and the solar one is nice aswell cause of alh + either disruption break or frenzy. Or even one for all and a reload perk is great, they all serve different purposes and I wouldn’t say, that forbearance is by far the better option, like I got all 3 and use them all on a regular basis, depending on the situation) Also also there is no way that the season of the plunder shotgun & the strike one are s-tier. The highest Id give them, is a b-tier on a good day. Literally a worse version of heritage. Are u deadass reloading those shotguns bullet by bullet? Every shotgun that isn’t a rapid fire frame or doesn’t have auto loading holster is maximum a b-tier weapon. Only shotguns that belong in a- or s-tier are: heritage, filo and wanna be filos, and maybe ikelos shotgun. This shouldn’t be a discussion. Like 1-2 punch for nerfed pretty bad, it’s still alright, but doesn’t deserve to be higher than b-tier, if that the only thing the shotgun got going for. And I know for a certain that every good player would pick the fusions and gls in b-tier anyday over the shotguns in a-&some in s-tier. +we do already know how the new font of might will work, u need an armor charge stack, and depending on how many copies u slotted of the new font, u get up to 22% dmg increase. U don’t need to be on the same subclass as your weapon and there will be a kinetic one too. The only thing we doesn’t know, if it stacks with other buffs. But that doesn’t matter in this discussion here.
FYI if you’re running rain of fire on warlock for radiant in fusion rifle kills, get lead from gold instead of auto loading on riptide. So much better since you can reload all three weapons after an Icarus dash
Deliverance with Demo/chill clip is really good on starfire warlock and HoIL Titan, all you need to do is throw 1 grenade and it instantly reloads so you get chill clip back
As a returning player from season of opulence these vids have helped me a fuckton. If you could make similar vids for the exotics and subclasses if any have been tweaked in the last couple years youd be a real one
7:01 Do NOT sleep on unrelenting chain reaction here, because of the enormous chain damage you basically proc unrelenting every time, you become almost invincible as long as there's adds to kill
I do know that lightweight shotguns are used for boss dps with tractor if the crit spot is far from being in tractor range. The kf speedrun that was just posted like yesterday shows how dumb it is as a combo. You basically "hotswap" (im aware its dead) with 2 lightweights and tractor. Its nuts damage.
Hollow denial is such an amazing weapon. I remember running dares for hours just beaming down enemies, ammo usually tends to be a problem, but it is so satisfying to just melt any mob down. I would honestly use it more if I actually had it.
Judgement of Kelgorath is being majorly slept on here. Overflow / Close to Melee on a solar titan with Roaring Flames and Synthoceps. Bonk with hammer, shoot a red bar, and your melee does enough damage to 4 tap champions and yellow bars. Not to mention huge boss dps (pair with healing grenade to counter stomps and you're unstoppable). It may only be this good on titan, but bonk + glaive has carried me through basically every activity these last couple weeks. No guns or champ mods necessary.
Agreed. Bonk with syntho or bubble with syntho carried me hard the last season or so. Unfortunately, it doesn't proc Demo but if it did it would be absolutely broken so it makes sense.
little bit of an oversight, but the Aurvandil FR6 is probably A tier. It can roll reconstruction chill clip (better than auto loading imo), and since reconstruction is an overflow of magazine, chill clip will proc for 75% of your total shots.

16:58 You forgot about close to melee stacking with various melee damage boosting exotic armor pieces, so this becomes incredibly strong very fast if you just pop one add every ten seconds or so with projectile
Hey Ember, amazing video, there's one thing wanna point out. Aurvandil can get recon and chill clip, if you put riptide in S cause of auto and chill, then aurvandil at least deserves a tier, as the perk combo is at least same if not better + you get more shots of chill clip as recon extends the mag size, it has more range, although more charge time but it hits harder.. not a hard on take tho, but just wanna let you know in case you didn't. Have a good one.
The biggest reason imo to use chill clip is to cheese barrier but Aurvandil is too slow to get the 2 shots before a barrier replaces it's shield while riptide can

