Over the years he released 4 solo albums, participated in various rock and metal projects, such as "Unisonic", "Avantasia", "Place Vendome" and "Kiske/Somerville" and has also been a guest vocalist for many bands.
He is a low tenor with a nearly four octave range and is regarded by many as one of the greatest metal/rock vocalists ever.
