just came back from a UK test ride i am 1.82 meters tall 5ft 11 3/4 inches tall i found the leg room cramped unable to move back on the seat as the pillion seat is raised it was cramped.coming to a stop the distance from seated position to ground was greater than the current bikes i have which is a T120 water cooled and a gsf 650 lo bandit i felt the footrests were to high thought was the one 🙄so test ride one before putting a deposit down
Looking to get into riding but have balance issues along with a brace on the left lower leg making a shifter questionable. Does this model come or can it be out-fitted with an automatic transmission? Would it be appropriate for a new rider? Are there other models I might need to look at or research?
Go to a dealer and see how much they want for it, out the door. I almost needed a diaper. I went and got a new Goldwing Tour for 28.5K out the door. Give me a break...LOL. Why? Cause Joe owns one? NOPE! Joe can ride a big pipe all he wants.
The ignorance and lack of curiosity in these comments is astounding but yet familiar. That’s why US and the west have stayed where they are with their overpriced unreliable cars and motorcycles. China makes cheap and unreliable because that is what the Americans and Europeans want and order. Low cost and maximum profit. Not so for their domestic market. Take your heads out of the sand folks. Chinese are at least a generation ahead with their EV’s and other vehicle products.
No thanks! I had a gold wing 2005 it was American made , Marysville Ohio , awesome bulletproof motorcycle in 2020 I traded it on an Indian motorcycle made in America! Yeah I know parts are made everywhere, but a Chinese motorcycle made to look like a gold wing , know thanks ! FJB
Bring it on. As a Goldwing owner, I don't know how they can compete, but would love to test one. They will need to do something big and sweet to have riders pay attention to this one.
Maybe the price will get your attention as with all of the GWM vehicles they produce . the price will be 1/2 to 2/3 the price of comparable vehicles .So would expect the motorcycle to be the same
Yes Goldwings have been around along time, however they seem to have rested on their laurels. As they are not as reliable now, with mechanical issues now starting to creep into the newer models with gear box problems. Which leaves the door open for brands like indian and brands like this to move in. Even the germans are moving into the touring market. So goldwings now have more competition than ever. So don't underestimate the Chinese brand. It wasn't that long ago that Chinese cars were rubbish, but look at the brands now, and how they have improved and now have a firm hold of the market.Just some food for thought. How quickly times change.
I've been riding Goldwing for years (30 years) if this bike had been a Goldwing 50th anniversary. Then I wanted it right away. But the Goldwing is so reliable, nothing can compete with it at the moment. But this bike is a really cool bike without a Honda engine unfortunately. Greetz from The Netherlands.
