There will be a new cruise video every Friday at 6pm , so make sure your notifications are switched on so you can see my videos when they are live :-)
You are right, I now have a separate video with the new changes when they updated last month :-) This video is from March :-) before the changes were made. Do you think the premier package is better with the changes?
I think it comes down to itinerary. If your not going to be on the ship that much....then probably not. We are trying it because our travel agent got us a great deal. Our first time doing such a big upgrade. From watching your videos and a few others I follow, it seems like it's going to be a fantastic experience
Booked for Mediterranean next may. CANT WAIT!!! If you're having a special occasion, I'm surprised that you didn't mention the chef's table!!! we will be doing this instead of the balcony dinner. Which might have actually worked out better 😁!! This will be our first princess cruise. Great vid....SAIL ON!!!
I was on the maiden voyage only for 5 nights so not enough time and lots of things were not up and running then. I recently had the balcony breakfast on grand princess and I would love to do chefs table. Have the best time Sun Princess is one of my all time favourites x
@@Gyatrizztoilet hiya, I’ve not stayed in that cabin. Location wise great as near panoramic life. You are above the galleria /entrance to champagne bar so maybe some slight noise /vibration on party nights . Have you joined Mac virtuosa fb group and ask if anyone has stayed in 8150 that may help x
There are all kind of different cruises to suite any kind of person. Taking the time to do good research before buying a trip should ensure an enjoyable cruise. :)
Love your content. Being 1st time cruisers in Jan of 2024, we watched a lot of your content for tips and info and hacks exp with regard to Arvia Caribbean cruise. Doing a Med cruise in Sept 2025 as a retirement trip
@@kenc7478 Thankyou so much I really appreciate your comments x retirement trip sounds fabulous x anything you need to know just let me know. Have a wonderful time and congratulations
Are there special Yacht Club times for the activities like roller skating, 7D theater, etc.? Can they help with reservations for those if not as they book up quickly?
@@hollydaysatsea we are Royal fans, but won this cruise in a casino offer. We can’t say no to “free” congrats on your channel. Gerry and I started out five months ago and it has been a journey and growth is slow and challenging. I hope to get to your subscribers soon! Thanks for your follow up and keep Cruising! 💗🙏🏽🇵🇷
@@christiandiablo9499 they certainly do but your balcony views can be your own private space and perfect at 4am to see incredible views without having to get changed to go on deck too :-)
Hi, thanks for the tips. We have been allocated rooms 5463 and 5465, right below the grand atrium on deck 5. We are worried it will be quite noisy given it is under the main atrium. What are your views?
You will be fine , I was under the limelight club and I felt the same as you but no noise whatsoever. Apart from the weekly silent disco which finishes about 11pm there isn’t much in the way of noise to be concerned about at all :-) have a wonderful time :-)
We are getting the premiere package for the first time. I know that the regular daily gratuities are included, but what about the tips for the bartenders and wait staff that delivers food and drinks to our cabin and around the ship? Thanks for all the great info you provide!
@@bimiup1 Thankyou for your lovely comment. No further tips needed or required at all to anyone onboard, unless of course you would like too tip. Your gratuities have all been paid for in the premier package :-) have a fabulous time
On Iona last week. Sindhu was without a doubt the best. We pre booked for an all in price of £22 and as we had pre booked got 10% discount. Signature dish was a little extra. Beach house, with Lava steak, and Olive Grove were also very good. Didn't try Glass House or Keel & Cow as we don't like eating in corridors! Enjoyed Epicurean but they need to change their menu regularly as it is a fine dining restaurant.
I agree totally and I am so pleased you had such a wonderful time :-) The Beach lava steak and marshmellow dessert is wow. The service in Sindhu though is the best :-)
Was recently on P&O Iona and loved the salt block steak experience at The Beech House, but my absolute favourite restaurant was Sindhu. Great service, excellent food and really good value - prebooked and paid £10 cover charge each before we boarded knowing that this would come off the bill at the end. What made it even better was the offer of 3 x courses for £22 and also because we had pre booked whilst in UK, we got an extra 10% off the whole bill - amazing !
@@suzannecollins3537 Thankyou I so appreciate your thoughts. It’s only worth it if you use the benefits. Some cruiselines charge £60 just for the drinks package so £75 for all of this is worth it but only if you use the package and what’s included. Not worth it if you don’t ;-)
We are going on a cruise on November 2nd and have the Premier Beverage Package, but I'm going to call Princess and upgrade to the newest one. Your videos are always great and informative. Thank you so much! Cheers 🥂
@@omynameistaken you are welcome, I think if you love speciality dining then it’s worth it x $39pp or £10 a night . Any package is only worth the money if you use what’s in it x
@@gratefulness8381 Hoya 12297 has cabins above and below and not outside the lift so you are fine with this. If you can change it 12,289 and around that area maybe better as the ship sticks out more and a better view left right and straight forward :-) I hope this helps
@@samanthadaniels2991 hi Sam, yes there is at least one a day early evening , some cruiselines do a morning meet up as well and I cannot remember if Arvia is one of them. They definitely do an evening meet up though x
That was really cool! I made reservations at Catch by Rudi on Princess Majestic. It’s my first cruise on Princess and after watching your video I’m so glad my family made reservations at his restaurant. He’s such a wonderful person!
We had a partially obstructed view. It was pointing forwards, right in the middle of the ship. Not a great view, more from the angle than the obstructions, ie fence and other metal objects. The worst aspect of the cabin was that it was the smallest cabin we have ever had on any ship ever. The bathroom door was about 18'' from the side of the bed and the bed was sideways across the cabin rather than towards the window. Would not book that grade of cabin again on Azura or Ventura. However have now booked a normal window view cabin on Azura for September.
@@islandgirlejfan you are welcome, it’s a fantastic size of cabin and I loved the window seat . The box underneath the window seat itself is great for storage too :-)
@@ellmania2657 hiya, when you book the pigs the company will give you a few numbers for taxis. I just rang the first number on the list . When you phone ask for a speedboat transfer. The transfers are extra but so worth the cost x
