Hey there, this is a great question I didn't consider. You should be able to click outside the macro area to remove the highlight. You could also disable the macro before printing or saving it as a .xls file. Let me know if this helps.
@@CareerSolutionsforToday Nope, because some parts of the table are titles, and I don't want them to be selected 🤔 But I will try it, to now if the problem's from here
This is great but any way to have the key word that you are searching, highlight the cell to a color so you can easily see your results when using multiple columns and multiple rows are displaying? I am also going to try and see if I can get the filtering table to filter the table that contains all the data rather than having 2 tables to view.
Hey there, I am willing to try and help. For your first question are you wanting the column and row to be highlighted? Also, for your second question, can you tell me a bit more? I am not sure I understand that one fully.
Q2. So using your video as an example. The table on the left side of the screen contains all rows of data. The search criteria/filter data is on the right that looks to the left side table. How can you eliminate the search criteria/filter results on the right and just have the search field narrow/filter the data using the table on the left for a cleaner/simplified view. To clean it up I did just make a new worksheet titled search that can be used like your table on the right but would like to just have 1 search/table to reference. Hopefully that helps explain what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Hey there, if you check out the final section of the video I cover creating a link that emails multiple people. You can utilize that same process in the formula for the CC section. Let me know if that helps.
Hey there, do you mean being able to Sum IF multiple criteria such as "Taffy," "Gummi," and "Chocolate"? Tell me a bit more about what you are looking for and I can help.
@@CareerSolutionsforToday I see, I always save as Worksheet, so now I save as micro enabled template, and it won't affect any other setting/format in my worksheet right?
what if i do EXACTLY what you describe but it just doesn't work? Everything seems to be set up right but it just won't use German instead of English for speech to text.
thank you very much para los que hablan en español, me funciono cambiando el macro por este =O(CELDA("FILA")=FILA(), CELDA("COLUMNA")=COLUMNA()) y bueno en el codigo use este Application.Calculate
After I finish my work, I close this Excel sheet. Then I open it again later, in that time the Highlight Active Cell format doesn't work. So, what's the permanent solution in this case?
Hi. Thank you for the video. This worked great when I first used it, but after I saved and then reopened the files the next day, the conditional formatting would not automatically update. It will work when I press F9. Automatic calculation is enabled. Any suggestions?
