Look for beds and have a hard bead on with a 10lb liter and just drift their beds

Should I be using a float still over beds or bouncing on the bottom with no float.

You have the main line and leader backwards, if you are using fluorocarbon, you want it as the leader, and the mono on the reel.

And ditch the 3 way swivel, no need for it, it takes longer to rig up, and will occasionally get tangled in the line, just use a small barrel swivel, and leave a longer tag end on the knot from your main line, and put your shot on it.
