If you don't have an immersion blender you can ... buy one, or add it to your birthday/Christmas etc. list! Joking aside, if you are serious about homemade soups, I would almost consider one an essential item of kitchen equipment, so much easier than a liquidiser. I moved back in with my parents while my home was being renovated, and lent my blender to my father who always made the soup, but did it in batches in the liquidiser. Long story short, I bought another stick blender!
Lisa, I just had to write you today. Your channel has been my refuge from so much uncertainty and chaos. We have been building a "dream home" since we bought land here in TX in Dec 2020. I know you're not married and don't have children but you are like the sister I never had and I enjoy your positive attitude through adversity and how you have turned a corporate career into something so beautiful and uplifting. The three basic needs in life are food, water, shelter. You have provided beautiful food and it helps me stay focussed on the hope that I will one day be cooking ALL of these things from my STILL NOT DONE kitchen and "shelter" I've been longing for for almost 4 years. I missed 3 out of 4 of our boys high school and graduations that were meant to be celebrated in this 'future' home, along with my husband's 60th birthday (last year) and an Eagle Scout ceremony for our last--that is STILL unscheduled. I know I'm rambling but we had to move in with my mother in law, thinking the home would be done "in a few weeks" last September and sold our last asset, our home, to make it happen. It's now been 9 more months of displacement and I haven't been myself. I haven't cooked in 3 months. We are crammed in here and it's her kitchen and I just let her take over. We are guests in her home. She just left to go out of town for three weeks and I pulled out this recipe to make for my family. I feel like a mom again--I didn't have thighs so I'm using breasts but my temporary shelter here is blessed by you, your channel and the lovely cookbook I have (now in storage) awaiting the day I can turn on the TV and WATCH your videos and cook--just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you. You really do have something special. Not all youtube contributors are equal. You know what you're doing and make it visually appealing and get right to it. THANK YOU for the value you bring to my life and, I'm sure, to millions out there who enjoy your recipés. Grateful.
I will squeeze the cucumber in a jar and use it in juice add lemon and mint and ice cubes 😋or to homemade lemonade ;nothing goes to waist in my kitchen ✌️🤍
I'm sorry sweetie I'm sure that you were giving me great advice and I'm betting that they post things are going to come out great but you keep acting like just because you bought it this morning it's fresh that ain't a fact sweetheart.
I'm sorry but as a person that has my own chickens you saying fresh eggs that you just bought that morning makes me laugh because eggs you buy at the store have been sitting there for freaking ever. Eggs you buy from the store are not fresh just cuz you bought them that day eggs you buy from the store has been sitting there for 2 to 3 weeks. Fresh eggs are straight from the hens but just for future reference a fresh egg doesn't come from the store
I enjoy your videos they are great! But, have you been to your website? Way too loaded with ads. Trim those down so we can view your web content. Thanks for sharing!
