Great podcast, very insightful, as a founder of a start-up I have found a number of your episodes very useful and relatable. So happy to have found this channel
A number of American sportsbooks gambled on quick adoption of iGaming nationwide, and badly misjudged. There are rival gambling interests who want nothing to do with iGaming (unless of course they control it later), and their lobbyists are vastly more entrenched in state legislatures. iGamimg is inevitable in the United States. It just may not be immediate.
Man I love shuffle I really do. I was a Stake player and was dying for something new. There are tons of places that pop up but for what ever reason I took a chance on Shuffle. Once I saw the potential to get in on the ground floor I was all in. In total probably brought 40ish people with me. One thing that Stake forgot about was the every day player. Not the whale spending millions. I understand it's not as lucrative but that's the majority of their player base. One suggestion I have is don't forget about those players that help build the casino. When I started over I gave up years of wager at Stake. One big blunder that Shuffle has done with zero warning...no heads up move their VIP program to getting a host from Jade to Sapphire over night. I understand your growing. But man all of us that moved over and finally almost to Jade got kicked to the curb. A lot of us almost closed our accounts. You gotta do right to the players or they just move on. That has been the one big miss step. Still can be fixed but doesn't seem like they are interested. Still a cool casino...just lost some of the shine like Stake also has done.
Train , Adin, Xqc have alot to do with the giant push towards igaming atleast for the younger adults. Makes sense as to why they got giant contracts from kick / stake.
Owner of VGW is worth 4 billion dollars. Chumba hade made 35 or 36 millionaires from their Jack pot based games...edit Also; It makes since why these Sweep stakes like VGW don't seem to win nearly as much as a real casino because they are giving free sweep coins to those who mail in a post card with a code from their website. 3-7 Sweep coins per postal card with code. Many people do thousands of post cards per year living off this. We're as the people spending there own money to buy gold coins with free sweep coins included get aggravated they never win when they are buying with their own money.
