Thanks for the video, taking a boat out tomorrow with the family and was looking for ideas on the water. What should we bring for bug repellent if we beach it somewhere?
Glad you are Back! What is the Local Over Reach Government doing to Jaycee Park?.. The Locals have Revolted... but they continue to march forward with Destroying the Best Park in Cape Coral.... Update us please.
Hey Rich - That was a private transfer provided by Sandals, but is not a part of the Butler service. We have done both the private transfer and ridden the free shuttle, and I think the private transfer is definitely worth it.

Hey Matthew! Yes, we are members of Freedom. Absolutely love it. We usually use their Burnt Store Marina or Pineland Marina locations and occasionally Cape Harbour. Are you a member too?
Oh man, Pelican Bay sound bar is so dope anything in Lee County is awesome especially Matlacha I got a channel called smoking with SWFL spargo I’m from Cape Coral
how long did it take you so get from Matlacha to Pelican Bay. Wife and Iwill be down in Cape Coral soon and are getting a 42 foot yacht with a dingy for the back. Is it pretty easy to maneuver around the islands? Obviously won't be going 50mph but more like around 20mph once we hit the normal speed zone. Love this area and plan on getting up to Boca Grande as well. Love learning from your videos. Thanks!
This was definitely a unique weekend. It stays busy on most weekends, weekdays are not too crowded, but this must have been an organized event with all of the cigarette boats that shows up. Have fun on your visit!!
That’s the #1 question we get asked on the beach!! If you get them, be prepared for everyone to stop and talk to you, haha. They are made by Bote who is a paddle board maker, and we also have their inflatable and rigid paddle boards. Great company. Was that this past Sat or Sun? We went out Sat and went to Sanibel lighthouse it was a absolute gorgeous day. Thanks again for your info the other day!
Hey Justin! This was from 4/1 (just been to busy to get the video put together. How was the Lighthouse? Is the beach looking ok? Last time I was there, there was just tons of debris in the water right off the beach. Hope to see you out there sometime. Please come say hi if you see us 😎
@@thecapecorallife Beach was great. Bunch of boats were pulled up. Didn't see any debris. But did wear water shoes just to be safe. It was an awesome day for sure. Yea i'll look out for ya. I am in a tan 21 ft Nauticstar with a T top. Most likely coming from Horton or Rosen Park since its close to the house!
Awesome! We’ll keep an eye out for you. We want to take the jet ski down to Lovers Key again soon and will probably go out of Horton. I’ve been to Rosen but haven’t actually put in there. Really nice facility though.
Thanks for the kind words Justin. It’s about 6 miles from the ramp to the causeway, but takes a while since the bulk is slow speed zones, but not a bad trip overall
Hey Justin. Not sure what the launch fee is there but here is a link with more info if you wanna check them out. www.pinelandmarina.com/boat-ramp-and-parking
Hey! That was a screenshot from the desktop version of ‘Navionics’. It’s the nautical navigation app that I use. Here is the website. www.navionics.com/usa/. The mobile app basically lets you put on you draft, cruising speed, etc and then just set your start and end point and it will generate the fastest route. Hope this helps and hope to see you out there 🤙🏼🛥🏝
Any new vids coming soon?? We will be getting ahold of you as we are planning on moving to Cape Coral this fall. We look forward to your videos. Very well done!!
Thanks for the kind words. I’d love to help with your move when the time comes. There should be a new full length video coming out later today so check it out and I hope you all enjoy! Best, Marc
None whatsoever. We honestly never even heard anything and they did a good job of hiding it as well as possible. We have been to Sandals South Coast twice before, and prefer South Coast over Negril, but both were an amazing time.
Definitely very different. I think I have a good amount of footage of the area from before that I have never posted so I may look through that and see if I can put together a before and after video for better comparison. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
It was a little cool, but not as bad as I was expecting. The trip we did in early January was definitely way too cold to be in the water, but we had a long very cold snap around Christmas that really dropped the temp. It seems to be warming back up!
Good to see you back making videos of beautiful SW FLA. If you know, how is Matlacha recovering? We were supposed to be there in May, but Ian canceled that.
Happy to be back! We drove through Matlacha on our way to this marina on Pine Island, and as a whole, it is definitely getting there. A lot of the small shops and restaurants are opening back up, but there is still a lot of severely damaged homes that I’m sure it will take a while to recover. There are several homes that have fallen halfway into the water, and others that are severely damaged as well. But overall, there are a lot of people out and about and it’s slowly returning back to normal.
I’m so happy to be able to do this again! We really missed putting out videos, and showing everyone the local areas. We moved down on July 4 two years ago. Can’t wait to have you down here, and hope to see you around!
Will - Awesome! Hope to see you out there sometime. Beautiful place. Current is much more tame than at the north part of the island from what I experienced, which I am sure makes it better for kayaking.
