Hey my dude!! Happy to see you're exploring my suggestion!! 4-tec tune is great and it's just too fast for those tires, you're right. I'd recommend you pick up a cheap average set of 1/10 foam tires. They usually dont last long but you could get some impressive handling while they are in good shape. Love the new area for filming too!!
@@hybrid32494 Thanks my friend and thanks for the suggestion of the video! I will be getting some foams I think and follow you guys advice! You will like the video I just posted as well I think!
Hi Joe Nitro nice video this is a great group of people on hear so lets show our support and keep it going and show everyone how good this group of people are as with out this group i would not have got my savage you are a top man stay safe and lets keep these smiles going much love nat-sav
Nice rip!..😎👍 Even 26 years ago with the first gen 15 the tires & traction wasnt that great ,my friend had the first gen an he bought aluminum rims with the slick tires ,the car handled more solid ,I think the aluminum rims made the difference an didnt flex as much! We use to race our cars up & down the street about a good 80 yards away!
@@fcbaker65 Hi it’s Funny because I just got the same 4tec your describing as a gift for a good friend of mine and fellow RU-vidr J.P’s RC Canada! Thanks for the heads up on the rims and tyres also man!
@@s.o.sSavage I know that the aluminum wheel added a little bit more weight to the car ,but it also added more stability in the handling in higher speeds an wasnt as floaty ,that car went to the guy's son ,so I cant review it an I wish that I was able to buy it ,the son dont even like RC's!
Is it really a single needle carb? As for the run and area, I have found that it is never worth “risking it”. Run a different day/change the set-up/find a better place/etc, instead of taking big risk and destroying the car - The area you are in seems to be way to slippery to have fun and keep this car safe. The surface could use a good blow off and some foams for the car make a huge difference I’m really excited that you are able to run more touring cars ‼️ They are so fun to drive - Thanks for vid SoS 🩷
@@a2rc Hi A2RC thanks for watching! Yes single needle obviously it has the idle screw as well. I was wondering if foams would not like the weight of the car after reading a couple ot threads but if you and Hybrid recommend them then I will go that route! Thanks!
@@s.o.sSavage If you can swap that carb out for a 2 needle, it will make a world of a difference (or even a different engine would be better) I run foams 99% of the time and they work great. Lots of options for shore values - You don’t have to true/turn them before running but, it helps to make sure they are concentric, better balanced, adjust the tire diameter to what you want and you can shape the profile to suit the road/track conditions For rough/uneven and bumpy areas, I would still recommend rubber tires but, still a higher grip compound. - Over time you will learn what areas work well for the different types of tires. All the little things add up to better performance, traction, etc
