Проблема в том, что, несмотря на то, что это очень известное и очень красивое музыкальное произведение (мы согласны!), оригинальные тексты на языке кичуа нигде нельзя найти. Эм, обнимаю!

Меня многие просили перевод этой песни, но это не эквадорский кИчуа, а перуанский кЕчуа, я не знаю этот язык... мне лично трудно разобрать, только поняла Tayta Huamani - на кичуа, это Отец Ястреб (или Сокол), на кЕчуа не скажу, может, то же самое, а может и нет. Но в общем, в андинской философии это покровитель гор. Есть слова про полёт, смотреть с высоты, воспоминания... кажется, есть про Солнце и Луну... я попробую спросить своих коллег коренных жителей, может быть они поймут больше, но скорого ответа не обещаю...

As someone growing up in the sixties with all the great music around then I was a big fan of the Rolling Stones. I have to admit that Melanie sings this song better though. Just a matter of individual taste.
