Here at Outdoor Believin we show how we live but also how we manage better habitat for all wildlife. I'm just a family man that loves the outdoors and likes sharing it with my family and friends. We eat the meat that we harvest and the greens that we gather. We love everything about the outdoors and do all that we can to protect it for the future generations.
Lol I'm the same way when I'm hunting, pointing out burls and old tools and scrap metal stuff. I just went hunting today for Morels and came home with about 20# of pheasant back instead. 😂
One of the reasons that I tie my braid straight to my jig! Leader material is gonna fail long before braid will. Oh well, getting a sturgeon in the boat solo is no fun anyway!
Nice Rig! If you primarily fish for walleye, then I am not sure if Livescope is worth the $1800 investment. If you fish other species, like smallmouth on LSC, or Crappie, then I believe it is well worth the investment!
Definitely a spun prop. Happened to me 2 years ago. Take it to the prop place in Algonac and they will fix it. It will take a couple weeks, so you may want to buy a backup in the meantime
BTW, the company is called "Henry H. Smith Company". I have a cheap aluminum prop as the backup for my stainless prop and I just put that one on in the interim.
it is nice to see you catching walleyes out of the detroit river. here in south dakota our state has let over bagging during the spawn go on for so long that it is tough to catch limit anymore. the people come into town and fish out of there boats during the day and catch a limit and then go down the rip rap along the river at nite and catch another limit we see it all the time and yet nothing ever happens because here unless its on video your word is no good. its a sad country to live in nowadays. money is everything and our natural resources are second
Yup definitely a spun hub.. get a turning point prop they have the removable hubs. its cheaper to buy a replacement prop or try different pitch sizes this way..
Definitely a spun hub on your prop. Usually find small particles of rubber on the inside. Around $150 for new. Good video. Try not to wrap your cable on that Terrova. Cool Rosie!
Absolutely get livescope, the lvs 34. Only con is watching fish not bite lol. What transducer are you using on your front gragh, a gt52 or 56? Did you mount it to your trolling motor, if so, how?
I'm running the gt54 for both...Front graph transducer is on the trolling motor...it came with a bracket and the cable runs up the shaft of the trolling motor with a cornfield fishing gear cable saver .
Check your prop. It might have an inner bearing that acts like the old shear pins when you hit something it breaks loose and it can go bad and the rpm’s shoot way up. Even though I didn’t hit anything. Something similar happened to me a few years ago. So try just getting a new prop is the easiest way to deal with that.
