Hey! I'm Tsukepen. I've been an illustrator for over 10 years primarily drawing anime style illustrations and comics. I hope to make videos that can entertain and educate artists. instagram @tsukepen www.deviantart.com/tskpn
Hi, thanks for the nice review. Question - what is your handsize according to the Logitec sizing chart? I'm leaning toward the Lift for a number of reasons. This would be my first ergo mouse.
Did you test the latency with a Lumix? Because there can be a significant lag on the camera HDMI output itself. Also usually these transmitters have much lower latency at 50/60p instead of 25/30p (the reason eludes me), did you try changing the framerate to higher modes?
helloo I am borrowing my sister's Ipad Air 4th gen and I cannot seem to find a tab that modifies my keys, clarification is much appreciated, currently using IpadOS 17.4.1
I tried this, it works on Magma online drawing site, but in Krita , surface pen is not recognized as a pen, but a mouse, so of course, the pressure sensitivity isn't working. Can you please test this on Krita and share the result ? Update: I switched to Win 8+Pointer input from Wintab, it's seems to work now
This review was made 3 years ago so my main question is, what is your opinion on the Surface Go 2 now that you've been using it for over a year? Do you still hold the same opinion of it as you did after your first impressions or has that opinion changed and you've found something better to recommend over the Surface Go 2?
Hello and thank you for the question. While my thoughts are probably still relevant several years into the life of the surface go 2 (and even 3 at this point), what I think the main question comes down to is do you need a great drawing device or a jack of all trades? The surface go is a nice jack of all trades but the drawing expereince is not going to match an iPad with an apple pencil. If drawing is the priority I generally recommend iPads these days because they are extremely easy to use and offer one of the best drawing experiences but when it comes to productivity tasks iPadOS still feels compromised. Hope that helps!
Please either speak or play background music, whilst you had some valid points to make, voice over music is incredibly annoying, to the point I was ready to just skip your video completely.
I appreciate this. Hobbyist, working 70 hours a week...I've had this Surface Pro 2 sitting in my closet for a couple years. Recently, got back into some Blender learning. Not having a pen input for all these tutorials by pros is just worthless. Dragging a brick across a mousepad and thinking you're going to produce something interesting to look at is just folly. So, finding out you can in fact use the SP2 as an input just fills me with warm love.
You are a life saver! I was staring at that screen and asking myself where ctrl, windows key and alt was so I thought I was just fucked, but turns out you just gotta figure out which one of the mac keys matches yours and you're good. Bless you bro 🙏
Thank you so much for this! I recently got a new tablet and was surprised to see my brushes werent synced. I thought my settings on one device would be synced to another. ...Now I'm off to go sync the hundreds of effect and drawing brushes I've downloaded 😂
Hi I’m looking at getting my son who’s 10 a iPad for drawing he’s art on I wondered if 1gen Apple air pad or 4 gen iPad would be best for pencil drawings too ? Can you help advise me
Hello and thank you for the comment. I'm not too familiar with those two devices in particular but if they both support the apple pencil I would say they are comparable for getting started with digital art!
As an older artist.... i think getting inti another career field is a great way to approach something with a differing INSIGHT than others trained in that field from the start.good luck.
Thank you very much for the support!! I 100% agree and hope to also find interesting ways to blend the mediums I've used in the past with what I'm doing currently!
Hi do you know if I can use this to scan my charcoal drawings and also print them from this Chromebook ? I have a flatbed scanner and a printer. For that matter which basic Chromebook would be good for doing something like that thank you
Hello and thank you for the comment! Depending on your needs you might be able to scan and print from a phone if both accessories have Bluetooth. If you need to draw more details then something like a tablet could help, but for mobile devices and operating systems Bluetooth printers or scanners may be the only choice so I would look into that first. If you're printer or scanner needs specific software and a USB connection maybe the Microsoft surface would be a better solution. I hope that helps but as all accessories are different it's best to look into your specific products.
Hi. Can you confirm me the keyboard shortcuts of windows word working on iPad too? I'm in a dilemma to getting a BT keyboard. Please try and upload these shortcuts: Ctrl + arrow keys Ctrl + A Ctrl + shift + >>>>> Ctrl + shift + <<<<< Your review will be really helpful. Thank you ❤
i'd like to find the lift, or an equivalent ergo mouse smaller than the MX. but i also want it to be LIGHT, hence, no AA battery. wish logitech would build one w recharge vs. battery
I have a surface pro 8 and i plan on doing this same exact setup to use so i could just have clip studio paint on my main pc. Would you recommend any other alternative ways to be able to connect my surface pro to my pc that doesn't involve remote desktop?
Thanks for the comment! There are many of these Bluetooth controllers out there and most are inexpensive. This is the video I made on it a while back ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kMunyXC6_Eo.htmlsi=2lCmpeUpOoRtotpF
Thank you for the comment! As an artist I was disappointed in the screen, but it's not really the size it is the fact that is doesn't swivel. As is the angle doesn't support your hand so I feel like extended drawing sessions would cause wrist pain. Could be good for quick note taking though.
Hello and thanks for the comment. I have used a lot of Logitech products and they have lasted me more than 3 months, this lift still sees daily use with no issues, but of course every situation is different. If you have had issues it might be worth reaching out to the company directly to see if you had faulty units.