Btw Trinary System can roll Slideshot High Impact Reserves... great fun for keeping your mag low but not having to reload between slides.. some fun slidemelee based builds this synergises with, though not advisable in high endgame content.
I honestly agree with pretty much most of these picks. There's a few I'd bump higher due to personal preference perk combos but pretty much all of this is dead on.
Funny thing about the PvP community and shotguns joke you made at 10:40 but shotguns are no longer a headache of a weapon to understand anymore and the general consensus is precision frame is the best type followed by aggressive. Load up on range and then handling. Opening shot is the best perk then anything that can give range or handling and that’s pretty much it.
kinda strange to rank the shotguns solely based on the presence of 1-2P when that’s only viable on melee builds. also pellet shotguns literally got buffed like two seasons ago
Personally I prefer salvagers salvo over forbearance simply for the high dps it can do with direct impact but overall there the exact same gl, plus they can blind with arc 3.0 so that’s always nice.
As a certified Gungslinger, Explosive Personality has been my go to for most of the year, Kelgorath is coming up though, sucks that I cant use my powered melee while using it tho
Judgement of Kelgorath is a really fucking foul Glaive if you pair it with the Synthoceps. I urge you to try it out on void with the fragment that heals on melee kills and a tractor cannon: 50k per hit if surrounded, with the animation cancel infinite damage
Likely Suspect is really good at clearing adds especially if you have successful warmup on it, it can deal quite a lot of damage and its craftable so I don't know why it's so low
Inquisitor with 4th times /Golden tricorn has got to be higher if you like the melee arc hunter. Permanent 50 percent damage buff with the best ammo econ?
Actually deliverance does beat riptide as its craftable so you can get enhanced perks like chillclip and demo as well as a charge time master work so it’s pretty decent

ok... hear me out. Lingering Dread yes the autoload / chill clip blind is great. But it also can roll auto load harmony blinding. Get some kills with your smg or scout swap when you see a yellow. Hit it with the GL doing a big chunk of dmg while you swap back to your other weapon for a clean up to refresh harmony.
Honestly ikelos shotgun has got to be one of my favourite guns this season, I had a “god roll” of it before, but it was just boring. Now I can incandescent or cascade point or one two punch, it’s just great. I got mine with pugilist with cascade point/one two punch and it is phenomenal.
My Enigma is level 85. I use it with necrotic grip and pretty much only use the melee unless under very specific circumstances. My friend calls me the glaive god when he sees me charge into battle giving space aids to everyone with my glaive. It’s ridiculously fun.
@@EmberCenturion I am by no means what you would call “competent” at the game but my god do I have luck when it comes to making fun things. Thorn, glaive, and necrotic grip combined is hilarious to use when charging through a horde of enemies.
3 best fusions I have (did techuen force dirty btw) techuen force with kill clip rampage, avundail with chill clip reconstruction and back up mag, lastly deliverance with cornered and surrounded
Reviewing the video I've realised that you have Gunnora's on A tier. I find it to be S tier worthy, as you apply the largest voltshot tics with it because it has the highest voltshot multiplyer. Give it a try, it does almost twice the damage per tick compared to ikelos SMG or Tarnished Mettle.

I love my glacio with reservoir burst + repulsor brace with voidlock. Aside from the obvious gyrfalcons I like the devour with repulsor and its the same archetype as loaded question so its just a flat upgrade to my old favourite fusion, but in grape flavour
I've been using most of the S tier, all stay in my inventory since obtained. Succession(c), lingering dread, forbearance(c), Riptide and need to finish my crafted heritage.
grave robber swash on lubraes ruin is actually really good. the melee kills proc swash x5 and grave robber. easy 33% damage buff and no need to reload.
glacioclasm w slideshot and reburst is a roll i kept and boi oh boi, infinite ammo from armor mods so i can rock double special even with no gyrfalcon it shreds everything, even yellow bars
I wish you could hold the melee button with glaives to use a charge melee. I also would not mind if they nerfed the perks on glaives if they also applied to the stabs.
I feel like going for a blinding build on Wilderflight is a waste considering we have so many blinding gls already. I'd personally go for a damage build with spike, demo frenzy. I use this with my starfire build for dps and it's great for hot swapping especially with both the origin trait and frenzy giving increased handling.
The aggressive frame fusion type itself would actually probably be BiS if they made one with good rolls. Corolla’s force hits slightly less than an aggressive (impact of 90 vs 95) but charged with the time of an adaptive (0.66 sec vs 0.96 sex). Feeding frenzy unrelenting and pairing it with gyrfalcons for the volatile explosion is best. If they made one with good rolls it would be the best archetype which is probably why they gave coriolis meh rolls.

When switching from weapon type to weapon type clear the previous weapon types that way it’s easier to tell which is which instead of looking at a huge mess of weapons😭

Ignition code is easily one of the best guns in the game and it's for sure better than Lingering Dread. Blinding Nades Slideshot Dangerzone is amazing for keeping everything blind at all times and Spike Nades Slideshot Vorpal shreds through camps, only thing that Lingering Dread has over Ignition Code is how u obtain the weapon but i'm not sure that's relevant for a tier list since neither of them are craftable.
