I want to help you understand personal finance in a fun way through story telling so you can create a better life than you have today.
I created this channel to share my wins, failures, experiments, & experiences with money & life so you can make better decisions and most importantly, get you living the life where you do the things you enjoy surrounded by the people you love.
I don’t fool with GroupOn, I didn’t even know they were still in business. I signed up for a massage and long story short, I wasn’t going to get what I paid for. The business owner knew there were discrepancies on Groupon and didn’t do anything to fix it. Not to mention, she never had appointments.
The US must be one of the very last places on Earth where money-cheque's are still being used. Perhaps time to discard that ancient system? -And the credit cards at the same time. With a debit card, You won't have to build debt. Debt is bad.
people are so stupid, if you found a money glitch you wouldnt tell anyone as this could make them fix the issue, wasnt their are guy that found a bug in doing atm transfers from credit account to his savings but it didnt register the credit part so he was getting free money and i think he got caught but he was doing for a while not sure what he did to get caught but i think he got greedy.
Brother. Till this blows over. Just walk into the bank, and talk to a customer rep. Have them pull of your accounts, and deposit them through teller. That is how my wife is doing it for her company.
@@jamestravis21 Good. But Man Fools ruined it for My Wife. She has a rather large Architectural Design, and Construction Business. So her clients pay for constructions of homes Half upon approval of contract. Rest after completion (Her Track record, they pay up front.) So she takes these large checks to be deposited into her business account. She got questioned by a new teller, but Manager of Bank intervened and allowed the checks to be entered. So, she could have faced the same thing. But, better than doing it through ATM.
When people do stupid shit It messes it up for the honest responsible Hard working people Period! Now when someome deposits a real legit check Banks will scruntize it even more Putting a longer hold on it When I switched over to my new online bank I did a wire transfer Funds were in my account within 30 minutes I refused to open new account with cashier check cause banks put a hold it! The best way to end a relationship with a bank is WIRE transfer No questions or hassel Paper trail The remainder of my money I requested in the form of cash BUT I would never close a account withdrawing all cash out Its reported to IRS Wire transfer are clean and fast Especially if funds coming from one bank to another
This "glitch" has been around for as long as checking accounts, It's called check kiting!!! It is also ILLEGAL AF. Up to 30 years in PRISON and a million dollar penalty plus restitution!!!
It is overwhelmingly stupid people keep thinking "money glitches" are real, used their own accounts that have all the information about them AND recorded themselves doing it to show it off.
Why would you do something stoopid like that anyway unless your attentions was to scam the system? That shows you have zero integrity as a person and cant be trusted. Cmon man
Overdraft your account. Make minimum payments to return positive. Invest all the money in Berkshire Hathaway in someone else’s name and in 36 months you will triple your money and pay back the debt. While being in a new country without extradition.
Oh, and don't forget: You'll also have a new felony on your record along with denial with nearly all banks to get a new checking/savings account. And have fun trying to immigrate to a new country with a felony on your record. But yeah, other than that, great plan!
@@FoodstampK any suggestions? I’ve been wanting to change to a business checking account that doesn’t charge monthly fees if you’re below a minimum amount that also have a way of receiving deposits through checks.
Seems like these idiots never learned their lesson from the PPP and Doordash "glitch" and y'all thought you were smart enough to defraud a bank in 4K? Have fun with that felony and that jail time everyone gonna be getting.
Anyone who didn't realize this was basic fraud confounds me. There isn't a new idea under the sun. Someone has thought of it before and implemented defenses
@@jamestravis21Honestly, you're good. It's not your account or theirs. The bank held part of the check written to you due to all the scamming. It had nothing to do with the transfer. Banks don't block transfers between linked accounts (like checking and savings). They held part of the money to protect themselves from the people being idiots.
@@cetkat I thought it was unusual because it usually doesn’t take over 24 hours to clear. I deposited another check on the 9th and it was available for the 10th.
That’s a super rare Rubbermaid plunger you’ve got there. I’ve seen that those are so hard to pull off if they get stuck to something. You still have that plunger? I’ve been intrigued by those for years.
you're Mistake is taking the Mach-E and not a Tesla. personally I am looking into getting a Tesla Model Y as our family vehicle and First EV. we usually just drive in the city to work, errands, friends, etc. the few roadtrips we usually have are normally daytrips to go enjoy the outdoors, BBQ, hikes, etc. usually few hours away. furthest we would ever go is 7 hours or 13 hours to Vancouver but with the Tesla superchargers its normally 20 minute break have a coffee every 4 hours or so and keep going. so not a big deal. but main reason is I am extremely tired of paying for high gas prices, its time to get a new car, with all the tech and no Gas expense.
@@mohammadkamran5862 I requested a Tesla, ended up with a Mustang. I think the trip would’ve gone much more smoothly had we taken a Model 3. That being said: I live in a city. I would much prefer to have an EV as my next vehicle for the exact reasons you mentioned.
I just made a video like this because a rental company randomly gave me a full EV and it was a complete disaster lol. You really gotta be super prepared for EV vehicles and even then it’ll take you many hours longer to get to your destination
@@TrustyDigitalMedia exactly. I expected to receive a Tesla, I had done my research on where to charge based on renting a Tesla. Receiving a Mach E ruined everything.
@@damasterg we found one ElectrifyAmerica plug in Wichita at the very end of the trip. Super fast but most expensive charge option but it’s worth it especially on a road trip.
I commend you for trying but, there is a lot to be learned about charging. AC charging VS DC charging. And when you put a destination on the map in your car generally the map will layout different locations that you can choose from to charge. Generally tell you how many miles you will have left to get to that site. So much to learn about but once you do know you can go down the road with confidence. Happy motoring!
If there is a top 3 list of EV’s not to road trip, this one is on it. I have a Electrified G80. Soon as it’s paid for, Tesla Model S Plaid here I come!!!!!
Did you factor all the lost times you had to wait!?? That costs something! Your time. That's more important that paying for fuel . Even at $5/hr your already way behind a gas vehicle.
@@alphaomega750 that’s a good point. It was hard to quantify time for the sake of this video but we lost at least 10 hours figuring out the charging situation on the way to Topeka.
Try Tesla. Usually it is very good for day to day use with home charging. Other charging stations during trip need to get shit together. This is not usually the case in Europe and other countries.
I absolutely hate charging an electric car. Like you go with a gas car and you put gasoline in it thats it. But with an electric vehicle there are tesla charger normal chargers and many standards also slow charge fast charge I mean like just put the gas in the car and enjoy
Petrol vehicles will always be king. Unfortunately, people who think electric cars will stick are sadly mistaken. The roads need to be equipped for them they were meant for petrol-powered vehicles, and you know that you will not break down with a petrol vehicle. I love the idea, but these vehicles are for driving around the town, not long distances. I wouldn't say I like feeling limited to where I can go, and I know if I owned one of these vehicles, I would be limited to how far I can go. No one has time for these, and it's been proven with the rentals. Even the Teslas.could be better. You would be stopping every hundred miles.
