I love your collection! It’s very nicely curated :) my Sarracenia, and a lot of my carnivorous plants, loves to sit in standing water. They naturally grow in bogs and have very shallow root systems. I change it out every couple of days. Self-watering pots also work well! It’s also really important to use distilled or reverse osmosis water because carnivorous plants are really sensitive to minerals/chemicals in the water. They also love light! I would put it in the brightness spot in your room or under a grow light. I hope you’re plant and your channel grows and thrives!!
I love your collection 🥰 if you decide to repot the sarracenia it needs specific carnivorous plant soil, as they feed themselves through catching insects they need nutrient deficient soil, I hope it grows well for you 💚
What a lovely morning ❤ growing up, we often see striving women, fighting women, busy women, but nvr a relaxed woman. Seeing the world gradually changes, nonchalant women and relax, chill women taking their time, taking space- just the sight of it makes me happy :)
What a great and likable video you´ve created and uploaded!!! You show us your "view" instead of the typical "instagram type" "Thats ME, doing this and that, don´t I look cool ´doing it!?" videos most of foreign (to germany) youtubers do! I really do love the moderate approach and down to earth pictures and scenes you have created and uploaded! You did not talk about pretzels, beer or the autobahn, you just showed us around rhineland palatinate, which is in my opinion a beautiful, but ver.y underrated part of germany. All the best to you, your loved ones, stay safe and healty and keep on doing what you like!!! Thumbs up!
Glad you decided to stay in our beautiful country! Lived with a Bulgarian exchange student myself, got to see the country in a whole new light, and they are coming back this week and dragging us down to Germany where they live for 2 weeks in February! Hope you also got friends you will stay in touch with in the future! Good luck at whatever you do and was nice to join you on the journey :D
You created a wonderful film about your adventure Nianne! Looks beautiful out there. Great production and love the soundtrack, looking forward to your next film. Bravo!
Thank you very much for allowing us to go out into nature with you, and for sharing your thoughts with us. It goes well with the kind girls, as we say in Norway. Especially those who observe small things in nature and take great pleasure in this.
I don't really watch Norwegian vloggers... Most of them vlogg in Norwegian anyway... Here's one I found after a quick search that's in English (ru-vid.com) No idea if they're any good though... Could try to search more if you want. Although honestly it's probably more interesting to see foreigners experiencing Norway then us doing so as this place is mundane to us after all.
8:16 That looks delicious 😋🤤 I'd probably still be nervous about trying it though, a bit too paranoid about ingredients etc (like that pudding?) You find animal based ingredients in the weirdest products.
@@niannecjs I don't care about the taste. I'm one of those people that don't eat things if there's a atom of animal origin in it... Fish, meat, eggs, etc is all a non option. Likewise with cheese with animal rennet. I haven't entirely quit milk and lacto-vegetarian milk products, but you know...
Yes I do! Although I can’t call myself a real vegetarian yet, since I do eat meat every now and than, bc I tend to get anemia (sadly). In the future I’d like to take supplements and stop eating meat, but right now that’s a bit too expensive for me
@@niannecjs That makes sense. Do meals with a lot of green leaves and orange juice or fresh oranges together and you'll get more iron. Plants actually contain more iron then animals do. But it's in a less accessible form, harder for our body to absorbe, so we need to help it with vitamin C included in the same meal. Also, try to avoid calcium in the same meal that you're trying to get iron. Apparently calcium and iron interfere with the absorption of each other. For better absorption of calcium use vitamin D. You can also try nori for iron. In general dried food seems to hold a lot more minerals etc. Also boil plants for greater absorption of minerals, kills the vitamins, but if it's minerals you're after destroying the cell walls will help release their contents. For a good mix I love steaming of food. :-)
@@niannecjs PS. Don't feel bad about being a flexitarian. Your health is more important. And honestly just caring to start with is a *huge* improvement over your average consumer. :-)
5:04 Morgenstemning, Edvard Grieg. I remember playing that as a kid. Not 100% sure about what instrument it was, just that I learned it. It's a beautiful melody. I don't recognize the second melody she plays though?
Yes that song from Edvard Grieg is beautiful! The second song she played was a French song. I don’t know who the composer is or how it is called unfortunately
0:51 Yeah, we sailed and rowed boats like those a lot. For instance in the Trondheim fjord and back. They where used for local fishing and transport. Ships the size of that first one was used more for transportation of fish between the areas it is was fished and dried and down to Bergen where it was sold to the international market.
0:04 The ships we where sailing where really similar to those, but smaller. Same rigging and everything. Since ours where smaller we *could* row. Not really a option with these from what I remember. Edit: 0:45 Wait, this one is flat at the back? That's *very* different from the ships I'm used to.
10:34 Oh dear, we had the exact same model of washing machines in the communal washing room in the house where my old apartment is located... They often broke down... :-/ And no spare parts during the coronavirus outbreak...
Originally I’m studying to become a nurse :). I’m following my minor here in Norway. The course is called adventure knowledge. So we learn about topics such as the nature here in Norway, friluftsliv, art, cultural heritage and architecture :)
