This made me feel the weight of what's going to happen even more than the actual reveal trailer did. I remember my main complaint about Lightfall's reveal trailer was that it was too flashy rather than menacing and threatening. Not that I didn't like it, mind you, it was great. Just wasn't what I expected.
OMG, I love that transition from Uldren aiming the gun at Cayde ready to fire, to Zavala reaching his hand out to Crow, how Ulrden standing their lines up so well with Zavala, they must have planned that shot like that. Just awesome.
It’s crazy, so many players and characters in the game had theories about what the Darkness is. Now we know: light, dark, it doesn’t matter. You’re morals, your actions, that’s what defines a Guardian as good or evil. Not to tools they wield. We now know the Darkness itself was not our enemy that brought about the Collapse, it was the Witness.
