When you buy the truck they get taxes when you sell the truck they get taxes. When they go belly up you bail them out. When they ruin your money and the bank goes under you bail them out. When they add 25000 dollars worth of safety and emissions equipment to your truck and then charge you 6.5% in taxes to register it on the stuff they made you buy. Then you pay to drive on a toll road. Then they tax your groceries and your land and your paycheck. Then they start a war and draft you. Then they hire more cops to write you tickets and check your DOT numbers. You own nothing which is fine but people do not know that they don’t own anything people think they are free also. The state takes your manufacturers certificate of origin and gives you a piece of paper called a certificate of title and charges you an exorbitant rate. Then issues you plates and charges you yearly for that. Then says driving is a privilege and revokes your drivers license if you do not pay them these extortion rates. They went from gold and silver to United States notes to federal reserve notes they control the entire planet with their Monopoly money. They have nuclear weapons in space circling around ready to end all of you if you all decide you’re not playing the game anymore.
i would start with the pigtails on the injectors, lots of youtube videos out there saying that’s the issue, and not the injectors themselves apparently the pins in the plug wear out overtime. i just had a problem with mine, on number 4 , which seems to be the case on every tube video i’ve watched so im going to try doing it myself tomorrow. Dealership, they want $1800 to change 1 injector, $5500 for 4 and $ 11000 to do 8. that’s Canadian $$.
For starters, you gotta have a screw loose to pay what the crooks want for those trucks. Then you get a diesel engine. You may as well take a bucket full of $100 bills and dump it into a fast moving river.
Sounds like shitty mechanics/shops/dealerships than the machine…my cousin has been running Duramax since the LB7 and has NEVER lost a single injector…dad has a LML with no problems, I just bought a L5P that’s awesome
Hay, I know a lot of ass fucking the feeding ha haha been going on up there. The anti drug hate groups of the welfare groups of the church's thieves. Road stop to spread the aids and coronavirus. But they got to get their anti drug M. A. D. D. wack off the highway
You had recourse, but that would have required you to file a small claims case. Had you done that, you'd have a new truck. Yes, it's a PITA, but the manufacturer is counting on you to not take them to court.
Thanks for the heads up, I hope it worked out for you.I know Enterprise truck rental is more than a truck payment. But y'all might need to try the truck out for 6 months and then buy the truck from them in the end if it turns out to be a good truck. If it breaks down they will replace it without all the down time of you having to take it in to get fixed. A 1996 half ton Gmc taught me to step away from GM. I had so many problems with it that I did not want to sell it to anyone else. I still have the truck 26 years later with only 103000 miles on it. No telling how many GM parts I had to replace with aftermaket parts to keep it running. Same GM parts kept going bad. I keep tow insurance on it and try not to drive it more than 50 miles from home. This EPA mess has really caused a lots of problems. Everybody needing a diesel to go get local take out burgers because of their little man syndrome has not helped also needing to blow smoke to get people to notice them. Sad so sad the EPA has also maked the fram tractors a mess to keep runing. I am staying with my JD4630 46 years old, put diesel in, make sure it has antifreeze keep good battiers, hit the key and hold on and get work done.
My friend, I just got the news yesterday that I need to replace my entire fuel system because my CP4 fuel pump sent metal chards through the whole system. My 6.7 only has 39K on it, I am devastated because it is a $12k problem. Change your fuel filters often, often, often. I had no idea.
It's not the injector I'd bet money. It's the connection going to the injector solenoid losing contact. Same issue the LLY's had. Use an ice pick or something to pinch the connector down on its seat. Bet money that's the issue. Seeing a lot of these on L5P trucks. Seems the LLY issue made its comeback. Also the LLY has the 5 speed ally, which Wasn't great. Also the l5p 10 speeds are having some weird issues. Funny how history repeat itself lol
I own a 2022 and I've had zero problems after 20K miles. It's obvious this guy got a lemon. He had recourse, but he didn't do the one thing he needed to do - threaten the dealer with legal action. Also, it's not wise to base your buying decisions based on one RU-vid video. Many owners like me have had zero problems.
@@TastyBananaFatch obviously not wise to base it if one but it’s not the only one. I have 2 friends and a co worker who have had this same problem. One before and two after. Glad that yours is working out great. It’s more of a not having time to deal with knows issues.
@@marko9138 That's cool, I get it. My rig has been nothing short of solid as a rock. But, keep in mind that 2023 is the last year of this generation of Silverados (2024 is a new design). So, they seem to have worked out all the bugs by 2022/2023. I've taken it off-roading in the desert and beach, and hauled all sorts of silly-heavy loads. Not one hiccup! FYI, Fords are prone to the same issues, you just may not have heard about them (youtube has a lot of videos on the powerstroke engine problems). Anyhow, I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to buy :)
115k on my 17 L5P before I traded it, and no problems. I drove it like I stole it and changed the fuel filter at every oil change. Plus always added a fuel treatment now and again. Loved that truck, really miss it. Sorry your having problems. You may have gotten a bad batch. Dealership sounds like a real fail.
I've got 3 2020 2 2021 running rv transport with average of 175000 miles each no major issues I've run rams and ford's major problems with both no issues with l5p
