my wife and I have seen her live at least 6 or 7 times, if we couldn't make it we watched the live stream. every concert I have been to has been amazing, Brandi is easily one of my favorite musicians. So humble and full of grace.
This is one of the most inspirational and healing things I’ve ever seen online. I love Brandi Carlile, and I loved seeing the faces of all the women in the audience. I wanted to hear every one of their stories. What an awesome project. Thank you for sharing this. 💕🙏
Incredible project and amazing work. Wish instead of commercials (or in addition to) there was a requirement for all media to have a specific amount of airtime to identify where people can contribute a society, or a cause, or volunteer in some way. Would be great to showcase all the good work being done in the world, find some beautiful hearts in our humanity.
I was there from 1993 to 1998. yep that long what for? For drugs. You know what It was the best thing for that 19-year-old to get. My folks died when I was young. So, I wasn't doing adopted at 12. I ran away and turned to the streets. OF course, found my first boyfriend at 12 Was with him till I was 18. Then I was a little lost for a year. WAS very addicted to Horien. Not anymore. I have been out and never gone back to crime or drugs. But I did get to go back and visit my best friend and roommate when I was there. Brandy this is so awesome to watch this video and remember the place that help me grow up
Does Brandi still do this. I listen to all of her music but never until now saw this feed. I am one of these women. I am now 70 years old struggled with addition for 55 years spent so much time in jail and prison and somehow managed to raise an amazing son who will be 29 in August of 2023. This music is inspiring to women everywhere please continue what you do. See you at Red Rocks in 2023 ❤
Brandi Carlile Gigante! A artista levar sua música para mulheres q estão no sistema prisional, é um ato de Solidariedade e humanidade ! Muito obrigada Brandi!! ❤❤❤❤
Ever since I watched this video for the first time, I go back to it when I need reminding what life is all about. This time I’m taking my courage up to ask about a lady who is sitting opposite Brandi, with blonde hair up, maybe in her late 30/40. She has such a beautiful and spirited appearance and I would absolutely love to find more about her story. What the foundation is doing together with IF project is absolutely amazing. I’m working in activism for social justice over in the UK and your work inspires me greatly. Thank you!
Prison is a terrible place that kills your soul. So impressed by Brandi's commitment to them. I spent 12 years in corrections as a psychologist. They're grateful for every human kindness.
I come back to this, and come back and come back. I always cry. I'm so glad Brandi was the artist that encouraged my idol, Joni Mitchell, to return to performing. Brandi is true, talented and humble and I wonder what their conversations of motherhood are like. Blessings be to all the women here, I send them healing and love along with my tears, year after year.
