Damn i got my ahimy totodile at 152 resets. Then im on my 2nd run and its been a total of 16 hours XD HOW DID I GET IT THE FIRST TIME but now im wondering ifnits worth it. I got all the shinys in scarlet but wondering if a shiny run is worth it i heartgold

I'd like to comment again like I did on the first video I am the longest-running shiny Hunter literally the first day came out I was waiting in line I got Pokemon Gold my brother got Pokemon Silver we got home I traded over Charmander when I could and Goldenrod and it was purple had no idea why until like 2 weeks later somebody else said oh they found a discolored Pokemon they're called shinies they actually had internet and can go look him up and so we just kept looking for him and looking for him while playing through and yeah people were amazed that we had different colored Pokemon and they didn't because they didn't know how to get them or even noticed at the time because one person said they ran into a off-colored Pikachu that sparkled and just ran away

There has been a shiny I think Onyx found in Pokemon Stadium or Stadium 2 by I can't remember the speedrunners name so yes there has been one found in stadium

I I found a shiny Dratini and Dragonair while fishing only once in Generation 3 fire red for both I got my shiny starter I got my Shiny Gastly shiny Togepi shiny Sudowoodo and when I finally got the proper Rod I started fishing for it down in the Safari Zone

I've been shining hunting technically since the day gold and silver came out because I traded a Charmander from Pokemon Red to Pokemon Gold and it came out purple I was confused for 2 weeks until people really figured out what they were and that you just got to walk around a bunch and you'll eventually run into them. There ain't no way.....I know someone who has got the 1% shiny koffing. It was like 3 years ago, and he was replaying the game. I was at his house, and he was just goofing off in the water and found a shiny coughing. At the time, I didn't know what the odds were, but we were just happy to find a shiny 😂. You all may call me a liar, but I swear on every God to ever be worshipped. This happened. The sad news is that the save file has since been lost.

Do I save before picking my pokemon

Hey guys I’m a noob here doing my first play through and am really trying to get that shiny moltres.. if I save the game while facing him and just keep resetting will I eventually get him? I’ve been at it for days and although I know it can take sooo long I just feel like I’m missing something. Is there any other factors like maybe timing of when I hit start, select, A, and B to soft reset and initiate the battle again? I’ve put hours and hours into finally finding the shiny and I just hope I’m on the right track. I’m doing this play through on my Miyoo mini so I have the option to use save states as opposed to the soft reset but recall hearing/reading that the reset is the way to go. Ima keep grinding but any advice for this noob would be so appreciated. Thanks!

I recently replayed sapphire, was playing normally, got to seafloor cavern right before kyogre accidentally ran away from a random shiny zubat. Luckily I got photos before I ended the encounter lol

There is only one shiny i OBSESS about. Super luck Shiny Absol. Pretty mild on difficulty level, but it was my very first wild encounter shiny EVER found, and ive been playing since pokemon yellow.

So hard to watch, especially since you had a masterball. Have you reclaimed it already? I plan to cross-hunt Koffing in Firered in Poke Mansion and in HGSS in the Burned Tower. Koffings in the Burned Tower don’t know selfdestruct yet so you can play with them, but if I got one in Firered I would be too scared he wakes up and uses selfdestruct. Definitely will use a Masterball!

Thank you for detailing the hunt, I'm so glad Heracross is so easy to hunt in this game. Gonna give it a shot as my first gameboy shiny hunt! I wish you tried showing it to the Heracross lady who says "Big and shiny, it's the bug boss!" even though there's no shot anything special happens.
