@@allaspectsrc4178 it’s been a great Journey and you know how usually things are one problem after another and how it can slow you? Well by and large this project has gone fairly smoothly. A bit left to do still but I’m enjoying it! Thanks for watching man👍👍👍
hey my dude Joey Nitro! Great repair work and paint on this classic!! working on this era model you certainly gotta make some educated choices, lol, as you already know! You did great!! lookin forward to more..
Thank you Hybrid I’ve enjoyed working on her! Going to swap out the engine I think. The challenge of finding parts is balanced by how easy she is to work on👍
yep - rare as hens teeth alright, I have some RPM lower wishbones to put on one of my RC10GT - I have a GT2 Truck which I must do a video on - Nice piece of kit
WOW! EPIC repair on that truck bro! Major good work. Curious, did you run into any clutch related issues, the RC10GT I have has a vintage style clutch with no springs, so that meant it won't idle in one place, you know.
Hay brother thanks! Yes I know exactly what your relating to the springless Clutch! Makes the idle difficult without hold the brake this is obviously due to it being a Race ready set up. Now knowing your knowledge you’re going to tell me to do a Traxxas clutch mod! Am I right? Yes this will make it easier to use for our purposes👍 thanks for your support and I will be picking your brain about the Hobao hyper ST Truggy next👍
Well I have that option the Tower hobby’s .15 I also have a .15 made by SH for what ever brand the engine is and I now have an original Associated Electrics .15 that it originally would of had so I will try to discover the best option out of those for now! As you know I narrowly missed out on a new in box O.S. .15 cv o looked for the 12 like you mentioned to me but the two I found were so expensive and I actually bought another great nitro with the money (video soon) and as I’ve already put a fair penny in to this Rc10gt I will make do for now with what I have and if I decide to keep her witch I almost certainly will coz I just can’t let them go (knowingly) 😂 I may upgrade to an O.S. or something in the future! Thanks for watching A2RC 👍
@@s.o.sSavage Yeah. We always have to make choices. Sometimes it quantity and sometimes it quality. - An OS 12CVR (or similar) would still be a perfect choice for the RC10GT. Keep us updated 💯
Yes absolutely the back is ok because a Traxxas hex fits over the pin leaving you with options for wheel changes but the front is another matter😂 but she is all good now! Thanks for watching as always my friend 👍
@@FullPayGaming hi yes I did actually I don’t want it to pull wheelies to be fair but I did swap the gear ratio and it was pulling wheelies it’s not just the gears though you also need to do a couple other things as well but the gear ratio video is on my channel as well👍
You were saying you cant get front wheels off ,, if they are a hex nut looseing them abit use the tool to keep hex pressed with thumb and pull both side of wheel with slight pressure,, wheels with come off 👍
@@kristianenglish4453 I think what has happened is the previous owner tightened down the wheel nut without it being perfectly aligned on the thread the thread is now damaged and won’t allow the nut to release obviously the wheel probably didn’t sit right due to the bad alignment so it was over tightened to compensate. This is what I believe has happened anyway. I’ve now got what I need to do a Jato conversion and this will make changes to front wheels a lot easier👍 thanks for the advice I’ll definitely try it incase I’m wrong👍
Number14👍I have a OG Team associated RC10Gt. Carbon fiber shock towers. Oh beautiful body. I have a rare one. Thank you for sharing. The gen 2 was ok. I like the RC10gt . Mine still has the OG team associated .15 pro . Looks good. Thank you for sharing 😊
