BUT ONLY AFTER THE REALIZATION OF THE ONE AND ONLY GOOD THING THAT'S EVER GONE ON, THAT'S GONE FOREVER AND SEPARATED FROM YOU FOREVER FROM GOD AND INDEED, MY LORD, HIS LORD FOREVER! SO REPENT!!! FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND, EVEN AT THE DOOR.... Each one of us that lives and has a life upon the Earth has the Light and the Blessing of His Lifeforce and have the opportunity and the ability to choose God and to learn to love Him as your Heavenly Father and to learn from Him, His ways. In relation to the emerging festering thats overcoming the whole world, that's quite the opposite from and amount and has quite literally begun to rot the roots of society and lead all away from God and towards it's own selfish ambitions and desires (the very same's as well as in each and every one of us!) , but people's prescious souls are being decimated daily who need or needed to hear the Good Word, repent and be forgiven and baptized by Holy Spirit, people, people and they're souls that need His Grace as we ALL DO, thats a fact... So manu that still need to be reached, but the gap is closing fast and the a daily astronomically large amount of people's lives are being transformed by our Lord Jesus Christ everyday, all day and becoming sons and daughters of the Most High God and most of God's children are already ready to go and returned unto their Good Shepherd.... I mean, let's face it mankind and God haters, you JUST DON'T have that much time left and..... There just aint that many more times of fulfillment and satisfaction lying before you and in your way and that's A FACT! Not until you bring meats fit for repentance and seek Our Savior and give over and surrender your life completely into His Perfect Will, be washed by the water (baptized) and be Reborn and then be Baptized by the Fire of the Holy Spirit and burn for our Creator God, returning back to , "Thy First Love" and your Heavenly Father, Whom fashioned you before you were even in the womb of your mother and has just like, put forth endless effort, "time" and love towards Us, but He won't be doing that for too much longer and "His Spirit will NOT strive with man forever" and those who have either already discerned of their own spirit that they choose to side with the lord of the air and the god of this world and stick to his whole woke, pro-chid sacrificing, abusing and misusing and the wounding of many of them right on down to their very souls souls pro-respect and obey every dike and fairy and their entire pronoun respect car manual that they all apparently seem to come with these days and DEMAND, DEMAND YOUR RESPECT.... Or else... Come on!!! Wake up people!!! You bein' played and i mean you bein' played by the very same god of this world and you need to wake up! Give tour life to Jesus! Bless the Lord God of Hosts! Praise His Name forevermore, singin' Praise His Name forever and ever!!! Come on though, for real, the Ark's abouta take to the heaven's and without the chance to look back and "like a thief in the night", He'll come for His sheep and He'll make them to lay down in green pastures and He'll lead us besides Still Waters, he shall indeed restore their souls and they will all lie down with the Lion and the Lamb and He will be our God and we will be His people and with a very, very grateful and thankful heart, we will bless His Name and be walking outta the last age and welcoming the Blessed & Holy Age of Christ our King! In '71 (I was 14) a friend pulled out Master of Reality. He also had the poster on the wall. Only time I've ever seen it. In 2/77 they finally came to Nashville. Opening band was Van Halen. It was a good night.

Ok heres my take on it. Im sure the record label had a lot to say about this song. Although seeing how the rest of the album turned out, they pretty much seemed to give them most artistic freedom. This version is a bit much for the times. I believe this was the rough draft of the song, still in the jamming/writing/ arrangement phase. Ozzy would sing jibberish over parts until he or Geezer came up with lyrics. Then they would start to set the meter of the song with lyrics. As you can tell, some of the lyrics dont match up and are rather odd. It kind of breaks the song up negatively. Ozzy always did a great job with the meter of his lyrics, as in- not just what he was singing but how the words sounded and bounced or went with the riff. This sounds a bit snobby, lol.. sorry. Some of the lines were way too dark. The record label had to think about getting these blokes air play and not just trying to recover studio spending with live shows...so, they turned the song into an anti war piece. Which is fine. Id like to hear somebody put a mix and master on this version. I think the album version is put together better. Does that make it better overall? Dunno... The end
Epic. Too bad they had to change this song (the other version is still amazing), but people would have freaked out if they released this. It's crazy how in 1 album...Basically every track gives birth to a subgenre of metal...stoner, doom, thrash, death..etc I've listened to this version so much, I mix up the lyrics in my head with the more common one...I'm GenX so was introduced to Sabbath by "the cool uncle"
Thrash? Death? Nah closest to thrash was children of the grave & and that still sounds like doom. Symptom of the universe though might be that but then again people already made speed/thrash like music in 74-75 already
I wonder why they changed the lyrics. I'm sure that it had something to do with the Vietnam war and instigating the riots at home here in America. I mean, maybe there's someone else that was pushing the change beside the band. After all, Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stoned received KNIGHTHOOD. Isn't that for battling? Maybe the battle was and is in music? Maybe the crown has never been or friends since we broke off. Maybe they had a hand in the demoralization of America?
