Dude I thought this was my channel until I noticed the muffler. I got a gray tarp on my porch and that exact bike I'm building but did not remember uploading this video lol. I got this crappy motor mount that just mimics a v frame, it's such a tight fit man I wish I saw this type of mount. I'm getting an arch pulley that lets me put pulley wheels all along a path however many I need (which is like 2).
No worries bro. Yeah I did a bunch of research before I started to put the bike together. There is always something we would like to do to the project.
Badass! Finally found an OCC Stingray at a good price. Picking up tomorrow and starting to buy parts for my motor build. Can you post a link to the motor mounts you bought from Amazon? I'm not exactly what I'm looking for.
Some of my experience with this issue. The oem iacv is really expensive. Even after I clean it I'm still getting rough idle. You can kind of adjust the position of the iacv it gives some play. I took it off like 5 times to clean it and make sure it spins freely, added some DW40. I got nothing to loose. The rpms are still at 1100. So I'm definitely replacing with an off brand one from autozone. Currently waiting on part. Wish everyone luck it didn't work for me. Wish I knew how to calibrate it or something.
I just saw the video and was very much swayed to see a imense savings opportunity opposed to the Floridian way with respect to Jim ..There is enough moola for all and I m going to check out this possibility of a greater way of saving some ash for a newer up to date bike as there are so many nowdays. Thank for the share and have a safe covid memorial day.
Thanks appreciate it. I did a build video check it out and let me know if you got any questions. My hub measured 1.25" I got the 36 tooth for more top end. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LGXTQ1E?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
The faster you are going the better the brakes you want to have. Unfortunately the squeeze rubber bicycle brakes are the cheapest but they don't provide adequate breaking.
These are the mounts I bought, unfortunately, they are currently unavailable. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JB4TTTI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here is a different option. www.pedalchopper.com/motor-mount-drag-pipe-stingray-specific/
The Mazda coolant temp sensor threads in to the GM cylinder head. Then just plug it in. The oil pressure sensor I used this www.amazon.com/Engine-Adapter-Pressure-Sensor-551172/dp/B015NFNC10/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=ls1+oil+pressure+adapter&qid=1599566377&sprefix=ls1+oil+pre&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyR1M5MVhTOTZYOTA3JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDc4Mzc3MkpTTE9KNk9NOFA0UyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMTEzODMxMjJCUVNXQTVaOFZZViZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl For the Crankshaft this is what I got www.ls1rx8.com/store/p14/LS_Trigger_Wheel.html
The brake lines I just bent them out of the way. Without taking them apart. The steering I bought this www.ls1rx8.com/store/p95/Steering_Extension_.html
Dissembled the RX8 Fuel pump assembly and installed the one that works for the power and fuel demand of The engine. Remove the RX8 in fuel pump assembly fuel pressure regulator.
