Bring it on. As a Goldwing owner, I don't know how they can compete, but would love to test one. They will need to do something big and sweet to have riders pay attention to this one.
Maybe the price will get your attention as with all of the GWM vehicles they produce . the price will be 1/2 to 2/3 the price of comparable vehicles .So would expect the motorcycle to be the same
Yes Goldwings have been around along time, however they seem to have rested on their laurels. As they are not as reliable now, with mechanical issues now starting to creep into the newer models with gear box problems. Which leaves the door open for brands like indian and brands like this to move in. Even the germans are moving into the touring market. So goldwings now have more competition than ever. So don't underestimate the Chinese brand. It wasn't that long ago that Chinese cars were rubbish, but look at the brands now, and how they have improved and now have a firm hold of the market.Just some food for thought. How quickly times change.
Come on guys, give it a break. It’s a beautiful bike and GW has lost some of its followers due to the trek to sport touring. I mean, The Chicons build some pretty mean fighter jets too! I’d buy this if it was available.
The latest generation Gold Wing came out in 2018. They made it a lot lighter and nimble. It looks like a sport touring bike compared to the previous generation. Now this Chinese bike is out and went back to the size of the previous Gold Wing.
If it is anything like other Chinese motorcycles and scooters honda has nothing to worry about. Parts and service are a nightmare along with poor reliability. Will there be a dealer network? Doubtful
I've been riding Goldwing for years (30 years) if this bike had been a Goldwing 50th anniversary. Then I wanted it right away. But the Goldwing is so reliable, nothing can compete with it at the moment. But this bike is a really cool bike without a Honda engine unfortunately. Greetz from The Netherlands.
No thanks! I had a gold wing 2005 it was American made , Marysville Ohio , awesome bulletproof motorcycle in 2020 I traded it on an Indian motorcycle made in America! Yeah I know parts are made everywhere, but a Chinese motorcycle made to look like a gold wing , know thanks ! FJB
Worst nightmare??? Not even close. It is a Chinese piece of $hit, like every other car and bike from the world leader in low quality and substandard materials.I feel sorry for anyone who eventually buys one. Wait just a short time after than when all of the horrible reviews start rolling in.
